Today we were back at the Siedlerklause and were once again extremely satisfied. The food was excellent, and the staff were all super friendly. We'd be happy to come back.

A long-established restaurant, right in the heart of the neighborhood. Spruced up inside and out, solid German and Adriatic (Croatian?) food, and good prices. We'll be happy to come back.

We've been to the Siedlerklause several times; the hosts are always friendly and the service is attentive! The restaurant, including the kitchen, is open all day and offers a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere, especially for older guests. It's still a classic country pub with a large bar and several event rooms. The food is good, home-style with large portions, very tasty, and reasonable prices. It's always worth a visit!

Today was our first visit to the Siedler-Klause with our two children. Everyone was super friendly, and the children were immediately given something to paint. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We would recommend it anytime and will definitely come back again.

Price-performance ratio is very good and the food (I usually take schnitzel) is always very tasty 😉 As a bonus: you can also order gluten-free schnitzel, THANK YOU👍

Overall, everything was okay. My beef liver was unfortunately a bit overcooked, almost like a shoe sole, but it was still okay. The fries and salad were good. The pork medallions could have been more tender and seasoned better, and the mushroom sauce was overpowered by one spice. The price/performance ratio was okay. The service was very friendly, but seemed rather uncoordinated.

Wir waren Sonntag hier (spontan) im Zuge einer kleinen Radtour. Die Kneipe/das Restaurant war gut besucht, trotzdem haben wir ohne Reservierung sofort einen Platz bekommen. Die Auswahl ein Speisen und Getränken ist hervorragend. Und die Qualität eben dieser war es auch. Es gibt wohl herkömmliches wie Schnitzel oder Currywurst, aber auch kroatisches, was wir gegessen haben und sehr zu empfehlen ist (Bild: Pola Pola). Die Bedingungen waren auch total nett, schnell und zuverlässig. Wir werden hier bestimmt mal wieder nach einer Tour halt manchen

We celebrated our wedding at the Siedlerklause. The event hall with its beautiful outdoor area offered plenty of space for us and our 60 guests. The food was good; everyone was well-fed. The service was excellent. We had staff bringing our ordered drinks to our tables until midnight. We naturally accepted that this wasn't always quick, despite the ongoing business. Some people are complaining about this in the reviews, and this is completely unjustified. We would celebrate at the Siedlerklause again anytime. For weddings, we also recommend cakes from Eventcake in Baesweiler.

Hey everyone... Our visit to the Siedler Klause was a complete success. The food was impressive across the board: Everything was fresh, flavorful, and attractively presented. Particularly noteworthy was the crisp salad with a delicious dressing, as well as the juicy Balkan-style paprika schnitzel – accompanied by a fruity, wonderfully balanced sauce. The fries were also golden brown, crispy, and cooked well – you could add more salt if you wish. The beer was served promptly, and the entire staff – especially the friendly waiter – was extremely attentive and welcoming. We were able to enjoy our meal in a relaxed atmosphere in the cozy winter garden. The location is also convenient: If you arrive on foot, the restaurant is easy to reach, and there are also plenty of parking spaces. The small beer garden is particularly charming and definitely invites you to linger with a cool drink. Conclusion: A very successful visit – we would gladly come back.

I can recommend the place. I ate there with my sister and friend. I had the Argentinian rump steak with pepper cream sauce and I loved it. My friend and I had the 300g steak and my sister had the 200g, but it didn't look any smaller. The meat was asked for medium and was perfect. The fries looked homemade and were delicious. It came with a small salad. My friend's sauce requests were also fulfilled. We would love to come back. It was just a bit loud, but that just shows it was busy. I recommend making a reservation in advance, as we did.

The food is good, home-style cooking and can be recommended with a clear conscience. The service, however, is a story of its own. It feels like an eternity before someone finally comes to your table so you can order a drink. So, don't arrive there particularly thirsty. If you're not too lazy, you can grab the menu while you wait and then order your food along with your drinks. The wait for the food is really short compared to the previous wait. The salad came first, and you can enjoy it in peace because it's really good. After enjoying the fresh and delicious salad, the main courses arrived. The plates were very attractively presented, and the food was really good. The prices, like everywhere these days, aren't exactly cheap anymore, but they're reasonable considering the freshness, quantity, and presentation. After we received the food, however, we didn't see any of the staff for what felt like an eternity. Unfortunately, due to a lack of other staff, we weren't able to consume more than the one drink we ordered with our meal (which, by the way, wasn't the 0.4-liter glass we ordered, but rather just 0.2-liter glasses). Please don't misunderstand me: the people who served us were all very friendly, but they were obviously so focused on individual tasks that, frankly, the overall service was abysmal – sorry. It's nice not to be rushed as a guest, but you should keep an eye out for empty glasses, etc., and react accordingly. Even if it might not be so easy on the outdoor terrace, technical aids should perhaps be used. Nevertheless, we will gladly return.

I can recommend eating and drinking (there is still a bar here, unfortunately a drinking culture that is dying out).

We had dinner there on March 25, 2025. The decor is rustic and cozy. There is a bowling alley and a beer garden for use in summer. The service was very friendly. The portions were quite generous. The taste of our chosen dishes was without complaint. We liked it so much that we would like to come back at Easter.

Today we spontaneously decided to try this restaurant because we liked the selection of dishes and the prices. We sat in the small winter garden, which was nicely and functionally furnished. I think it's important to have a salt and pepper mill. These looked very elegant. We treated ourselves to soup beforehand, chicken soup and beef soup. Both tasted very good and homemade. The friendly owner later confirmed this to us. The 2 schnitzels per person with the medium hot cream sauce were crispy and very tasty. Thick fries and croquettes were an ideal complement. The side salad that was brought in advance was fresh and had a very pleasant dressing. 2 meals with 4 drinks for 50 euros is simply rare to find these days given the quality. We would love to come back

The Siedlerklause is a little hidden in a residential area, but is definitely worth a visit. The restaurant is modernly furnished and, in addition to the normal dining room, offers a winter garden, a terrace, a bowling alley and rooms of different sizes for different occasions. In total there can be space for up to 400 people. The food is great, the portions are very good and the price is completely reasonable.

Recommended, friendly service, always something to laugh about. And really great food from Lilo, always a pleasure. Tip: Always reserve on weekends ☺️

We have been to the Siedler Klause many times and have not regretted it to this day. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the food is perfect, and if you have any wishes about the food, they will be fulfilled as far as possible. Friends who we told about it and who then went there and ate were thrilled.

I was in the Siedlerklause for the first time with the love of my life. The food was very tasty and the service was top. We didn't have to wait long for our food. You immediately feel comfortable. The restaurant is modernly furnished. I had mango sorbet for dessert and it was a dream.

The restaurant offers excellent food – the quality and taste are really top! The prices are absolutely reasonable and offer great value for money. The atmosphere is also pleasant and it's wonderful to sit here!! Perfect for a cozy evening or a good meal with friends and family. Highly recommended!

Siedler-Klause Alsdorf – A real culinary highlight! Today we were able to go to a birthday party at Siedler-Klause Alsdorf – and what a fantastic afternoon it was! Even though I've lived nearby for almost 25 years, I've never eaten there before. After this wonderful experience, one thing is certain: This will definitely not be our last visit! A pleasure for all senses The food was simply excellent! Every dish was a true taste experience, from the starter to the dessert - everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned and prepared with a lot of love. Everyone I spoke to that afternoon was equally enthusiastic and raved about the deliciousness. Excellent service The service was also exceptional! The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive and always available - but never intrusive. You really felt like you were being looked after by good friends. I have rarely experienced so much warmth and hospitality, and that made the visit even more pleasant! A true hidden gem I really wonder how I could have walked past such a great gem so close to me for so long. The Siedler-Klause has everything you could want from a perfect restaurant visit: excellent food, first-class service and a warm, inviting atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. Conclusion The Siedler-Klause definitely deserves the full 5 stars! It's a place I can recommend to absolutely everyone and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. I'll definitely come more often - and who knows, maybe it will be my next birthday soon!

We ate there for the first time yesterday and were both very impressed. We were able to sit comfortably in the winter garden. The food was very good and the portions were generous. We've eaten there many times and everything was OK for us. Maybe you should hang a sign at the entrance saying that payment is only possible in cash, it's not a bad thing but you have to know it. Räumlichkeiten hell, freundlich und gemütlich. Zuvorkommendes Personal, und flexible Küche, die auch auf Sonderwünsche eingeht. Kurze Wartezeiten, sehr leckeres Essen mit Portionen, die auch für "gute Esser" mehr als ausreichend sind.

Das Essen und die Getränke sind 1A. Schöne mazedonische Balkan Gerichte.

Ich war neulich dort und habe bestellt eine Folienkartoffel mit Sour Cream und Gemüse dazu (Erbsen, Möhren). Ich war enttäuscht von der Frische der Lebensmittel, das Gemüse machte den Eindruck wie TK-Ware, aufgetaut, im Kühlschrank aufbewahrt und dann in der Mikrowelle aufgewärmt. Die Kartoffel war auch nicht der Hit. Klar, deutlich und freundlich meine Unzufriedenheit bzw berechtigte Beanstandung kommuniziert und die Chefin hat mein Essen, wovon ich maximal 5-10% gegessen hatte, NICHT BERECHNET und sich entschuldigt. Was mal wieder zeigt, in Zeiten von Google, Facebook & Co, wenn was nicht passt, sprecht es doch lieber sofort an, statt lächelnd zu nicken bei der Frage, ob es geschmeckt hat und dann nachher feige im Internet nachzukarten! Nur wer sofort kommuniziert, dem kann geholfen werden.
