A really great shop. The ambience is beautiful and invites you to sit and stay. The food is always outstanding, it's worth trying the daily menu and the cake. We're always happy to come back!

On Saturday, February 1, 25, we had breakfast in Living for the first time. It was fabulous and very enjoyable. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and taken to the table. The entire team is very friendly and very attentive. The rooms are very pleasantly furnished and you feel very comfortable there. When you look at the overall picture, you immediately notice that it is very tidy and very clean. Our breakfast was surprisingly varied, there was something for everyone and it tasted delicious. The waiter who made us happy with the delicious “sparkling wine ~ sparkling wine” was particularly complimentary. At this point, thank you again for the recommendation. The staff really puts a lot of effort into customer satisfaction and this is very commendable. Our morning at Living was excellent, we felt very comfortable there and would be happy to recommend it. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

I would like to report very positively about this restaurant. I originally had a voucher for Living in Stolberg. Since this restaurant has been closed for a long time now, we were able to redeem the voucher there without any problems. The staff was extremely friendly and you felt welcome at all times. The food was sufficient and very tasty, I particularly liked the starter plate for two... I would have preferred more shrimp than olives, but that is ultimately a matter of taste. We were very satisfied.

I had breakfast there again today with my mother. Once again the slightly older employee was out and about with a face that looked like it had been raining for seven days. It's a shame because I think when you work with people you should bring some kindness to the surface. Otherwise it was delicious and beautiful there. PS: We still gave him a tip, but he didn't smile either😅

We had breakfast there a week ago with a larger group. When we arrived we were insulted because we weren't there with 18 people as reserved, but only with 15! We should have let you know if there were fewer people than registered. Since the restaurant opens at 9 a.m., there was unfortunately no time window to announce this, as we had also made a reservation for 9 a.m.! Then a more expensive champagne breakfast was charged, which we hadn't even ordered. In addition, you can only get packaged sausages and cheeses here. When we made the staff aware of the increased price, we received €50 back for 15 people! This did not come close to the price that had already been paid too much! We were definitely there for the last time. Impossible how you treat customers in this location!

There were 12 adults and 5 children who ate there on Boxing Day. I had a salad with goat cheese, which was very tasty… The service, however, was terrible... Unfortunately, the table was not prepared for so many registered people... even after 30 minutes at the table, our drink requests were only accepted upon request... and unfortunately each of us was stuck with just this one drink. The food was brought - no one was seen after that... No one asked if everything was ok, if something was missing or if anyone else wanted something to drink…. Very, very unfortunate….. At this point I would like to mention that all the employees were very friendly - but unfortunately that didn't work out in the end... unfortunately we won't be coming back.

We had dinner here with two couples and were very impressed. Both about the ambience and the service and especially about the food. We were thrilled with everything from the starter to the main course and the dessert. Once again I couldn't decide. There was also a day/season ticket. We were particularly pleased by the attention of the staff: When we went in we chatted because we were celebrating a birthday and there was a small champagne as a welcome toast. Today we were in Living for the first time. The food chosen was close - very close to perfection. Wonderfully tender meat, crunchy vegetables, an excellent pepper sauce with just the right level of spiciness and fries that couldn't be made better. It probably wasn't quite 15 minutes until the food was served after ordering, but this short waiting time was more than worth it. When we visited, the restaurant was well attended and there was a corresponding background noise, but this didn't detract from the culinary enjoyment in any way. Unobtrusive, friendly and brisk staff further enhanced the visit. Our food was more than worth every cent, and the price was clearly reasonable. Overall, a visit to Livin in Ofden is highly recommended. It certainly wasn't our last.

We were there for breakfast with 4 people. The restaurant was very busy, but we were served quickly and charmingly. We were all completely satisfied and can only say: recommended!!

We had breakfast at this restaurant this morning with the family. At the beginning we were very overwhelmed by the volume and the narrowness of the rooms, as the place was far too crowded and the music was also booming from the speakers. When we were finally able to order our drinks, we waited a good three quarters of an hour and another same time for the food, as the organization of the waiters in this restaurant is unfortunately not well thought out - 1 waitress for around 100 customers is obviously far too little. They weren't particularly friendly either. The breakfast was nicely prepared, but you can only expect cold cuts from a package. Overall, the living is unfortunately more appearance than reality - nice for Instagram pictures, but not for a delicious and relaxed breakfast with the family.

I had breakfast there and don't really know where to start. The establishment definitely leaves something to be desired in terms of sufficient staff in relation to the number of guests. This resulted in a 30 minute wait for a coffee. After about another 20 minutes, breakfast made it to the table. For a breakfast in this price range, the guest should receive something more than a meager amount of pre-packaged cold cuts. It was also loud and crowded! There is definitely no recommendation from me!

We went to Living for lunch on a Sunday. The service was attentive and quick. The food was delicious and satisfying. Price/performance was okay, very nice interior design The only drawback was that there were a lot of flies at the table and on the windows, which was very annoying.

It's a nice restaurant, but located on Dorfstrasse. It was a bit uncomfortable on the terrace, just because of the street. The restaurant is warm, cozy and nice. Service was ok 👌 for a restaurant in a small village. The gourmet platter we ordered for 2 + 1x more was beautifully presented with fruit (fresh), cheese 3 types (2 slices each) sausage 3 types (2 slices each) 2 mini jam jars with plenty of butter as well as some smoked salmon and 3 slices of tomato with 3 slices of mozzarella Drink: either O juice or sparkling wine (glass). Rolls and bread coffee had to be taken separately. The price of 16 euros + coffee is really steep. Disappointed 😞 a bit because the neighboring table had the same amount for 2 people. 🫠 It was nice but not again for just under 70 euros

Hello, I was here again today. The breakfast was great as always. What I miss from you is a smile. No matter which one of you it was this morning. Smiling is good for the soul, for you and also for the customers. I was self-employed in the catering industry for 23 years; everyone has a bad day and a lot to do But with humor and heart it's easier. This is a friendly criticism, not a bad one. We ate here for the first time this evening. The service was good, the employees friendly. The dishes were delicious and freshly prepared. The restaurant was busy inside and outside, but the waiting time was still absolutely normal. Overall, recommended, we will come back again and try other dishes.

Had dinner here with 6 people. The starter platter was great and I can only recommend it, the main course was unfortunately dry with little sauce. The service was friendly but very slow, you would have to make a lot of effort to get drinks otherwise you would die of thirst. So unfortunately overall it wasn't a very good impression. It's questionable whether I would eat here again

We like going to Living in Ofden. However, the reservation for Mother's Day didn't go well. Reserved two weeks in advance - they wanted to call back to confirm - but that wasn't done - when we asked, everything was fully booked. Not a nice way to deal with guests!

Unfortunately, my daughter was served a moldy burger bun. The waitress offered her a replacement, but her appetite was no longer there. The salad leaf served as a side dish was already mushy and brown on the stalk and the chicken nuggets served for my other daughter neither looked like them nor tasted like them. They were also very dry. The service staff offered a replacement for the moldy burger bun in the form of a new burger and apologized, but overall she seemed rather calm and quite annoyed. Not a nice evening for us. We won't be coming back.

Super friendly service, the best ambience and food that is already worthy of stars! We have become regular customers. Yesterday we had the best asparagus we have ever eaten! We can absolutely recommend LIVING and remain regular customers!!!

So far I was satisfied. But now the staff wasn't particularly friendly. And to make matters worse, we had to return a meal. The sauce had curdled and the ravioli fell apart because they were cooked for too long. We got a replacement, but the chef would have it have to see and not even give it out. The restaurant was empty except for our table and one more table.

First of all: The living is great! Especially in summer when you can sit outside (because it's not so loud then)... Yesterday we were with a closed group in the room "next door", which is suitable for 30 - 50 people, there were 33 of us. A week before, we went to a “normal” restaurant for breakfast with our neighbors. I'm a regular guest there with my girlfriend and we enjoy celebrating our birthdays with a delicious meal with our small family. We love the living, really like the food and enjoy the great service from the very attentive staff. The furnishings are great and I would like to have one or two chairs at home ;-). Now comes the big BUT - which is why I'm deducting points: It's far too loud in the rooms! PLEASE, PLEASE dear owner, invest in acoustic objects that absorb the noise. When the restaurant (or lounge) is full, you can no longer understand your own words. There is nothing anywhere to absorb the noise. We measured over 90 decibels with our cell phone, both at breakfast and in private settings. It's not really fun, it's tiring and it puts a bit of a damper on your mood when you're constantly asking what the other person has said and almost shouting at each other. Both times, despite the nice company and the occasion, we were happy to be able to go again. Please change something, because you shouldn't be looking forward to the end of the event because the background noise is almost unbearable. Had dinner there last night with five people. Instead of offering a large table, they only provided a table for four people, where they then simply added a chair. That was very cramped in terms of space. The food was a disaster. Meat not fried to perfection, cold and partly raw vegetables. And the fries were fried twice and were rock hard. Not to forget the vegetarian burger, which was inedible. So the food tastes better in the chip shop. Not recommendable.

So far we have only been to the Living for breakfast. However, the breakfast is really great. My wife had a salmon breakfast and I had an omelet. Both were very rich and of great quality. The food was also really well prepared.

We have been to Living a few times and are relatively satisfied. Unfortunately not last time... the staff isn't the fastest. We sat at the bar with an empty glass for over 20 minutes until we ordered more ourselves. We also noticed that the staff wanted to get off work quickly. We were sometimes the last guests and asked at 9.30 p.m.!! how long will it be open? Then came: “actually until midnight” which means we should leave now. We were told last lap before 11 p.m.!!! An impudence ! If you want to have guests who only come for lunch and want to close at 10 p.m., you should also set the opening times to 10 p.m. We felt totally uncomfortable and realized we should leave. Constantly speaking in another language in front of guests is an absolute NO GO!! We also noticed that they were no longer in the mood! Plus, the food there isn't that special either... it's definitely the last time we've been there!

In short: The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, also suitable for wheelchairs or people with disabilities (entrance, restaurant on the ground floor, I didn't test the toilets). Service was attentive but not intrusive and quick. Special requests are fulfilled. Food very tasty, rich and nicely served. Conclusion: I would love to come back. Disadvantage: Not enough parking spaces in the immediate vicinity (5 in front of the restaurant entrance), remaining parking spaces in the residential streets. In summer, the beautiful outdoor terrace is guaranteed to be a highlight!

Have had breakfast at Living many times and have always been really impressed. Unfortunately that wasn't the case last weekend. We had reserved a table for seven people and sat at a table that would have been for a maximum of 5. We paid extra and took the gourmet platter for 2 people with salmon, but there were only 1.5 slices of salmon on the platter. Not even enough for half a roll, let alone for two people. Otherwise there were grapes, melon, etc. on the plate. This time the plate was generously filled with lettuce. Despite repeated complaints, we waited over half an hour for the coffee, which unfortunately only came when we had already finished breakfast. When we ordered cold drinks after breakfast and had to wait over 20 minutes for them, we decided to pay and leave. We have always been very enthusiastic about the breakfast, but unfortunately we were quite disappointed last weekend. We will think carefully about whether we should go there again or try something else. A pity.

Ordered croquettes instead. 3 (three) pieces also came, 2 more hidden under the schnitzel and flattened because they were fried too short! Schnitzel and sauce were economical seasoned!! Salad dressing, sour makes fun!! Was definitely the last visit!!

Went there for the first time today... at 6 p.m. all the chicken dishes were sold out and there weren't any side dishes left... but we were kindly pointed out about this before ordering... we then decided on a salad with steak strips and a beef skewer ... visually it looked very good .. but unfortunately the beef on every plate was fried to death... the unseasoned strips had a liver taste and were extremely dry... a shame... we kindly told the waitress when they were clearing away .. got a coffee on the house... think the chef had a bad day... will try it again

Wir waren am 1. Weihnachtstag dort essen. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht. Dennoch war das Personal freundlich, locker und selbst untereinander sehr locker im Umgang. Man fühlte sich trotz Hochbetrieb herzlich willkommen. Das Highlight des Abends kam dann vom gesamten Personal. Das Licht wurde gedimmt, felice navidad eingespielt und die gesamte Crew lief mit Wunderkerze singend durch die Gaststätte. Das muss man in so einem Streß erstyl hinkriegen. Respekt und danke dafür!

Ein sehr schmackhaftes Weihnachtsmenü, in einem stilvollen Ambiente mit einem aufmerksamen, natürlich (nicht aufgesetzt), herzlichen Bedienung. Schöner kann ein Besuch in einem Restaurant nicht sein. Danke für den schönen Abend und dem tollen Essen.

Hatten ein sehr sehr leckeres Weihnachtsmenü bestehend aus Maronensüppchen, Rehbraten und Hirschgulasch. Anschließend Mousse au chocolat und Waffeln mit Vanilleeis, Sahne und Obst. Sehr sympathisch und freundliches Personal, das uns an Weihnachten eine entsprechend schöne Atmosphäre bescherte. Immer wieder gerne 🤩

Ich war bis jetzt mit meinem Mann 2 mal dort essen und beide male konnten wir uns nicht beschweren . Der Service war sehr nett und auch flott und auch das Essen war sehr lecker. Es ist jetzt ca. 2 Monate her, dass wir das letzte mal dort waren :)

Essen war lecker kam auch relativ schnell nach der Bestellung. Leider war das Personal kaum an unserem Tisch. Ich bin drei mal aufgestanden und zur Theke gegangen wo zwei Service Mitarbeiter standen um 1. Getränke zu bestellen das zweite mal um nach der Karte für Dessert zu fragen. Wenn ein Gast schon das zweite mal zur Theke kommt und nach der Karte fragt geht man eigentlich davon aus, dass die Bedienung dann kommt um fragen ob wir ein Dessert ausgewählt haben. Fehlanzeige dieses habe ich auch selbst an der Theke bestellt. Waren daher mit dem Service ganz und gar nicht zufrieden!
