We were in the restaurant for a lunch break on the occasion of a dog sports event. Food was freshly cooked and tasty, service was friendly and attentive. Price/performance very good. Concept great 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Our experience in the restaurant: Unfortunately not suitable for our Christmas party We ate in this restaurant yesterday because we were looking for a suitable location for the Christmas party of our company and our subsidiary. We wanted to have a test dinner to get an impression. Unfortunately, we now have to look further. We would like to positively highlight the beautiful ambience and the very friendly staff, both in the restaurant itself and when making the reservation by telephone. The team was consistently attentive and helpful. For starters we had bruschetta and baked sheep's cheese, both of which were very tasty and a successful start. Unfortunately, impressions of the main courses were mixed. I had the baked potato with chicken. The taste of the dish was good, although I found it a bit incongruous to find raw ends of spring onions in it. This is certainly a matter of taste, but I found it less appealing. My husband chose the “Schlemmerpfanne”, which was relatively expensive at €26.50, but unfortunately it was a disappointment. The hollandaise sauce was cold and more like pudding in consistency when poured over the dish. When asked, the waitress confirmed that the sauce is always served that way, but offered to warm the dish again. However, since my husband had already lost his appetite due to the first impression, he declined. The fried potatoes were also disappointing: some of them were burnt black and tasted accordingly. Some darker spots might have been acceptable, but combined with the excessive greasiness it was just too much. The quality of the meat was also not convincing: the beef was “rare” but tough, the pork was overcooked and also tough, only the chicken was juicy and really well done. As we were clearing up, the waitress told us that they could have brought us a new dish, but my husband's evening was already over. As a small gesture, we got the two espressos on the house, which was nice, but unfortunately couldn't improve the overall impression.

We really enjoy going to the Teufelsmoorschleuse. Everything is always perfect 👍. The staff is always very nice and the food is great!

Idyllically located restaurant on the Hamme.

Ein sehr gut besuchtes Lokal. Die Preise sind fair die Mahlzeiten ausreichend, man wird satt. Es gibt die Möglichkeit durch Extras mehr Beilagen zu kaufen, hierdurch muss nicht soviel Essen in den Abfall. Also nachhaltig. Gerade in der Kaserne wird der Gastronomiebereich immer weniger. Man kann froh sein in Garlstedt einen so gut laufenden Gastronomie Betrieb zu haben. Das Essen schmeckt und die Getränke haben günstige Preise. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Danke für eure Leistung macht weiter so. Und an alle Besucher: Den Besuch zu etwas schönen zu machen liegt in eurer Hand. Zeigt ein Lächeln, seid höflich und freundlich so wird man es auch erwidern. Everything was very tasty, although the rice could have used a little more seasoning, a matter of taste. Staff great. First there was an ouzo.

Since I was a child we have only been going there for the farmer's breakfast. Today we are full of anticipation after our 6 children have finally all been accommodated (very close to Bremerhaven) and suddenly it is only available at lunchtime! The staff didn't even make an exception, even though it wouldn't be a huge effort for them since it was already in progress on the stove! This is the last time Meyerhoff has seen us...
