The restaurant has moved. Nevertheless, the rating at this point. We stayed at La Mer a few days ago because of the many very positive reviews. Deliciously prepared fish with very tasty vegetables. Nevertheless, the price-performance ratio is not justified (at 40-45€ for a main course we are used to a different level, or the same quality is also available in Neuharlingersiel for 25-30€). The portions are clearly oversized - perhaps this is intended to justify the price, but it leaves the aftertaste of waste as the portions simply would not be eaten by a more normal guest. In addition, as a guest you don't always feel valued - no starter as a main course, ordering just one starter is not allowed. In my opinion, the fact that I, as a guest, am even told what is allowed and what is not misses the point of the term “restaurant”. Overall, good food, friendly service - but with compromises in terms of price-performance and hospitality.

Great service, very nice and very tasty. Had the halibut fried and with croquettes instead of boiled potatoes and dill sauce instead of melted butter. The “special requests” weren’t a problem. I drank a good Guinness with it, which isn't on the menu in the restaurant but is often picked up from downstairs in the pub. Price/portion was great and the taste was very good. I can only recommend it, it's worth it. I also recommend making a reservation as it is very busy.

Were there again over New Year's Eve. As always, great! Clean, nicely furnished hotel rooms, very extensive breakfast buffet. Staff courteous, all wishes are fulfilled. Also in the evening in the restaurant, which has been run separately from Marko since 2021. Mega delicious food, both the fish dishes and the meat variants. The staff is on the ball, very friendly and always ready with a quick saying, it's really fun 😉. Our thanks to everyone who looked after us. Keep it up.

Very nice restaurant with a small menu of exquisite dishes in a great atmosphere. It tasted excellent, the service was extremely friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Fine cuisine, price/performance is right. We had dinner there and were completely satisfied. This restaurant is definitely planned for your next vacation in Neuharlingersiel.

Food was very tasty, we had two pizzas, a hefty price at around 17 euros but delicious.. the salad is not on the menu but it is there.. it was also very tasty for a side salad. Service was so friendly, but there was something sharp-edged in my pizza that looked like splinters of wood. The waiter then said it came from the chicken, but the chicken actually comes boneless. Then he left for a moment and came back and said it came from the pepperoni. But I didn't eat it until later; it was in the salad. Well, I don't care whether it was picked up or something else, it was in the food and didn't belong there, no excuses, no nothing, I found that disappointing. So we probably wouldn't eat there again. You continue to look at the leisure pool the whole time, which was a bit irritating

I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights, arrived at midday and was able to check in straight away. I felt comfortable there from the first minute. Super clean! The breakfast was also great! Individual requests were even taken into account in the event of intolerance and there was plenty of everything available, no matter what time. Thank you very much again!
