We stayed at the Landhotel Bauernstuben yesterday. It had very nice, large rooms and a fantastic breakfast buffet. Dinner in the restaurant was also truly fantastic. Plaice fillet with fried potatoes, redfish fillet with fried potatoes, and a side salad you could put together yourself from the salad buffet. It couldn't be better! Excellent value for money, and the drinks were also completely reasonable!

The best food and staff I've experienced in a long time, or ever. Friendly but not pushy or fake, very charming and empathetic, and the restaurant is no exception. The food was beyond delicious, and we were repeat customers. Tomorrow (Tuesday) it's unfortunately closed, otherwise we'd be back. 😄

This was our fifth time at this hotel. We really enjoyed it again. The room in the annex was spacious. The bathroom was fairly new, and there was a kitchenette with a stove and refrigerator. The breakfast buffet is second to none and is always perfectly prepared. The restaurant, which is run separately from the hotel, is fantastic. The owner/tenant, Marko Bleek, has a great team. The menu offers practically everything you could want: fish 🐟, meat, and vegetables. The food was always delicious, too. . . 😋

I can't give any information about the rooms, but whenever we're up north, we eat here at least once. It's fantastic. Very good food.

We had an apartment with a terrace! Beautifully furnished, large bathroom. Very friendly staff. A large selection at breakfast, but the absolute highlight was the three-course dinner! Simply fantastic from the first to the last evening! A little tip: booking directly is cheaper! This definitely won't be our last stay!

First vacation with a baby, and where to go? At the Landhotel Bauernstuben, we were able to combine the freedom of a vacation apartment with the advantages of a hotel. In addition to the excellent breakfast buffet and the use of the restaurant in the evening, we were very pleased, and for a quick snack or bottle in between, we had a wonderful two-room room with a small kitchenette. We were very satisfied and will definitely be back. A big compliment to the lovely ladies on the cleaning team!

We were there for breakfast. The buffet was very extensive, and there was plenty of food available right up until the end of breakfast time. The staff was very courteous and efficient, and they kept everything (buffet and tables) clean at all times. A wonderful holiday experience to start the day and highly recommended.

Unfortunately, our stay was more than mixed. We arrived with two adults and two dogs for two nights. First, it was strange that we had to pay for a "short stay." Then, our room wasn't clean the first time we entered: cobwebs in the corners, streaks on the mirror, mold in the shower, and hair in the sink. Also, our room looked nothing like the ones in the pictures. The bathroom was old and worn. Probably the usual reason: the dogs. It's just sad that you always have to pay extra for worn-out rooms. Then we paid a surcharge per dog/per night, only to find out that the room wasn't cleaned every day. There's no cleaning on Thursdays or Sundays. So why did we pay the surcharge? Especially since it wasn't mentioned anywhere, neither on the website nor in the booking confirmation! And let's be honest... This practice is more than unusual! You don't book a hotel for nothing. The breakfast was simple and straightforward. However, not all of the plates were clean. You really have to be careful. The bottom line is that we paid €360 PLUS tourist tax for two nights for two people, with two dogs, without any room cleaning. Far too expensive! We were very annoyed and won't be coming back.

We spontaneously stopped by the restaurant during the week. Despite the full house, we received excellent and prompt service. Our server was absolutely fantastic. The food was terrific! 😋

Eating plaice at the Bauernstuben is always a dream. The service is very friendly. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

We've been guests for 20 years... Nice, family-friendly atmosphere and first-class breakfast... The restaurant has been leased... Service and cuisine are really good...

The reception was terrible!!! No greeting. Just an unfriendly "Reserved?" When we asked to eat outside, we were met with "No, it's too hot." Our 2 stars go to the super-friendly waiter who tried to salvage what he could. We can't rate the food. We left after our drinks. We went to Dzani's in Werdum. A definite recommendation. Super friendly staff. And you can even eat outside in the summer!

Friendly service and a great breakfast – unfortunately, the suite had serious weaknesses We spent our first family vacation with a baby at this hotel and were warmly welcomed by the extremely friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious, lovingly prepared, and varied. The entire hotel also made a welcoming and well-maintained impression. A particularly positive aspect: The crib was already set up upon arrival – a service that was very helpful for us as a young family. The suite is spacious and actually offers plenty of space to relax. Unfortunately, we still have to advise against booking the suite. The large bedroom is directly on a busy road, just a few meters from the edge of the road. The proximity to the town entrance also means that cars and especially trucks travel at high speeds, which is noticeable not only acoustically but sometimes even through noticeable vibrations. Sleeping with the window open was impossible – and our baby woke up several times during the night despite the windows being closed. Additionally, a truck stopped right in front of the window almost every morning around 6 a.m., which significantly disrupted the start of the day. Unfortunately, our polite inquiry at reception asking if they could accommodate us due to the unusable bedroom and the daily noise disturbance was met with no empathy. Instead of an understanding response, we were simply dismissed with a smile – with the explanation that they couldn't divert traffic. A discussion on equal terms was impossible, and there was a complete lack of genuine understanding for our situation as a young family. Conclusion: A hospitable hotel with many positive aspects – but unfortunately, we cannot recommend the suite in the described location. If you are looking for a restful sleep, you should definitely insist on a quieter room.

We received a friendly welcome. The room (budget), at first glance, was attractively furnished. It was a bit worn. There were lots of dust bunnies under the bed, and a worn sock was lying behind the toilet. Service in the restaurant was courteous. The breakfast selection satisfied every wish.

We had a very nice stay at the Landhotel Bauernstuben. The staff was very polite and friendly, everyone always had a smile on their faces and was helpful. Breakfast in particular should not be missed. The selection was very large and the staff always ensured that the wishes of all guests were met. We also really liked our room. The one star deduction is for the bathroom, which is getting a bit old. Otherwise everything was clean and very comfortable. The way to Neuharlingersiel is also easy to do on foot, but thanks to the many parking options, it's also no problem by car. On our first evening we also ate in the hotel restaurant. Here too the staff was very friendly, polite and professional. The food was very tasty. We can only recommend the hotel and restaurant.

A very nice restaurant with very good food and friendly staff.

Luckily we had reserved a table there on a Saturday evening. When we arrived the parking lot was almost full and every corner of the restaurant was full. There was a lot of activity, but despite everything we were served very quickly and in a very friendly and competent manner. Even as a couple we didn't get a "cat table" and the food and drinks fully met our expectations. The menu is regionally down-to-earth and the price-performance ratio is completely okay. We would go there again at any time.

Also in the evening in the restaurant, which has been run separately from Marko since 2021. Mega delicious food, both the fish dishes and the meat variants. Approx. 4 km from Neuharlingersiel beach, located directly on the country road to Esens. The rooms are very quiet. Rooms are clean, well maintained and functionally furnished. The breakfast is full, very good. You must reserve a table for dinner as part of half board. The dinner is varied and also very, very good. All in all we felt absolutely comfortable

There were five of us, 2 children and 3 adults, eating in the restaurant with a prior telephone reservation. Worked great and completely problem-free. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The food was fabulous and value for money there was nothing to complain about.

We have just come home from our vacation on the beautiful North Sea. We stayed at the Hotel Bauernstuben in Groß Holum for a week. Unfortunately I can only give five points because they deserved much more. We were upstairs in the studio, a wonderfully designed, newly renovated apartment with beautiful windows, doors, furniture, terrace, kitchen. Oh, wonderful. It was sooooo beautiful, sooooo clean and so lovingly designed. The breakfast is awesome, the staff is super friendly. In the evening you can eat delicious food in the restaurant and simply have a good time. WELL, because written in small letters it wouldn't be enough. It was just great. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! See you next time in Neuharlingersiel.

We slept in the hotel for 4 nights, it was a really successful short vacation. The rich breakfast buffet was great, the dinner was excellent and the staff was just great. The room was very clean. We love the Frisian flair, the North German accent and the relaxed manner. We would be happy to come back and we can recommend the Hotel Bauernstube to everyone.

Nice and modern hotel, very nice staff. In the bathroom of the low-budget room you can't stand upright and shower if you're 1.80m+, so I found the price a bit too much. The rooms are quite noisy. Otherwise we liked it quite a bit, the breakfast buffet is generous and tasty, and the restaurant for dinner is also highly recommended.

Very friendly, helpful and, above all, happy and personable employees. It's just fun to stay in this hotel. You feel very comfortable and if you still live in the tower room... very relaxing. We will be back. We still miss the visit to the island of Juist.

We spent a gourmet weekend here in a comfort apartment. The hotel is located just outside Neuharlingersiel in a quiet location. The staff is very nice and helpful in all areas. The kitchen offers a very good selection of dishes and an extensive breakfast buffet. We really enjoyed the weekend and can give it an unreserved recommendation.
