A very nice hotel 🏨 where you can spend the night

The two of us are going to eat there. Very nicely laid table with a nice decoration. We had the carpaccio as a starter, which was extremely good. The main course was the saddle of venison, which we can only warmly recommend. The potato gratin was particularly delicious. Finally there was the flambéed crepé (also highly recommended). The service was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was homely. All in all, a very well-rounded evening.

Good Thai cuisine can generally be found in large cities, but the best is not in Hamburg or Frankfurt, but in Osterode am Harz. Excellent cuisine, the duck hoisin is fantastic.

We had dinner at Iljan's again today. And we found out that today was the last day. Unfortunately it is closing, we will miss him and his employees and of course also his delicious food. We wish him and his family all the best for the rest of his life. Kind regards from Papenburg

It's just a typical Asian restaurant with fast food, very well prepared and inexpensive. Vegetarian spring rolls were classic frozen foods. Main course a tamarind curry tempura with a selection of duck tasted good but rather Asian average. Probably especially for customers who have never been to Asia. It can't be freshly made at the speed of serving. Ambiance was nice. There are never metal chopsticks in Asia, never really, a bad habit in Europe, but they are dishwasher safe.

Very tasty food and also a small selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Edo Dangast: A Valentine’s Day menu in a class of its own On February 14th we experienced a culinary highlight at Edo in Dangast that set standards. As soon as we entered the restaurant we felt the special atmosphere: stylish, inviting and with a warm hospitality that characterized the entire evening. The Valentine's Day menu was a harmonious composition of the finest ingredients, masterfully prepared and perfectly presented. The start with the beetroot carpaccio was convincing with creamy sheep's cheese, crunchy pistachios and fine herbs - a fresh, elegant starter that left you wanting more. The following wild mushroom soup with smoked salmon and dill developed a deep aroma and demonstrated the house's art of creating a taste experience from simple ingredients. For the main course we chose the Five Spice duck leg, which was served with a wonderful combination of chilli, sesame and leek. The tender, aromatic duck was cooked to perfection and was perfectly complemented with Asian-inspired flavors. The sweet finale was the edo cheesecake, a dessert that was not only a little work of art in terms of taste but also visually - creamy, airy and perfectly balanced with a delicate acidity. But it wasn't just the kitchen that impressed us that evening. The service was attentive, warm and professional at the same time - a host who looked after his guests with real passion. The Edo in Dangast is more than just a restaurant - it is an oasis for foodies who value excellent cuisine and exceptional service. An evening that we will remember for a long time. We'll definitely be back!

Very tasty food, the best schnitzels in the area. Large portions, fast service, cash only possible. Payment by card would be nice and possibly new chairs, but still 5 stars overall

We reserved a table there based on a recommendation. Something must have changed with the owner or the staff since then. Neither the dishes advertised online nor the recommended “good taste” of the food could be found there. After a small selection of dishes and a long wait, you got mediocre food. There was also no packaging to take any leftover food with you. It's a shame, it must have been really good there.

The restaurant is now called Gjuci and is a Greek restaurant, which I highly recommend.

Extremely unfriendly staff! Insults on the phone! I am absolutely shocked. After the food wasn't good. Dealing with customers like that!
