Ich habe zwei Tage vor dem Abendessen den Tisch reserviert, man könnte also meinen, dass in einem Restaurant dieser Klasse ein Tisch mit Tischtuch und Gedeck vorbereitet wäre, aber leider weit gefehlt. Wenn auch die Aussicht auf den Edersee und seine Umgebung großartig war, so war die gesamte Terrasse in einem erbärmlichen Zustand. Der Boden verschmutzt (leere Süßigkeitensäcken einfach liegen gelassen), sonstiger Müll, Flecken und Unkraut. Die Pflanzen als Tischdekoration teilweise vertrocknet. Man isst auf Metalltischen, keine Unterlage für das Gedeck, keine Servietten, kein Kerzenlicht. Man bekommt das Besteck in Papiertüten mit einem Hauch von einer Papierserviette. Wenn ich dieses gehobene Restaurant für einen besonderen Abend wähle, dann erwarte ich mir eben auch ein gewisses Ambiente. Das Essen war gut und reichhaltig, es wird auf Sonderwünsche (Allergien) eingegangen, der Service hat den Mindeststandard erfüllt, mehr aber auch nicht..

Supplier very nice and understanding. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the rest of the satchel shop. We were told food would be there in a maximum of 1 hour, but it took 2.5 hours. One portion of tortellini was cold, another with minced meat sauce only had the taste of garlic, and the tortellini weren't cooked through. In the portion baked with cheese, everything stuck to the bottom of the shell and was burnt. The 4th dish was a burger, it was completely dry and the meat wasn't completely cooked through and there was no toppings other than the meat. €14 for a burger without tomatoes, cucumber or lettuce? That's a disgrace! I don't recommend anyone to order there

Giving 1 star alone is an insult to every restaurateur. So I really tried a lot of things there and tried to give the friendly staff on site a fair chance. You can't even eat the fries there. Soft and almost cold. The salad, well if you like big pieces of the stalk, then otherwise not recommended. Schnitzel sauce ready mix, pizza totally soggy and greasy. On the whole, I will never voluntarily order anything there again, let alone eat it. The staff is really nice, but that doesn't take away from the food.

Unfortunately the food is not suitable for a 5 star hotel. I had previously reserved a table by the fireplace, but when we came to dinner in the evening, all the tables were occupied. I then said that I had made a reservation and we had to wait in the lobby until a table became available - for free...that can happen. The table we were assigned wasn't the one we reserved and wasn't even wiped down briefly. There was no greeting from the kitchen and not even bread (although we had soup and salad as starters). The service was nice but unfortunately totally overwhelmed. The food itself was rather mediocre and not particularly well presented. Unfortunately, the price for the food and drinks here is totally exorbitant. I've already eaten in a number of 5 star hotels this year and always found it a highlight to enjoy a multi-course meal in the evening - but unfortunately not here. There was also no menu and two of the meals we ordered were no longer available, but we were only told this after the starter, otherwise we might have reordered the starter. All in all a big disappointment with a lot of room for improvement. However, the rooms in the hotel were really nice and the staff at the reception were extremely nice and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was also rather average for the price - at almost 100€ for 3 people, there is more choice in other hotels and no baked rolls and ready-made juice. Conclusion: Overnight stay again at any time, but eating away from home.

Heute stehe ich doch tatsächlich vor der geschlossenen Eingangstür. Der schriftliche Hinweis ''wg. anstehender Renovierungsarbeiten geschlossen'' ist unübersehbar. Na toll denke ich! Goggle zeigt mir - grün hinterlegt - heute geöffnet. Ich rufe unter der Geschäftsnummer an, und treffe auf den AB, wo mir eine Frauenstimme viel erzählt, nur nichts über die Ladenschließung. Die hauseigene Webseite verschweigt dies ebenso. Ein kommunikativer Umgang mit Kunden/Gästen würde man sich von der Ladenchefin Frau Kreuter sehr wünschen. Dieser ist ihr scheinbar abhanden gekommen. Schade! Hier ist der Kunde jedenfalls kein König mehr.

[Update] Very unfriendly staff. We pay per plate, but they limit how much food you can take. Ultimately, it is not worth eating there, and arguing with the Chinese is a game not worth the candle. I won't come there again, it's a waste of money. I'm taking away three stars. [Original review 2019] Very good Asian food. We pay €8.50 for a large plate or €4.50 for a small plate and put as much food on it as we can. Apart from that, the quality of the food itself is amazing. It's definitely worth it

My wife and I were guests at Enrico d’Assia yesterday. We had forest mushroom and pumpkin soup in advance with the aperitifs Gin-Tonic (Monkey) and Aperol Spritz. The two soups completely convinced us and were something special right from the start. The two aperitifs were solid and as expected. In my opinion, that's the maximum you should expect from a gin and tonic and Aperol Spritz. The main courses were octopus and hake. The side dishes include mashed potatoes, fried vegetables with a special request and Caesar salad. The octopus was very tasty and slightly smoky. Probably grilled over an open fire, served with a tomato sauce, which with its fruity note went perfectly with the slightly smoky octopus. The hake was evenly tender and cooked perfectly. Here the hake was deliberately presented in a classic way and with the mashed potatoes it was a dream. The Caesar salad was delicious and on top of that there was a glass of dry red wine from our own winery. For dessert we had panna cotta with mango topping and an espresso macchiato. The panna cotta was served in a mason jar in a very modern way and was an excellent finishing touch. However, I noticed something with the espresso macchiato ;-). The two coffee dots on the milk foam indicate a fully automatic machine. The taste was good, but an espresso from the portafilter would have been great at the end. All in all, we will definitely be repeat customers as we found the Enrico d’Assia to be slightly playful, where both the service and the presentation made us feel comfortable. And even though we couldn't try everything, we perceived the dishes listed as aiming for the perfect experience and not pure extravagance. The service team was young, motivated, friendly and courteous. The entire appearance of the restaurant is bold, in our opinion, because in contrast to the ambience and premises, Enrico d’Assia appears rather modern. Thank you for the lovely evening
