I debated for a moment whether I should write a review or not because I was afraid that if this place became more popular, the quality might deteriorate and I might lose one of my (newly) favorite restaurants. But this restaurant more than deserves a review. This shop is a hidden pearl in the entire Hochtaunus district. Completely inconspicuous from the outside, I tried this restaurant today with two work colleagues. The schnitzels are freshly pounded and breaded, correspondingly crispy and juicy, the fries are fresh and very crispy but not greasy, the soup and sauces are perfectly seasoned and not over-salted as is usually the case. The cevapcici were fried to perfection and also seasoned perfectly. I had the impression that pretty much everything was freshly hand-made and homemade. The entire meal has an outstanding balance and you can clearly tell that the cook is a professional and knows her craft. The only drawback is that the side salad would do with a little more variety. But considering the quality of the food, the prices are ridiculously low. I'm looking forward to eating my way through the entire menu in the very near future and hope that the food can maintain this almost shocking level and that I can continue to enjoy the place for years to come.

Went there for the first time by chance. Outdoor area set up like a beach club. Very nice service and delicious food at very fair prices.

The homemade gnochi were very fluffy, unfortunately there was a little bit of sauce and the shrimp were only in pieces. The taste was delicious. Dessert was great.

We thought it was great! The starter salad was huge and the dressing was A1. The main courses were also very tasty and the portions were very large. Value for money is simply great!

Today 10/27/24 everything is dark and there is a small notice on the door saying “temporarily closed” and there are huge mountains of bulky waste in front of the door and on the terrace!!! What does that mean??

This was our first visit to the restaurant. We spontaneously called at 12 p.m. and asked if there were seats available on the terrace. We were only told that the restaurant was only open until 2 p.m. We went there anyway and at 12.40 p.m. there was no one in the restaurant, including no waitress. After about 5 minutes an employee came and told us that the other employees were on break. We sat down on the empty but beautifully situated terrace. The tables weren't particularly clean and didn't really fit in with the rest of the house. Shortly afterwards another employee came and brought us the card. This was different from the menu on the internet. We were told that the online card was only valid for evenings. Unfortunately, this is not clear from the website and the very tasty sounding starters were unfortunately not available. These were one of the reasons for choosing the restaurant. We then each decided on the Caesar salad, one with shrimp and one with fried chicken. The salad was very plentiful, unfortunately the salad lacked the typical spicy sauce with anchovies etc. The prawns were an excellent product, unfortunately overcooked, the fried chicken was fried for far too long and was absolutely dry. Overall we are very disappointed with the visit.

Incredibly delicious. Very good chef and excellent service staff. A thoroughly successful evening. We would love to come back.

Nice restaurant with a beer garden and friendly service, which is a bit chaotic but has a lot of charm. The prices and the food are very good.

If you want a Tk schnitzel for €22, noodles that are way too hard and cheap wine, this is the place for you. It's a shame what has become of the lounge. I used to enjoy going there often, but that has changed since my last visit. Prices are far too overpriced for bad food, and it's not particularly comfortable either. And the Friday parties are no longer there either. So there's no reason for me to come back. Too bad.
