Zaiqa in Oberursel (Taunus)

Today 10/27/24 everything is dark and there is a small notice on the door saying “temporarily closed” and there are huge mountains of bulky waste in front of the door and on the terrace!!! What does that mean??

We were very happy with the food and the service. The new owner has made it much more comfortable. We also think it's great that the restaurant is open all day long.

This was my second time here and I was very satisfied this time too. We sat outside on the terrace. Really clean, quiet and a nice atmosphere. The staff is really attentive and friendly and the food is great! If you want to enjoy authentic Indian food, this is the first stop.

Update after the friendly reply with a request for details: The guest room is modern and chicly furnished, we liked the mix of large window front, light walls and clinker bricks. We sat very comfortably on the padded chairs, the tables were clean and big enough. The selection of dishes is large and comprehensive and the menu is well structured. Our food tasted okay: naan, curries, vegetables, rice very good, the chicken and lamb was a bit tough/fibrous for our taste. The dessert was convincing. Our service was very friendly, but could have been more attentive in small details. The toilets were clean. There were enough public parking spaces in front of the door.

We had a family dinner at Zaiqa and were literally surprised with the flavours of the food we ordered which comes with rice. Starter chicken malai tikka was awesome. Recommend this restaurant for authentic North Indian food.

With a new lineup, we tried out the food and placed an order for delivery. Delivery took about 20 minutes, the gentleman who brought the food was friendly. In terms of quality, the food isn't particularly outstanding and I'm speaking expressly for my personal feelings. Chicken Tikka Masala was ok, but nothing more. The Tandoori Chicken Salad was very dominated by coarse pepper, which you have to like. Olives didn't fit in the salad for me. The price is currently a little lower than the competition in Oberursel, which is certainly intentional at the beginning. We stick with the other two Indian restaurants in Oberursel. But everything is a matter of taste. The new Zaiqa will certainly generate regular guests, all fingers are crossed!

Very tasty food, classics of Indian cuisine plus some original dishes that I haven't seen before. It's great that there is vegan lassi! We ate at the restaurant; the decor is modern and the service is very friendly. Highly recommended!

Finally ZAIQA has a new owner! There's a new menu, the terrace is now open and well-kept and there's finally alcohol! I was here today with my friends and I was really pleasantly surprised! The food tastes great and is authentic. The staff is super nice and accommodating. Really TOP!!! Finally the restaurant is in good hands :)

We spontaneously ate here and were warmly served by the new owners and immediately felt at home. The menu is very appealing and contains the classics of Indian cuisine. We were immediately impressed by the food and we would be happy to come back when we are in the area.

I ordered food on July 31, 2024 and the meat wasn't cooked at all and I called them The man told me I had no idea why and next time you order food we will calculate it I ordered food again after two days The man says that we are others who cook and don't do the work anymore Same number And the same address at Lieferando But things have changed

Best Indian cuisine in the area. Everything well seasoned and freshly prepared. Meat very tender and super juicy. The meat from the tandoori grill is also tender like butter and not rubbery. We are thrilled, thank you very much.

Ordered Tandoori Chicken, one of the best I had here in Germany. No artificial colour to make it red, very flavourful. Would recommend.

There were two of us there today and we had Garlic Naan, Tandoori Chicken and Shahi Chicken (mild). The food was absolutely delicious, especially the tandoori chicken and garlic naan. Very cozy atmosphere and friendly, nice service. We can only recommend :)

Everything I ordered with my family was very tasty (e.g. No. 38 and 39). The recommendation from the owner did not disappoint. The friendly, entertaining owner, who also serves, puts a lot of effort and time into making his guests feel comfortable and receive the best service. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, very chic. Has a good, quiet location. Is family friendly. You feel very welcome.

Das Essen war unglaublich nicht nur für den preiß sondern auch die präsentation war umwerfend. Der Kellner war auch sehr nett und geduldig.Es sah drinen als auch von drausen sehr hübsch aus. Ich empfähle es jeden weiter.

Wir haben online bestellt und liefern lassen. Das Essen kam fix, der Fahrer war super nett und das Essen mega lecker und noch sehr heiß. Außerdem gibt es hier mal Entenfleisch, was ich sonst noch nirgendwo gesehen habe. Mein vegetarisches Gericht enthielt neben Paneer auch Gemüse, was bei anderen Restaurants auch nicht immer der Fall ist. Die Lassis sind auch mega lecker. Allergene werden auch aufgelistet. Wir haben unseren neues Stammrestaurant gefunden.

Lieferung 45 min später als angegeben. Tandoori war nicht gut.

Meine Bestellung bei Zaiqa war nichts weniger als außergewöhnlich. Von dem Moment an, als ich meine Bestellung aufgab, bis zu dem Augenblick, als die aromatischen Speisen an meiner Tür ankamen, war jeder Schritt von hervorragendem Kundenservice und einer spürbaren Leidenschaft für echte indische Küche geprägt. Die Bestellung verlief nahtlos. Das Personal von Zaiqa war unglaublich aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, sie sorgten dafür, dass alle meine Wünsche erfüllt wurden. Die Lieferung kam pünktlich, und das Essen war perfekt verpackt, sodass es bei der Ankunft noch heiß und frisch war. Jetzt zum wichtigsten Teil – dem Essen. Jedes Gericht war eine Symphonie von Aromen und Gewürzen, liebevoll zubereitet und wunderschön präsentiert. Zaiqa hat nicht nur meine Erwartungen erfüllt, sondern sie bei weitem übertroffen. Ihr Engagement für Qualität, authentische Aromen und herausragenden Kundenservice macht sie zu einem Juwel unter den indischen Lieferservices. Ich freue mich schon auf meine nächste Bestellung und kann Zaiqa jedem empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einem echten Geschmackserlebnis ist.

Ein tolles Restaurant mit tollen Mitarbeitern. Ich habe gerade über UberEats bestellt, Bei der App gab es Probleme und der Inhaber des Restaurants Ware extrem freundlich, sodass alles problemlos geklappt hat. Das Essen kam innerhalb von 30 min war warm und sehr lecker. Vielen lieben Dank

Vorab wir haben das Essen bestellt. Ich hätte mir sehr einen guten Inder in der Nähe gewünscht, der auch liefert. Es war leider wirklich nicht sehe gut. Obwohl das Korma besser war als das Butter Chicken, der Reis war tatsächlich ziemlich neutral, was ja gut ist, wenn das Essen besonders würzig ist, leider war das nicht der Fall. Die Soße von Butterchicken war wässrig anstatt cremig und ziemlich lasch. Die Portion war ok. Das Naan war leider ziemlich matschig und gummiartig, auch nicht wie gewohnt. Alles in allem man kann da mal bestellen, aber nicht zuviel erwarten. Muss doch weiter nach Frankfurt fahren...

The food is definitely not authentic. The biryani was more like chicken rice with very little flavour and lesser taste. Tandoori items are a bit better.

Essen war ok, aber nicht überragend - die vielen extrem guten Bewertungen können wir so leider nicht teilen. Preise zu teuer, draußen kann man aufgrund des Straßenlärms nicht gemütlich sitzen.

Visited Zaiqa and was blown away! The Chicken Tandoori was exceptional, and sampling the Achari Murgi and Chicken Biryani was a delight. The Matka Kulfi dessert was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. Exceptional flavors, wonderful ambiance, and top-notch service. Can't recommend enough - 10/10!

Authentic and tasty Indian food, must visit if you are on business or vacation around Oberursel.

Chicken Tikka war sehr lecker, ich werde auch Lahm-Curry empfehlen. Bei den Getränken war Mango Lassi und Limonade sehr gut. Es war ein ausgezeichneter erster Eindruck!

Essen ist sehr teuer und es entspricht nicht der indischen Küche so wie ich es kenne. Chicken Curry war sehr ölig und versalzen, bin mir nicht sicher ob die Leute aus Indien kommen.

Bis jetzt das Beste indische Essen, das wir im Raum Frankfurt/ Taunus gegessen haben. Sehr leckere und authentische Gerichte. Der Service ist exzellent und man wird sehr nett und freundlich empfangen. Fünf Sterne sind zu wenig. Wenn ich könnte, würde ich mehr vergeben! Weiter so!

Wir haben heute das 1. Mal bei Zaiqa bestellt und waren sehr positiv überrascht. Sehr netter Kontakt am Telefon und Beratung. Wir haben Chicken Tikka Masala und Chicken Karachi, Garlic Naan und Salat bestellt. Es dauerte bis zur Lieferung ca. 30 Minuten nach HG. Die zwei Chicken Gerichte waren beide köstlich und authentisch gewürzt (waren schon mehrmals in Indien). Auch das Garlic Naan und der Salat waren sehr lecker. Wir werden definitiv wieder bestellen!
