The food was delicious. I especially recommend the asparagus with boiled potatoes. Finally, decent asparagus that isn't completely overcooked. The service is extremely friendly, and the location is fantastic on the water with a view of the ferry and the lake.

Märkisches Gildehaus Caputh – game dishes with potential, but disappointing execution. The Märkisches Gildehaus in Caputh is in an idyllic location and at first glance promises upscale regional cuisine with a focus on traditional dishes. The expectation is all the greater when game dishes such as deer goulash are on the menu - but unfortunately the food on offer did not live up to this expectation. The deer goulash was disappointing in several respects: there were only five small pieces of deer meat on the plate, accompanied by a very over-seasoned, overly salty sauce. Four small dumplings were served with it - obviously not homemade, but of industrial quality, taste unremarkable. The red cabbage clearly came from the jar and had no freshness or aroma of its own. The accompanying salad with jalapeños and olives seemed completely out of place - a rather Mediterranean composition that neither tastes nor conceptually matches a traditional game dish. The Solyanka couldn't raise the level either. The portion was small, the taste was unbalanced - overall the price-performance ratio was not right. There is untapped potential in the consistent use of regional and seasonal products. Game from local hunts, handmade dumplings, fresh red cabbage from local producers or pickled vegetables from the region could give the dish authenticity, depth of flavor and a clear reference to Brandenburg cuisine. The use of such ingredients not only creates culinary added value, but also strengthens regional value chains and appeals to guests who value sustainability and origin. The service should be highlighted positively: a young employee served us in a friendly, attentive and committed manner. A small but valuable suggestion for improvement: Actively asking whether it was tasty would be a simple way to strengthen guest loyalty and quality control. Conclusion: The Märkisches Gildehaus offers a beautiful environment and friendly service, but disappoints in the kitchen due to a lack of freshness, inconsistent side dishes and an overall unbalanced composition. The use of regional and seasonal products could not only increase the quality of the dishes, but also give the house a culinary profile that is recognizable. Given the prices quoted, more care and regional reference in the kitchen should be a given.

This "snack restaurant" can only shine through excessive prices 💰... 🤦🏼‍♂️... lots of frozen goods... little animals were spotted😬... Snack currywurst etc. should be affordable at the campsite... the snack bar is actually part of it... has been outsourced. There are some really good restaurants in the town of Caputh❗️ Reviews from friends of the "big" boss.... Customer reviews don't seem to matter...

The room with a terrace facing Schwielowsee was great. Very quiet and in the morning we were woken up by the chirping of birds.

A nice place to enjoy a good meal. The game is amazing👍That's how it should taste and the team is just great...we'll be back. Only recommended
