We spontaneously stopped and booked a room to spend the night on the way through...if only we had read the reviews beforehand...The manager is rudeness personified, you are immediately spoken to, service is apparently not valued here, It sometimes smells of cigarette smoke, the room wasn't really clean, we pointed this out when we checked out and it wasn't responded to as we would have expected, at least they gave us a room even though we hadn't booked..... Because of a 4 star hotel, what is the standard here? I would prefer not to give any stars at all, but I just have to share my experience here.

Nice hotel with a great location right on the water (Caputher Gemünde). We had a junior suite with a large terrace. Room was very clean and nicely decorated. We also had breakfast, which costs 20 EUR extra. Served directly at the table and you get everything you want. However, the price is quite high, so it's better to have a buffet. The hotel has a restaurant serving fine cuisine. It was always busy, so it's better to reserve here in advance. All in all a nice hotel, definitely recommended.

Everything was fine. Very good breakfast with very good service. Also in the restaurant very good service and excellent food. However, the PP fees of €15 were a bit strange to us. We are frequent travelers and even on the Baltic Sea in the 4 star hotel in the parking garage we didn't have to pay that much. Too bad, The offers shown on the Internet could not be booked and there was no satisfactory answer for the guests when they asked the hotel. The complete payment of the bill (before we had even parked and seen the room) upon arrival was also incomprehensible to us, Nevertheless, we had a very good time, it is a beautifully located, very clean hotel, but with a strange pricing policy.

The surroundings as well as the hotel are in a great location. Right on the water. The breakfast is good and all the staff are very friendly and you immediately feel warmly welcomed. What we are missing in the room is a fan, because at 30 degrees in the shade it gets quite warm. We had the window open, but the curtain in front of it so that the residents from across the street couldn't see in. So of course little to no cool air came in in the evening/night. I can still recommend it because this hotel can also be booked for one night, which is perfect if you want to explore the surrounding area over two days. Keep it up!

Breakfast on site is very small. TV channels only a very limited selection (no RTL, Cable 1 etc...) Hotel was booked over the phone unfortunately I had to leave 2 days after arrival and had to pay the price for the entire week!

After a hard day of travel, I was very happy and warmly welcomed. The environment is simply great and there is something decent to eat and drink everywhere. The hotel's furnishings are purpose-built and meet a four-star standard. Details have been thought of and I am really satisfied. Price performance is totally fine for this wonderful environment and the wonderful facility of the hotel. With family or alone for vacation or on a business trip you are more likely to find a good hotel

We stayed at the hotel with friends over Ascension Day and felt very welcome from the first minute. The rooms are clean and equipped with a small refrigerator. The hotel is located directly on the Havel. There is a small promenade and no restaurants around. The parking situation is not that easy and costs 15.00 euros per day. The staff is very friendly and warm. The menu is clear, but the quality of the food is top class. We all really enjoyed it and we recommend the hotel with a clear conscience.

Die zwei Sterne sind nur durch die Kooperation mit dem im Haus befindlichen Restaurant "Die Zwillinge" zustande gekommen. Schön direkt an der Havel gelegen mit netten Zimmern hätte es locker für 4 Sterne gereicht. Insgesamt hat mich der Service bzw. Absprachen sehr ärgerlich hinterlassen. Vor Anreise habe ich mit dem Inhaber telefoniert, was eine private Aufbettung für meine Frau kostet, da ich als Dienstreisender unterwegs war. Von der getätigten Aussage in Höhe von 30€ pro Nacht wollte das Personal bei Abreise nichts gewusst haben. (Berechnet wurden 50€ pro Nacht) Leider waren die Inhaber selbst im Urlaub und konnten zur Klärung nichts beitragen. So wurde ich darauf verwiesen nach dem Urlaub nochmal schriftlich Kontakt aufzunehmen. Meine höfliche Anfrage blieb zunächst unbeantwortet. Nach weiteren 3 Wochen und erneut höflicher Anfrage wurde in einem lapidaren 1-Zeiler erklärt, es koste nun mal soviel wie auf der Rechnung ausgewiesen. Zusammenfassend sehr enttäuschend. Fühle mich sogar vorsätzlich getäuscht. Die Summe ist hier für mich nicht das Entscheidende, sondern Art und Weise. Für mich kein seriöses Geschäftsgebaren und daher nicht zu empfehlen.
