The Schwälbxhen is a real blast! Super delicious and hot food in portions that are impossible to finish—even when you're hungry. The service is warm and direct ;-). In late summer, you wouldn't expect a Christmas tablecloth, so it loses one star. The location is top-notch—easy access to the eastern and western Berlin Ring roads. Tip: make a reservation. On weekends, the Schwälbchen was packed inside and out. We'd love to come back.

A lovely little restaurant in a quiet spot in Ferch. They serve German cuisine. The portions are very large, but you can pack up leftovers and take them home. The value for money is definitely good. The ambiance is a bit dated. Parking is available on the side of the road.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise vom Flughafen nach Hause und wollten schnell was „kleines“ essen. Wurden mit sehr liebevoll angerichteten Portionen welche mehr als reichlich waren überrascht. Der Wirt war trotz vollem Lokal freundlich und zu schärzen aufgelegt. Wir können dieses Lokal nur weiterempfehlen. Reservierung zu empfehlen.

Good, home-style cooking. We've been there several times and had the trout. Truly delicious! The portions are huge. You can easily share a dish or take some home for the next few days. I've never experienced portions like that in Germany. Truly crazy! The owner is a funny old-school guy, and anyone who knows and appreciates East German humor will feel right at home here. We'd love to come back with our dogs and family ☺️

The double espresso cost 7 euros, which surprised us because everywhere else it cost a maximum of 5 euros.

My boyfriend had misplaced his wallet, and when I called to see if it was still there, the manager immediately checked and even went all the way to the car. We found this restaurant through Google because we wanted to eat German cuisine (in Berlin, you can get everything except German food, or hardly any). So we headed from Berlin Lankwitz to Schwielowsee, and we didn't regret a minute of it. The food was delicious and the portions were truly generous. The service was super fun, warm, and attentive. A quaint restaurant with a relaxed innkeeper. The portions are very large. I like to eat more, but I had to give in to the delicious pork knuckle. Wasn't manageable. We like to eat at Schwalbchen. Food is simply great, like at Muddern. But you have to know that the portions are very large. But no problem, if you can't manage it, you're welcome to take it with you.

I eat here every time I'm in the area and I definitely have to come back! 😍 The service is simply wonderful & honest. Friendly and hardworking. But I could imagine that some people don't see it that way. But I like it! You shouldn't expect much from the ambience, but it's still cozy. There aren't a lot of seats inside and there is a nice terrace in the summer. Thank you very much for everything, dear Schwälbchen, because it is always a great pleasure for me!
