Unfortunately disappointing this time We chose this restaurant for a small celebration with 12 people because we really appreciated it because of the appealing, seasonally changing menu, the cozy atmosphere and good experiences so far. Unfortunately, our visit yesterday was a bitter disappointment. Unfortunately, the yellow lentil curry that I ordered was not convincing: the tempeh was burnt, the Brussels sprouts were about to burn, the presentation of the dish was careless/a decorative garnish was completely missing. When it was cleared away, no one asked why the tempeh remained untouched on the plate. I raised the problem myself, but there was no response from service or the kitchen. Only when I asked did I find out that the chef was sorry - that's not enough for a restaurant in this price range. Two of our guests who ordered "roasted saddle of venison, medium" were also dissatisfied because the meat was tough. Unfortunately, the pink fried beef fillets of two guests also fell short of expectations. What should be highlighted positively is that the majority of guests who chose traditional dishes such as duck or roulade were very satisfied with the taste and appearance. These dishes were excellently prepared. The desserts, walnut ice cream and sorbet, were delicious. The drink service was impeccable. Despite these bright spots, the evening left a bad aftertaste, especially because the restaurant is in the upper price segment and enjoys a very good reputation. We've always enjoyed choosing this place for special occasions, but after this experience I'm unsure whether it will continue to be my first choice for celebrations.

So I was there on Thursday November 7th, 2024. It was already relatively late in the evening. When I walked into the bistro I was immediately warmly welcomed. The full selection of the entire menu was still available late in the evening. As always, I ordered fried noodles with baked chicken and crispy duck with peanut sauce, vegetables and rice. Both were prepared very quickly and well. And also quite cheap. On top of that I got a portion of doner meat. In total I paid around €20. I still left a good tip. On the whole, I am completely and satisfied with the An Tam Bistro... A big compliment to the staff who are responsible no matter what, are always extremely friendly...☺️☀️ I will definitely come back.

A nice looking restaurant in the Spreewald in a recreation area. The dishes on the menu are the most beautiful and delicious. I ordered turkey with tagliatelle and chanterelle sauce from the autumn fair. Also a chanterelle soup as a starter. The soup was not set. Totally watery in consistency and taste. I also recommend frozen or canned chanterelles. At least not fresh. And €6 for that?? For the main course: the turkey meat was drier than the Gobi desert. The pasta was probably pre-cooked and then left in the hotplate for too long! Absolutely mushy! The sauce tasteless. Here again, old or frozen chanterelles. Total price for 2 lunches for 2 people just under €80 for poor quality food and high prices. Absolutely not recommended.
