As always, a delight! The schnitzels are freshly prepared and the staff is friendly.

Unfortunately, the staff overlooked us, even though all the other guests had already been served or were eating. After about 12 minutes, we left the restaurant with a sincere "thank you." What a pity.

Very good food, and the price-performance ratio is still good here. The decor is dated, and the oak is rustic. But that seems to be the intention, and the cinema next door also fits in with the retro feel. While the films aren't the latest, the prices here are still reasonable.

My friend and I treated my father and his wife to a Whitsun weekend for their birthday. The friendly service made us feel immediately welcome and we were delighted. Questions were answered promptly and with charm. The food was of very good quality and the portions were very generous. We were all delighted and went back for dinner the next day. The waitress even played along with a joke and helped ensure my father didn't notice. The surprise was a success and resulted in a shared laugh. We'd love to go back!

I highly recommend this place. The food is good, and the staff is friendly and competent. Five of us spontaneously went there today to eat, and everyone was very satisfied. The portions are generous and the value is very good. We'll be happy to come back.

We visited the Kino Klause in Lübben three days ago. We chose the restaurant more or less at random, as we just wanted a bite to eat. We had already visited the Italian restaurant nearby last year, but the food there was not tasty at all. So we thought we might like some good, home-style cooking. The service was a bit witty and a bit friendly, and had exactly our sense of humor. We had the following dishes: a Steak of Four, a schnitzel with letcho and fried potatoes, a portion of braised cucumbers with horseradish and dill sauce, and a seasoned meat dish. We all enjoyed the food down to the last bite. The chef is extremely knowledgeable, and it tasted just like we're used to when we prepare it at home. The ingredients were all fresh; the letcho wasn't from a jar; it was homemade. The fried potatoes were also amazing. The meat in my Steak of Four was super tender, not tough and overcooked like in some other restaurants. If we ever find ourselves back in Lübben, we will definitely visit this restaurant again. The prices are also very reasonable. Dogs are also welcome, both inside and outside. We would like to thank Suse, Andrea, and Sandra, plus our dog, Aiko, and Bela, for the excellent food and the friendly service.

All good on the outside, all bad on the inside, and of course no card payments, so the tax return isn't so difficult anymore.

Wonderful food and great service...went to Spreelectro Essen before the shift and it was TOP! Rarely have I had such good fried potatoes and schnitzel!!!

My review may be very subjective. I've known the Kino Café since my earliest childhood, and my children have known it forever, too. Across all generations, there was and still is a superb farmer's breakfast. Overall, the food is really good, honest, home-style cooking. The service has always been prim and totally friendly—just like we people here. Some people might not understand that. If you're in Lübben and want good, hearty food, along with a proper Potsdamer, this is the place for you.

As a foreigner you stand out a bit here, this is where the locals meet. The portions are designed for hearty home cooking, large, tasty and affordable. This is how you like to go out to eat. My only problem: As a vegetarian, you won't find anything on the menu at first. But it wasn't a problem, with the friendly service we were able to put something together for me. A photo of it is attached. For those who are seriously bothered by the chalk sign in the entrance area: Of course the waitress should be nice to their guests, but it is just as obvious that it should be the other way around. "As it resounds into the forest, so it resounds out." We enjoyed being here and can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.

Hello. We went there to dine on the first Advent of 2024. Half the duck tasted wonderful. My companion each had a schnitzel with side dishes. Large portion and very good too. I can only recommend it. Price/performance is ok these days.

Most of the time it doesn't work here without a reservation, that speaks for itself, so we got the last free table (without a reservation). What the food is like, I have no idea, we didn't get that far. It was more important for the innkeeper to do something than to greet us. After a guest told us we could sit down, the host made an incomprehensible hand gesture, no idea what he wanted. They could have spoken to us. It seems that someone doesn't want to make any money.

The Kinoklause is beautifully located on the edge of the town center. The service is relaxed - but in a friendly way. The cooking there is certainly not of the highest standard, but who misses that? Here you will find rustic, tasty food with a regional twist. The portions are for the generous hunger, you'll really feel full! All in all, a decent, good price-performance ratio! PS: The house beer goes great with the food!

We had reserved a table. The food was served in a reasonable time, the portions were very large and it tasted great. Unfortunately we couldn't sit outside and it was very warm/stuffy inside.

Great value for money and the schnitzels taste really great too. An insider tip due to its inconspicuousness. The only drawback, apart from the ambience, is that payment is only possible in cash. Otherwise it is really recommended.

Here is a restaurant in a touristic area with good amount of seating indoors and outdoors, but.. they are all reserved for some imaginary guests coming hours later (according to staff)! Not allowed to be seated even for a quick meal despite of assurances we will leave before the reservation arrives.. Nein! Thankfully plenty of other restaurants nearby with better hospitality! Out of curiosity, I passed by to check their ‘busy’ reserved seating later and they were still empty.. I hope they remain that way every day! Food looked ok from the photos so I gave them 3 stars for the good studio shots!

We've actually always been a KC fan. Unfortunately, the female waitress only cares about throwing herself at male guests. It all seems very ordinary, even the waiter only had eyes for my girlfriend's cleavage. Apparently the boss tolerated it well, which was probably good for sales. The only good thing was the food, the chef is great!

Price performance for the food is great. Everything is freshly prepared. The staff is always very nice and attentive. If you are planning a visit, a reservation is recommended. But even if it was spontaneous, we still got a seat, even if we could sit at someone else's table. So we started talking right away and it never got boring. There is also something for children to paint. The restaurant is small and is a starting point for football enthusiasts. Very idyllic in the beer garden despite being on the street. TOP, we can only recommend it

Very nice service, the schnitzels are huge, but not outstanding either. The wines are so-so. Our visit was marred by a group of young men celebrating on "Men's Day". But the owners couldn't do anything about it.

I really enjoyed freshly prepared asparagus (500g) with breadcrumbs roasted in melted butter and parsley potatoes. As a small Spreewald greeting, there was sweet and sour cucumber salad on the plate and everything together for less than €20. 😋
