People were nice, but the food and place itself were quite the opposite. I don’t know how some people rate this pizza 5-stars, maybe they’re used to eating only frozen pizzas, but the dough, if you can even call it that, was the cheap perforated pre-made dough you find in frozen pizzas. It has no flavor and no bubbles, it’s completely flat and solid, making me think they also didn’t use any yeast. The toppings taste bland and are very greasy, also just way too much of it on the pizza.
The place itself looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Old menus laminated in plastic with a layer of grease, and same for the salt and pepper shakers and the walls. It’s not like they’re super busy either when I went so there’s time to do these clean-ups.
I really wanted to like the food, because as I mentioned previously the people were very nice, but unfortunately this has to be by far the worst pizza I’ve had in my life. 2 Stars for friendliness and service.
This little insider tip is just the thing for a special evening. Daniel (owner and chef) is super friendly, and you can immediately tell his passion for his food. He takes plenty of time to offer personalized advice. Each dish is unique and could easily have come from a Michelin-starred restaurant. He also offers the perfect wine recommendation. The food is then prepared fresh and live. I've rarely eaten anything so delicious. I think the restaurant is perfect for both a special occasion and a truly delicious dinner, and I'll definitely be back!
We were very satisfied there in 2023 and therefore wanted to go back this time.
Listed on Google with the known opening times, we make our way there and find older pieces of paper on the closed bar with the information:
“Closed for health reasons”
The Vietnamese restaurant deserves the highest recommendation. The food is served quickly, fresh and hot, is characterized by excellent taste and is accompanied by free green tea. The service is friendly and the prices are fair. Only the ambience leaves something to be desired due to the location. Nevertheless, I give it 5 out of 5 stars.
The Market is the breakfast restaurant at the Hotel JW Marriott. Large buffet selection, including an omelet and egg station. Huge selection of cheeses and yoghurts. Everything your heart desires for breakfast. Large rooms so you have plenty of space. Great service, very friendly and quick. A very pleasant atmosphere for breakfast. The motto for breakfast: Less is more because everything is there…..Simply wonderful….
