Excellent inn, I personally really enjoyed it.
We went there for the first time on the recommendation of friends, and we were not disappointed.
It was our first time there, and everything from the food to the ambiance was great.
Very friendly staff, very accommodating.
Would come back anytime.
Very loud and lots of drunk people. Beer was OK but nothing to write home about. Took forever to be served in a self service way. Bit of a take it or leave it affair.
Last night (Saturday) at 11:20 p.m. I wanted to have a nightcap before going home. I drove here especially from the city. According to the website, Herr&Kaiser is open until 1:00 a.m. When we came in the place was still very full. We were immediately told that the last round had already been served. We explained that we just wanted one more drink and that according to the internet the bar was open until 1:00 am. It was then emphasized again very bluntly that the last round had already been served and we would not get anything more. In addition, the cash register would already have been settled.
It's really a shame because I always enjoyed visiting the restaurant. However, the manner was not particularly hospitable and I will consider visiting again and recommending it to friends.
Although we were a bit skeptical at first... we absolutely don't regret visiting Eddy's Bodega.
A reservation for eight people was possible at short notice. The food was excellent. We've rarely enjoyed such well-prepared food. The service was very attentive, and it's easy to strike up a conversation with locals and guests at the bar. If we're ever in Bad Wiessee again, a visit to Eddy's Bodega will definitely be on our itinerary.
...unfortunately we were in a dark side room (more like a disco than a restaurant) where we couldn't really see the menu or the food... it's a shame because it tasted delicious! The service was tried hard but not really understandable... Conclusion: good cuisine, ambience too desired
I ordered & picked up today. Unfortunately, it wasn't a particularly great experience either, from the high price (even higher at Lieferando than locally, but even there they have different and outdated prices and you never really know exactly how much it costs) to the long waiting time to the raw vegetables in the curry 🥹 it's a shame, I used to like it too
Our visit this time was preceded by a previous one, both of which can be described as “mixed”!
We were happy to give this a second chance because the food is great and the value for money is absolutely right!
First of all: the food was great on both visits, and the quality of the food was also impeccable, really! But service and “drum-rum” are rather inconsistent!
We made reservations in advance by phone and the interaction was friendly and warm. The two of us arrived at Weitblick at the agreed time, the restaurant was well attended at that time.
We were hectically allocated a table ("the one over there") and we happily took a seat with (still good) optimism. From that moment on we didn't see anyone from the service for a full 25(!) minutes! No menus were brought and no drink requests were accepted! 25 minutes long! Unfortunately, we also noticed that guests who arrived significantly later received a card and drinks promptly. The whole thing is incomprehensible!
Just as we decided to leave the restaurant, cards were hectically brought and drinks were taken. From that moment on the “machinery” worked
Drinks arrived, the soup we ordered was really good and shortly afterwards the main courses with side dishes. Everything is consistent. The steak was roughly English (as ordered) so plus/minus... Within the scope of possibilities.
Cordon Bleu was great and salads were great too!
It took a long time to clear the plates and unfortunately also until we could pay! A lot of time has passed!
We like the food but what's around it isn't fully represented here, unfortunately!
