Ich wollte für 6 Personen einen Tisch reservieren und rief an. leider wurde ich auf ein Handy umgeleitet. Auf dessen Anrufbeantworter hinterließ ich die Reservierung mit Telefonnummer. Da ich nichts hörte versuchte ich es am nächsten Tag noch 3 mal. Das gleich3e Spiel. Also fuhr ich abends hin um nachzufragen, ob der Tisch auch wirklich reserviert wäre. Aber da war die Gaststätte dunkel und geschlossen. Zum Glück konnte ich am gleichen Abend für den nächsten Tag woanders noch reservieren. Deshalb kann ich über das Essen nichts sagen.

Everything was great here, a service that you rarely see in large inns. And the food was mom live. We are rarely in Bavaria with our grandchildren. Anyone who knows grandma and grandpa could come even more rarely. You can transfer money. See you soon.

Hello, we were in the restaurant on June 27th, 2024, sitting outside, 6 p.m., in good weather. The umbrellas have already had the best time. Drinks and food came relatively quickly. Nothing special in terms of taste, e.g. B. the sausage on the grill plate from a discount store. What really disturbed me was that every plate was chipped/damaged, something like that should be thrown away. The menu is as clear as the presentation of the dishes. There is still a lot of room for improvement. The service was nice and tidy, but you didn't feel like taking the empty plates off the table after eating.

I can only recommend the food there to be very tasty!!!

Re-opening with new tenants on May 1, 2024. Quiet and secluded restaurant with two beer gardens, one in front and one behind the house. Unfortunately no card payment possible! The food tasted good and so did the portion. Parmesan was only added to the pasta upon request. Prices too high for the location.

Waldwirtschaft Landsberg Sandau is a hidden gem nestled in a small forest on the outskirts of Landsberg am Lech. Easily accessible by car, it is conveniently located near a main road, close to the autobahn, and adjacent to a beautiful historic town. Despite being relatively hidden, this restaurant is a popular stop for hikers exploring the surrounding nature, making it a beloved spot among locals and first-time visitors alike. The restaurant features a cozy indoor dining area, beautifully decorated with traditional German wooden elements. In addition, there is a summer terrace with a variety of table sizes, accommodating both families and couples who wish to enjoy the natural surroundings. Although the menu is not extensive, it offers everything you need for a pleasant, short stop. Lunch and dinner hours are the busiest, in my experience. I was pleasantly surprised to find Balkan cuisine on the menu. The food was delicious and generously portioned, leaving me fully satisfied. The location and atmosphere of this place are truly delightful. If you are in the area and looking for a nice walk, I highly recommend this charming restaurant.

My husband, our two children and I wanted to try the "new" restaurant today. The rooms don't look particularly inviting, the menus: simply sheets printed out on the printer in a clipboard, where one sheet was missing from three of the four "menu cards". After we decided on dishes from the menu, we wanted to order. My son ordered pepperoni pizza - the waiter yells into the kitchen asking if they have pizza. The answer was not today (although it wasn't on the card). My son then had to take something else. And decided on a breaded schnitzel with hunter's sauce. My daughter ordered the roast pork that was on the menu - that wasn't available either. So she took the same thing as my son. That alone was borderline. But we blamed that on initial difficulties and that wouldn't have stopped us from coming back if the food had been good. The salad, which only three of us got at first (which we didn't want to complain about) and our daughter only received a few minutes later, tasted good. But then I had smaller grains of sand on my teeth, thought to myself "it can happen" and took the next bite, where I already clearly had sand on my teeth. I spat everything out and left it. My food arrived: pollock with fried potatoes. The fish looked like it came from a ready-made package, obviously fried too hot, because it was dark on the outside and still very slimy on the inside. A third of the fried potatoes were really black!!! To save the situation, my husband ate a few because he sometimes likes something darkly fried, but he couldn't have eaten some of them either and we left them behind. The waiter saw it and didn't react. Based on the reviews here and descriptions of staff's abusive responses to complaints, I'm glad I didn't address this directly. My children thought their schnitzel was too salty - since I wasn't full from my meal, I used half of my daughter's schnitzel - the breading was actually a bit oversalted, the meat was nice and pink, but could have used a little more pounding. The hunter's sauce with champions tasted like instant powder. Overall, a disaster. We've rarely eaten so badly.

Five of us went to the forestry in Sandau on Sunday. The service was very courteous and friendly. The food was excellent. We were all thrilled. The quality of the food is high and the portions are more than sufficient. We can recommend this restaurant without reservation.

Sorry guys, but I was very disappointed! You could eat the food, but it wasn't a delicacy, and the salads were forgotten 🙁 although they were charged, I'd like to be fair. Actually a nice location, you could do a lot with it if you cook better and the waiters don't look like they just got up from the couch. The outdoor areas could also do with some maintenance, and then the ambience would also be fine. There is a lot of room for improvement!

New host - were excited. Super nice operator. Unfortunately the “worst” Croatian where I ate from Kaufbeuren, Buchloe and Landsberg across national borders. Few side dishes, small salad, generally small portions and hardly any choice (except for the burger). Unfortunately, what I normally like to eat wasn't available. I think you will have to adapt to the Croatian competition (which usually also offers stone oven pizza) if you want to convince customers to visit again after “trying it out”. A receipt for entertainment could also save you trouble with the tax office (the one with the beer mat is nice, but...) The boys definitely have courage. There is still a lot of room for improvement. We are also happy to offer simple dishes (fried potatoes, spaetzle, etc.), but they are filling. I also paid more than the competition.

We were here a few days after the reopening with a group of 6 people. The food not only looked good, but was also very tasty! The service was very nice, a little chaotic here and there, but that will definitely settle down with routine. Highly Recommended! 😊

We were like the lady who gave the review before me (except for the lack of insults). After almost two hours we left the “restaurant” without ever seeing any food. We had already waited almost an hour for the drinks and the additional order for two cyclists and a water didn't reach the 10 meters from the table to the counter... Unfortunately I can't judge the quality of the food, only the service. And unfortunately it was underground. It's a shame, because the beer garden would be really nice and a nice spot, especially in summer! I hope that the tenants get their management in service and kitchen together...

We went for dinner in the evening on the opening day. It was clear that no one had expected such a rush and that not everything was running smoothly. We therefore fully understood that it took a little longer. The new innkeepers were still very friendly and the food was very tasty. We are happy to give the new team a few days to adjust to the new environment.

I was in the forestry business on May 4th, 2024 with 7 people, we were greeted very nicely by the new tenants. When we made our reservation by phone, we were warned that there might be waiting times because the food was freshly prepared, which is a good sign. After we all sat down, everything actually happened very quickly. Drinks were brought immediately and shortly afterwards the really delicious food was there. Each of us had ordered something different, so across the menu and everything tasted excellent!!!!! My wife and I had the grill plate for two people, everything was absolutely delicious and not too little!!!! With the best will in the world, how did they not manage to eat everything? We were offered to take the rest with us, which is something you don't often see, great. Milan, our waiter that evening, gave us a bottle of champagne on the house because he noticed that it was my girlfriend's birthday! Thanks again Milan!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a really fun evening with him!!!! We will definitely come back because everything was really fine!!!! Thanks to the entire forestry team, you're great!

The food was super tasty and very large portions. The family was very accommodating and polite and our waiter was very hardworking! Definitely coming back!

We were there for my grandma's 91st birthday when it opened. We were a larger company and they were completely overwhelmed. It was questionable for me that a new opening would be understaffed. Because I would personally mobilize my family and friends for such an event. The staff was completely overwhelmed by the number of guests, so apart from the initial order, new orders for drinks were never taken at the tables. We always ordered them at the counter ourselves, otherwise we probably wouldn't have gotten anything at all. The food was also pure chaos. We got the food after over 2 hours. When we asked, we received statements like, “It’s coming soon,” “It’ll be ready in 10 minutes” (it wasn’t the case), “It’s already on the grill.” After waiting for over an hour, we put pressure on at least the children to get fries quickly. I would also say that they were in the deep fryer for too long. After a couple who came 1.5 hours after us got their food before us and we confronted them about it, they said: “The kitchen is overwhelmed, so they processed the small, quick dishes and pushed the big ones back. When the food came after more than 2 hours of waiting, we had to see the chaos live on the table. Fried potatoes were swimming in fat and half of the platters were missing (e.g. the meatball that was supposed to have sheep's cheese in it had nothing in it, all of the pork was missing, salad was given out without dressing) and that spread across the entire order. At least at the end they apologized for the chaos and we had ouzo, espresso and ice cream on the house for the children. Still, it was a very miserable 91st birthday for my grandma. I will definitely not go there again. It's a real shame because the economy is a great location.

Today the economy has changed hands. We were 4 adults and 2 children. We are all at the shooting club next door and wanted to try out the new restaurant. Of course, we understand that on the first day of the opening when there is a lot going on, food may take longer. However, we have experienced incredible things and there is no coming back for us. The order was taken, we waited about 1 1/2 hours until we asked when our food would come. Then there was no answer. A little later we asked again until the waitress said that the order hadn't reached the kitchen. A table opposite us sat there for 10 minutes and they got food for the children straight away. The waitress didn't come to our table to take the order again or apologize for what had happened. I then went in and explained the situation to the boss. This guy angrily got up from his table and snapped at me asking if *he should kill himself because of it, that's just how it is*. More sentences followed. The waitress was standing nearby and both felt they had to protest instead of apologizing and taking the food as they should have done and saying the drinks or dessert were on the house. I then told the boss that it was not appropriate to treat his customer like that and that we would leave now. Shortly afterwards, a woman (from the kitchen) came out onto the terrace angrily and shouted loudly about how outrageous it all was and ranted for 5 minutes. We were so shocked that we will certainly not set foot in the economy again.

We were there today for the reopening. It started with the fact that we had to wait 40 minutes before we could even order. Often there were no waiters or waitresses in sight for several minutes. After two hours the food came. We would have three dishes: There was a hair in the pollack fillet. Vegan Burger: The bread was very dry. The fries were also very hard, probably fried for too long. The citizen patty was burnt and apart from the patty there was only a stalk of iceberg lettuce and a dollop of ketchup and a dollop of mayonnaise on the citizen. Overall very dry. The house burger (€16.50) consisted only of the same bread and an over-salted cevapcici patty. We couldn't find a sauce. Neither on the burger nor with the unsalted fries. Overall, the mood among both the other guests and the staff was very tense. The highlight was the cook, who was first heard cursing from the kitchen and later shouted insults at the guests. Overall we had a very bad experience with the restaurant and would not recommend it.

Very cozy restaurant, the attentive and friendly service is always in a good mood. The roasted duck with red cabbage and potato dumplings is a poem.

Very good food, nice menu, but impossible service. At our birthday party we ordered, among other things, 4 onion roasts from the rump and one from the loin (6 euros more expensive), once with a side salad. What came was 1x hip and 4x loin and no salad. We complained about it straight away, which was dismissed as irrelevant. When we paid, all the more expensive dishes and the salad were on the bill: what we had to pay for, after all, was what we had but didn't order - without a word of apology. Bad!

Ich habe selten in einem Restaurant so einen frischen, knackigen und gut angemachten großen Salatteller gegessen. Auch die Qualität des Fleisches und des Burger sind einfach Spitze! Hier werden wir wiederkommen! Es lohnt sich. Denn auch der Service ist perfekt!

Perfect steak, top food. There is also fish. And lots of choice for vegans. It doesn't always have to be meat. Personally, I would like a little more choice when it comes to wine. However, this is not a wine bar either. The wine that is available is good. Something for everyone. We'd love to come back.

We had a business lunch at the forestry. Sandau has a nice and varied menu, there is something for every taste. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and rustic. It is discreetly and beautifully decorated for Christmas. We felt very comfortable. Next to the restaurant there is a shooting range, so there is also a lot of club activity. The staff is very friendly and the service is good. We were all very satisfied with the taste. Fish, beef, salad and various side dishes gave us a good impression of the quality. Everything was beautifully presented and appropriate in quantity. The toilets are very clean and there are enough parking spaces. Sandau is located approx. 2 km outside of the Mutterturm in Landsberg am Lech and is easy to reach. We can recommend Waldwirtschaft and wish the motivated team continued success. Essen war sehr gut! Preise etwas gehoben aber frisch und schön auf dem Teller angerichtet. Die Portionen sind ausreichend und zum satt werden. Das Personal freundlich und schaut ob alles in Ordnung ist. Waren insgesamt 6 Personen und bekamen gleichzeitig unser Essen! Wir hatten zwei Hunde dabei, die Tiere bekamen ohne Nachfrage eine Schüssel Wasser, bevor unsere Getränke Bestellung abgefragt wurde. Gefiel uns gut! Fazit gerne wieder....der einzige Punkt Abzug sind die Tiergeweihe an der Wand, aber gut ist Geschmackssache.

Service war in Ordnung, aber als ich die Chefin des Hauses nach einem Digestif fragte und wissen wollte, welche Marke die Obstbrände sind, wurde mir gesagt: ‚Das weiß ich nicht, ich trinke keinen Schnaps!‘ Kein Angebot nachzusehen oder mir die Flaschen zu zeigen. Fand ich originell 🫣 Ich hatte geschmorte Rinderbacken, die von der Fleischqualität gut waren, aber die Soße völlig geschmacksneutral. Wie man das bei einem solchen Schmorgericht schafft, ist nur ein Rätsel. Die Spätzle waren viel zu weich und mehlig. Nach einer Wiederholung schreit das leider nicht….

Freundliche Bedienung, leckere Speisen, auch ein tolles veganes und vegetarisches Angebot, eigene Fischzucht, gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen, barrierefrei, Kiesparkplatz, Toiletten ebenerdig, gerne wieder!

Heute zum ersten Mal, aber sicher nicht das letzte Mal dort gegessen. Die Forelle war nicht nur von der Größe her riesig, perfekt gegart und frischer gehts nicht, ein Genuß. Pommes reichten an die hochgelobten Holländischen heran und Salat und Grillteller waren einfach sehr gut. Aufmerksam und freundlich die netten Servicekräfte. Der kleine Abstecher außerhalb Landsbergs, war ein rundherum gelungener Abend.

Der Biergarten ist gemütlich, die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Das Essen Megalecker, selbstgemachte Spätzle, leckere Bratensaucen, Steak auf dem Punkt gebraten, krackiges Gemüse....so wie man es sich wünscht! Die Wirtin sehr freundlich, geht gerne von Tisch zu Tisch! Dickes Lob, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!

Auch ohne Reservierung(Internetverbindung war defekt) einen Platz im Garten bekommen.

Ich war zum ersten Mal an diesem "verlassenen Ort". Man muss sich dorthin schon verirren - oder Ortskundig sein :-). Anfangs war ich etwas irritiert aufgrund der zusammengebastelten Bude. Aber das Essen war richtig gut und der Service außerordentlich freundlich. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Habe hier nichts gegessen, war nur auf Vereinsebene dort. Hat mir aber gut gefallen.

gut bürgerliches Restaurant mit leckerem Fisch und Fleischgerichten. Die Bedienung ist nett und immer schnell zur Stelle. Egal ob zum Mittagstisch oder am Abend als Paar oder Familie, hier findet jeder was passendes. Das Ambiente ist wirklich schön. Vor allem im Sommer im Biergarten.

Sehr schön gelegener Biergarten, abseits vom Trubel und kühl im Hochsommer. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und der Wurstsalat okay. Ich würde ihn lediglich nicht mit Leberkäse machen 🤷🏻‍♂️

Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen sieht nicht nur beim servieren toll aus, sondern schmeckt auch ausgezeichnet. Die Atmosphäre in der Wirtschaft ist sehr urig rustikal, was gut zur bayrisch bäuerlichen Küche passt.

Sehr, sehr gutes Essen, gemütliches Ambiente. Vielleicht ein blöder Zufall aber... Leider sind kleine Kinder nach unserer Erfahrung nicht sehr willkommen aber Hunde umso mehr!? Wir wurden gebeten, die Kinder nicht durch die Wirtschaft gehen zu lassen. (nicht gerannt!!) Damit sich die anderen Gäste, an den 3 besetzten Tischen, nicht gestört fühlen. Dies haben wir auch verstanden und die Kinder sind brav sitzen geblieben. Andererseits am gleichen abend, wollten sich 3 große Hunde der anderen Gäste angehen (alle Tische besetzt) und sie haben wirklich sehr laut und lange die ganze Wirtschaft zusammen gebellt. Der Hund wurde dann von der Wirtin Persönlich zu Tisch geführt, unter protest des Hundes. Wir haben selber einen Hund und es hätte uns auch nicht gestört, wären vorher nicht die Kinder ermahnt worden, als wirklich nur 3 Tische besetzt waren. Sie waren leise und haben niemanden gestört! Das hat leider einen "Faden Beigeschmack" hinterlassen und hat uns etwas traurig gemacht, da es sonst wirklich ein schöner Abend war. Wir gehen immer mit den Kindern zum Essen, da sie brav, ruhig und wohlerzogen sind aber solche Unterschiede gehen gar nicht.

Dez. 2022 Tolles Essen und schnelle aufmerksame Bedienung! In meinem Fall einem Schnitzel "Wiener Art" knusprig, serviert mit einem extrem schmackhaften Kartoffelsalat und Preiselbeeren. Eine Erwachsenenportion zum satt werden, für unglaubliche 15,90 Euro. Aber auch die Ochsenbacken meines Sohnes waren sehr gut. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Mit Familie auf der Durchreise, Halt hat sich gelohnt. Fisch kommt direkt aus der Nachbarschaft, auch viele vegane Gerichte auf der Karte
