Nice location with very nice employees. Food was good, but unfortunately there was a lack of pumpkin seed oil in the beef salad WITH pumpkin seed oil.

We went for an early dinner on a hot Saturday. My roast veal with gorgonzola noodles was perfect, the best meal of our two-week vacation, and at a very fair price. The waiter also knew his trade - seasoned with a good dose of humor. This is how you like to eat out. Ursula

Hi all! I was lucky enough to visit this wonderful establishment during abnormal heat. The staff kindly served me some unrivaled lager and gave me their beer mug, which I originally wanted to buy! My joy knows no bounds, I send them every possible number of stars for such responsiveness!

We have been in Landsberg to visit relatives for 2 years in a row. Last year we happened to be in the “Hospital” and were thrilled. Dedicated, friendly service, delicious food, very tasty beer. 😉 This year we specifically went to the "Hospital" and were very happy that we found the same, friendly team and were able to eat and drink delicious food again. Thank you very much! We hope we can come back soon!

It's rare to find that nowadays, such a nice waiter (Eddie) who still responds to the guests even when the restaurant is busy. He understands fun and exudes joy in his work. The food is highly recommended throughout. We'll come back when we're in Landsberg.

A very friendly service served us an excellent meal. Everything was just right - roast to medium rare with great meat quality and the side dishes were also top notch. We would like to eat there more often.

I ended up at the tavern on Spitalplatz with a friend by chance and it couldn't have been better! A small, beautiful menu (which speaks for quality rather than quantity), well structured with appropriate wine recommendations. Already top! The service was GREAT, we were made aware of the separate dishes, we always had something to drink and were well looked after. Thank you for that! The food itself was super delicious. The onion roast was on point, the fried potatoes with bacon were a dream. For dessert there was Kaiserschmarren, which was in no way inferior to the main course, quite the opposite. Overall: price, performance, ambience top! As I said, I stumbled upon it for the first time by chance and was completely convinced. We'd love to come back!

Das Restaurant ist schön gelegen am Spitalplatz, große Terrasse. Mit dem Essen waren wir nicht so ganz zufrieden: Das Kalbsgulasch war nur lauwarm , bestand nicht nur aus schierem Fleisch, sondern hatte auch einen Anteil Knorpel, Sehnen und Gezetter, das Dressing des Salats war zu sauer. Der offne Chardonnay war gut, die Bedienung korrekt

The restaurant is beautifully located on Spitalplatz, large terrace. We weren't entirely satisfied with the food: the veal goulash was only lukewarm, consisted not only of pure meat, but also had a portion of cartilage, tendons and tangles, and the salad dressing was too sour. The open Chardonnay was good, the service was correct

The service was excellent. We received excellent advice. We had Maultaschen soup as a starter and onion roast. Both were very specially seasoned but I personally liked it very much. Everything was freshly prepared in the kitchen so the meat was cooked to perfection.

The time is 2 PM on Saturday. There was only one stressed out overworked waitress. She immediately stopped my husband asking what he needs. I said we have a party of 4 including 2 kids and would like to be seated. She spoke back to us in German. I am not ignorant and don’t expect people to necessarily always know English, and I wish I knew German, but this is a touristy town and she made zero attempt. She finally got a little frustrated that we did not understand her and spoke English. She said that we can only do drinks but no food. The restaurant was not closing until 9 pm and I have never seen this before where a restaurant would choose not to serve customers food. It’s possibly they were short staffed and it is not her fault, so it is on management. Need to have more staff on weekend than one poor lady serving everyone. We went to Hellmairs instead and are loving it!

Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Sehr leckeres Essen und ordentliche Portionen. Vorallem ist eine Freundin Vegetarierin und hatte auch eine gute Auswahl an Essensmöglichkeiten.

Ein bißchen Zeit muss man mitbringen, wenn der Koch auf sich alleine gestellt ist. Das Warten lohnt sich, denn alle Speisen schmecken excellent. Die Speisekarte wird täglich ergänzt durch viele zusätzliche Gerichte, die mit Kreide auf den Tafeln geschrieben werden. Meine Gattin lobte den Saibling, meine Freunde lobten den Spargel auf Sauce Hollandaise mit Wiener Schnitzel - anstelle des Kochschinkens, der nicht mehr verfügbar war. Meine Schweinesteak war leider etwas zu lange in der Pfanne, was ich auf die Frage "war alles Recht ?" monierte. Als Kompensation offerierte die nette Bedienung einen Espresso. Die Fisch und Fleisch sind generell etwas klein - nur drei wen auch dicke Spargel - die Beilagen fallen dafür größer aus. Die Pommes waren alle selbst gemacht, nicht aus der Packung. Wir empfehlen das Wirtshaus gerne weiter.

An absolute recommendation!!! The best Viennese schnitzel in 25 years as an Ösi in Germany, plus brilliant Austrian wines and the best potato salad...everything you can eat :-)), if you haven't eaten here yet, you've definitely missed something!!

We have had fantastic meals here several times. The Chardonnay and the rosé wine from Austria are highly recommended. Waitress Annett was super friendly. Every meal was freshly cooked and even served hot outside. The Kaiserschmarren was delicious instead of coffee and cake. In the evening we had asparagus and mango salad, Wiener schnitzel with delicious potato salad. You can tell that everything here is homemade. This is also shown by the high rate of local guests. We will be back definitely!

I'm really disappointed. Actually my favorite restaurant in Landsberg. Food is always great, great beer selection. I totally like it. Coming by bike, it was raining before, now it's warm enough to sit outside again. I don't want to go in sweaty and wearing my cycling clothes. Quick question: Can I eat outside? (actually rhetorical, half of Landsberg sits outside). Answer: No, we don't do that, drinking yes, eating inside. Seriously: I'm stunned, it doesn't happen often.

We had an excellent meal here and the ambience with a view of the historic tower was very nice and quiet. The choice of food is not large, but the dishes are fresh and very tasty. The service was attentive and very friendly. We were very satisfied.

Last night we had a schnitzel with asparagus and fried potatoes and then a Kaiserschmarrn with apple sauce. The food was an absolute poem. Simply brilliant and delicious. Gladly again at any time 👍🏻

Das Lokal hat die Karte wieder aktualisiert. Aktuell befinden sich Bärlauchgerichte drauf. Vorab wird Brot mit Schmalz gereicht. Die Wartezeit auf das Essen dauert lange, das wird in der Speisekarte und vom Service angekündigt. Das Essen war lecker. Der Service aufmerksam und freundlich.

We were sitting outside. Very nice benches ideal for 2 people and of course more. The service was alone but very accommodating, nice and friendly. At first we just wanted something to drink, it wasn't a problem, but we decided to eat something and we weren't disappointed. The menu doesn't have too much choice, which often shows that the food here is freshly cooked. The food was very tasty. The chef cooks everything fresh here. Later we saw that the restaurant had a 3-star award for the best Bavarian cuisine. I would go back here in a heartbeat.

We had to wait 1:40 for our food. After about 1:15 the waitress came and put us off with “I'm sure you don't mind if it takes a little longer today, right?" Well actually, we also had other plans for the evening which we then had to cancel. However, the map points out that there can be waiting times of around 30 minutes. But 1:40 is beyond good and evil. Boss is nice but also seems a bit overwhelmed. Food was okay, but unfortunately nothing really special - seemed a bit improvised.

It's been a long time since I've had such a good meal in a restaurant Diverse wine selection including many open wines, good advice. As a starter we had mixed leaf salt with a delicious dressing, the whole thing was rounded off with fresh pumpkin seed oil. The main course was pan-fried schnitzel with really homemade potato salad and rack of lamb fried to perfection with creamy polenta - delicious. The service was very friendly and we would love to come back!

Were in Landsberg for the first time over the Easter days and are even one of the few that are open on Easter Monday. The staff is super friendly, the owner/chef is unique! The food is freshly prepared, a "small" menu but something for everyone. You should bring some time with you, it's not a snack bar and everything is made yourself in the small kitchen! It's definitely worth the wait, use your time and have a drink together. Absolute recommendation, you can't go wrong!

A cozy restaurant where you can get delicious food. When I made a reservation there with my family, we were warmly welcomed and shown to a table. The waitress drew our attention to the wine list and was also able to give us some very good suggestions for our dishes. When the food came, you could immediately taste the freshness of the ingredients and, like many of our dishes, the spaetzle was fresh and homemade. Can highly recommend it, because the saying applies here: Home is where the host knows your “as always”.

I have never encountered such rude service. We had dinner in this restaurant with a total of 6 friends. The food was good, but the value for money was a disgrace. I paid for the entire table and we left. We were standing in front of the restaurant saying goodbye when suddenly the waitress came and said we hadn't paid. The outrageous tone and the accusation that we didn't pay. I assured him that I had just paid him for the entire table. The waiter got loud and said that wasn't true, that I hadn't paid. I showed him the receipt that I paid. He got loud and claimed I didn't pay. Meanwhile, a crowd of people had gathered in front of the restaurant. The waiter became louder and louder and more vehement that I hadn't paid. I showed him the receipt and he sheepishly replied that he had billed the wrong table. The whole thing could have been clarified in a friendly tone. In addition, the billing was incorrect. There were drinks on the bill that we didn't consume at all. I went into the restaurant, paid the extra amount on our bill without saying a word and left the restaurant. I will no longer enter this restaurant. I have never experienced such rude service. We were also charged for drinks that we had not consumed. This restaurant is anything but recommended. The waiter was extremely overwhelmed and the price-performance ratio didn't fit at all. There are great restaurants in Landsberg with good food and friendly service. The nice evening with our friends was ruined.

Quaint inn with fantastic food. Home-style Austrian cuisine, home-cooked by a super nice host. But also great waiters, courteous and almost every wish is met!! Regardless of whether it's for an evening or a family celebration, we'll be happy to come back!!!

We've been there few days ago. My girlfriend was always insisting to go once in a Bavarian restaurant to try German food. We ordered 4 different meals (we were 4 people) the waiter brought the food and it was a very small amount so 5 minutes later after finishing our food we asked from the waiter to bring a small amount of snacks or maybe a plate of meat to snack because we still were hungry. We asked twice A SMALL PLATE OF FOOD. We gave him the ok to choose for us something small. 10 minutes later he is returning with a big disc of 4 plates of different meals like as if we ordered again each of us a new meal. He let's the disc in out table and says ironically....eat slowly, take your time now and eat slowly. In the plates were schnitzel and meals from the last days.Obviously warned up and very dry . I have a bad temper with such people and I try to not say nothing respecting my friends and our evening. Of course we snack a bit but obviously we didn't finish all our food. We call the waiter again asking to take the food home.He says ok and he goes and brings an aluminum paper to our table and says ...here you are,put the food here. Every one was watching us so I asked him to bring the disc in the kitchen and place it in the paper to take it away. Then he comes back and asks if we want to pay. It seemed like they wanted us to leave. 160 the bill and in the end he brought us 4 small chocolate pieces while the other table next to us was brought schnaps when they paid and for us 4 with a 160 euros bill one small piece of chocolate for each of us. After we pay he brings the 2 aluminum packets with the food but no bag to carry it so one of my friends carries it with his both hands while we exit the place and then again the waiter making fun of him telling him.....Aaa you have both hands now full. Bad experience, bad service, small portion of food and the food quality very bad as well. 2 days later and still my belly hurts and suffering like as if I have eaten something bad. I will definitely never go back there again and I'm not recommending anyone to ever go there.

We (4 people) had dinner yesterday on January 25th, 2024 in the Wirtshaus am Spitalplatz. My sister and her boyfriend invited my husband and I over for his birthday. We were allowed to choose a restaurant where we think that someone who has never been there before and would also like to eat Austrian/Bavarian food would be in good hands here. We chose the restaurant because we have always had very good experiences. The staff was always really nice and attentive, and the food was excellent. Yesterday evening initially went wonderfully. Apart from the strange apres-ski music, the table was beautifully set, the conditions were friendly, everything was perfect. The greeting from the kitchen was meant kindly, the cream was also very fine, but the bread was of dried-out discounter quality. But you don't want to complain about a gift. We ordered 1x roast venison and 3x pork cheeks from the daily menu. The food was also really delicious and everything was to the point as we know it. Only the portion was a bit small, so we were still hungry and had the idea of ​​maybe ordering a kind of small delicacy platter for four. I specifically said just a few little things because we are still hungry. From this order on, things got weird. The waiter seemed overwhelmed at first and the friendliness suddenly disappeared. He then said that we definitely have to clear the table because we need space. Okay, that's logical. When the platter came, we had to clear the table ourselves and a really powerful and huge platter was delivered to us, with lots of delicacies. I don't want to complain about the quality of the food either. But by small I mean something different. Of course we couldn't manage everything and when the waiter came, he said with a somewhat ironic tone that we probably need a little more. As if they wanted to punish us for not filling our stomachs. But we asked to pack up the rest, which again caused us to be overwhelmed. Unfortunately there was only aluminum foil. Then he came to the table with 3 pieces of aluminum foil. That was enough for our companion, who actually only speaks English, and asked him to take the record into the kitchen and pack it up there. That really doesn't work at all. We were really on display in that moment. When he came back with the wrapped package he asked directly if we would like to pay. Nobody asked about it, but obviously he wanted to throw us out. We would have liked to have enjoyed the evening a little longer with a coffee and another drink or a small dessert. The delicacy platter was listed TWICE on the bill. Why are they basically bringing us two records even though we specifically only wanted a few little things? We all felt really ripped off, as if they were trying to show us off and punish us for not appreciating the food, which we actually kindly said several times that evening that we liked it. By the way, we each received a mini stick of chocolate as a “thank you”. The table in front of us had been given a shot. Then you knew where the wind was blowing from. As I was leaving I picked up the two packages of food and the waiter couldn't think of anything better than to call after me, "You've got your hands full now, right." If I hadn't been so perplexed and a very reserved person by nature, my hat string would have burst at that point at the latest. My sister and her boyfriend won't be coming as first-time guests, so we'll think about giving the place another chance in the future... I suspect it was simply due to the unprofessional waiter. We paid a lot of money for an evening that ultimately left everyone feeling really bad. I would hope that someone would read this and take to heart what was going on... That's not how you treat guests!

Never again!!! When the two of us were there for dinner around 4 p.m., there was a handwritten sign in front of the restaurant: Crust roast with dumplings and coleslaw. Because of the good reviews and because we were hungry, we went in. When the waitress came, we were told that there was only a reduced menu of 4 dishes! Even the crusty roast described as the daily menu on the sign wasn't available! From the dishes we inevitably decided on Backhändel and Wienerschnitzel with potato salad! At the next table, two gentlemen were suddenly served onion roast with fried onions and cheese sparrows, which was not offered to us. I asked the waitress about it and heard again that there was a shortened menu and when I asked again how that could be I got the same answer! Apparently it was noticed that I was angry and the waitress came out of the kitchen with a kitchen greeting. A tasteless sour cream cheese and 4 crumbs of bread, that was really a joke. The food itself, my companion got a pork schnitzel instead of the bakery, which she unfortunately noticed too late and was not healthy for her health, the potato salads were tasteless and a small portion and my schnitzel was flaky and tough! We paid almost 50 EUR for the meal with two teas included. In response to the comment about the incorrect delivery of the dish and the intolerance of my companion, there was neither an apology nor any compensation offered! I have reviewed many restaurants but never experienced anything like this! That's why NOTHING fits here, NEVER AGAIN!!!

The Wirtshaus am Spitalplatz in Landsberg is a great restaurant. A reservation is recommended - with luck you can also get a "spontaneous" table. The food from the boss - Mr. Harb - is stunningly good. We ate roast venison with Preisselberspätzle - a real treat. For dessert there was a shared Kaiserschmarrn - also excellent. The service is super fast and very friendly - nothing was missing. The prices are also very reasonable in my opinion. A very good visit - we will definitely be back.

We went here for dinner on December 30th, 2023 during our trip to Landsberg. If you geocach a lot, you will be very hungry. The small restaurant immediately caught our eye on our way and so we reserved a table straight away. We were totally surprised by the service and friendliness of the staff. Always with a smile and a little joke on his lips, he served all guests to their complete satisfaction. The food, like the shop itself, was a dream. I've never had such a good onion roast before. The Kasspatzen in a cream sauce were also something new and are highly recommended. My wife and child were also completely thrilled. She ate the roast pork and the small spaetzle with fried onions, which were also homemade. We were worried that the boy doesn't like eating onions, but he ate them all at once. To keep everything a little short, I can only recommend this restaurant. This was even said by our dogs, who were allowed to rest under the heater with a sip of water. We would love to come back here on our next trip.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe hier und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war hervorragend - die Karte ist zwar klein, aber es ist für jeden etwas dabei und es ist herausragende! Der Service war beispielgebend. Es war "nur" eine Servicekraft da, aber diese hat wunderbar und professionelle Arbeit geleistet - da sieht man heute Orte, wo drei Kräfte weniger schaffen also diese eine! Hier gehen wir bestimmt wieder hin!

Es war ein kurzer Besuch aber der erste Eindruck zählt. Es war sehr schön und das Essen duftet hervorragend! Beim nächsten Besuch wird auch gegessen...die Atmosphäre ist super!

Man kann nur begeistert nach Hause gehen. Frisch zubereitet und super lecker. Bayrisch-österreichisch vom Feinsten, lecker, gute Portionen und zum Trinken gibt es a guades Bier, das beste Weizen und vorzüglichen österreichischen Wein. Prädikat: alles sehr wertvoll!

So, hier würde ich auch 6 Sterne vergeben, wenn das ginge. Ich habe schon sehr sehr lange nicht mehr so gute bayrische / österreichische Küche erlebt, wie dort. Geschmacklich, optisch, rundum top!!! Das ganze dann zu einem mehr als fairen Preis. Zudem sehr gemütlich gesessen und keine Hektik im Service (...woanders wir man ja schon oft sofort gefragt, was man trinken/essen will, bevor man sich aus der Jacke gepellt hat, gruselig). Perfekt für einen genussvollen schönen Abend. Vielen vielen Dank noch mal!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 P.S.: auch die leckeren Obstler probieren P.S.: und Ende einen Espresso nehmen. Decisamente da migliorare, Piatti mediamente buoni ma non è assolutamente accettabile sentirsi negare il dolce , qualsiasi dolce (sul menù c’è anche il gelato alla vaniglia) perché c’era una tavolata di dieci persone .. e quindi “is not possible” Poi dopo due minuti alzi la testa e vedi che ad altri stanno lo stanno portando. Non ci tornerei

War jetzt zweimal dort und es war zweimal ausgezeichnet. Minimal teurer als manche Konkurrenz, aber man wird mit aktueller Tageskarte und einem sehr guten Essen entlohnt. Ein einziger Kritikpunkt ist maximal die recht lange Wartezeit, bis das Essen da ist, dafür ziehe ich aber keine Stern ab, weil der restliche Service allein durch Freundlichkeit wirklich überzeugt.

Beste Qualität mit unglaublich freundlicher Bedienung! Der Wirt hält was er verspricht, frisch gekochtes Essen ohne typischen Convenience und Glutamatgeschmack. Deswegen muss die Karte klein sein und kann das Essen auch mal ausgehen. Die Bedienung ist unglaublich rührig und freundlich da man kann gerne auch mal warten, denn sie verliert einen nicht aus den Augen und ist bemüht. Absoluter Tip was auch die Getränkeauswahl betrifft.

Fast alles aufgegessen, und es war sehr lecker. Das Essen ist ist ganz toll, aber einen guten Hunger mitbringen. Alle mit Freude bei der Arbeit und das spürt man auch.

Ein wahnsinnig gutes Wirtshaus! Der Koch ist absolut talentiert und bringt vielfältige kulinarische Gerichte auf die Karte, die stetig wechseln. Auch das Wirtshaus selber wird immer wieder durch schöne Holzarbeiten eines Schreiners verbessert. Die Bedienung ist sehr schnell und aufmerksam und liest den Gästen fast schon die Wünsche vom Gesicht ab. Weiter so!

Absolut empfehlenswert! Sehr leckeres und frisches Essen. Toller Service und Preis-Leistung ist angemessen :) die Marillenknödel sind mein absoluter Favorit ! familiäre Atmosphäre mit Sitzgelegenheiten draußen! meine Top Empfehlung :)
