The restaurant has been open again under the name "Au Lack 51" for about a week. Service very good, food very good. Wine selection ditto.

Completely obsessive management. Super grumpy, super unfriendly, super unfriendly to children. "You don't belong here," was what I was told. All because, as the father of 3-year-old twins, I couldn't immediately respond to the grumpy, unfriendly commands about what to do here. Badly behaved children. Here, you can feel the drill that was drummed into you back then, and anyone who doesn't follow the rules is devalued. Unbelievable.

Nice location, good cake, very rude, really very rude service. I've been coming here every now and then for decades, usually for coffee, sometimes in the evening. Again and again (not always) you experience snotty, inflexible and extremely rude female waitresses. So rude that it really stands out. It can happen once, but again and again... I know it's hard to get good staff these days, but that's bad for business. It's a shame because the food and location are good.

Price and quality ratio is wrong. The schnitzel (unfortunately no photo) was thin, more like breadcrumbs. And no salad or any decoration. And that for just over €25 The currywurst for €12.90 also had no decorations. We think a bottle of water with or without bubbles for E5.20 is also quite expensive. Staff was very friendly and hospitable And the decoration is also attractive

Food very good, atmosphere quaint, service always very friendly and accommodating. I'm now 50, came here often with my parents as a small child and now do the same with my children; 3-4 times a year - every time we are on vacation at Tegernsee. The menu is small but the dishes are always very tasty, whether it's the grilled meat from the fireplace in the room or the salmon with salad. The coleslaw is great! The hut is very cozy and rustic, especially in winter with the open fireplace where the grilled meat is also grilled. In summer it's nice to sit in the garden, far away from the hustle and bustle.

We were looking forward to a nice menu on Valentine's Day evening. Our reserved table was only available 45 minutes after the originally booked time at 8:30 p.m., and the service was completely overwhelmed. The “icing on the cake” was - after we had decided on a meal a la carte due to the lateness of the time - a cold meal that was a disaster in terms of taste. Too bad, once and never again.

Located on the edge of Rottach-Egern, this cozy inn & bar also has a garden. You can have a solid meal downstairs and parties are held in the bar on the first floor. The website is very poorly and carelessly made: zero photos, only excerpts from the menu and no option to reserve online. I was there spontaneously for dinner on December 13th, 2024. The service was friendly and attentive. I ate "fillet tips in whiskey cream with homemade rösti" for €30.50 - they were very good, but the portion could have been larger. I would go again for a special occasion; In everyday life it would be too expensive for me.

Everything fine! Delicious food, fast service. Very good quality and prices! I recommend! We will definitely come back!
