Charging 1 euro for an extra forkful of Kaiserschmarrn when two people want to eat it is a complete disgrace!

Additional cutlery costs extra. That's embarrassing. And I can hardly believe that there shouldn't be drinking water in the bathroom. It's more about ripping off tourists. Too bad

Large and clean restaurant with a beautiful view.

It's just a shame, the price for driving up and down is simply too expensive! Eating for a family? And when it comes to advice for strangers, it's simply inadequate! The sales staff at the checkout have no idea how long you have to walk down the back, especially given the recent weather conditions

Warm food only until 3 p.m., which is a farce; when you have climbed the Wallberg on foot and are looking forward to something to eat. In addition, prices are very high, staff are rather unfriendly, and card payments are not possible.

Excellent food with an exceptional ambience

Everything was great, great gondola ride and delicious cake. Would love to come back. Of course the view of the mountains is unique ❤️

Wow, what a wonderful place. After the strenuously steep climb, we sat down on the wonderful sun terrace. Service staff had a lot to do. So we had to wait a bit until someone finally had time for us. We studied the menu and all four of us decided on the salad bowl with goat cheese, beetroot, sprouts, carrots, nuts and more. It was soooo delicious. We feasted. Yes, a hefty price for €19.90, but we didn't regret it. Together with the delicious farmer's bread, it's a real treat and an absolute recommendation!

Super friendly staff, very accommodating. Food was really very good. We had 1x cheese spaetzle and the cabbage wrapper. We enjoyed both very much. Portion was sufficient. Price performance a good 2. UPDATE: Been there again today. Kässspätzle was once again unforgettably good and the fried fish was very good. We'll definitely be back until October 31st

Unfortunately, the Kaiserschmarrn tasted very fatty and was very heavy on my stomach afterwards. The homemade rum plums weren't my cup of tea either. The waiter was unfortunately unfriendly and not very accommodating. However, the view is sensational!

We haven't met such an unpleasant waiter for a long time! The older gentleman who serves the guests is arrogant and obviously dissatisfied with his job. Rude and rude! and also free. I had the impression that we were doing him a disservice by ordering! Waiting time 30 minutes!!!! and then there's the negative energy of the waiter, which spoils the impression of this beautiful place.

Magnificent view. When the weather is right, it's wonderful outside in the beer garden. Lots of space inside too.

It was quite full and a number of guests were far too impatient, but I can say that we were served friendly and well.

The Panorama Restaurant on the Wallberg is absolutely recommended! For a hill station restaurant, the food is surprisingly good – fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. The selection is varied and offers something for everyone. We were particularly impressed by the speed of the service: despite the large number of guests, our orders were served very quickly. Add to this the unbeatable view of the surrounding mountains, which makes eating a real experience. Perfect place for a break after a nice hike!

Service and payment very stressful and complicated. Food is fast food quality. Very nice view though but avoid eating there. No credit card payments.

Just drank coffee and a beer. The view was great, the restaurant was very well maintained and cozy, the outdoor terrace was well attended and the waiting time was reasonable. Only the toilets weren't that great.

We ate very tasty Kaiserschmarrn with applesauce here and the service was very, very nice. A second fork for my dinner companion was no problem at all and she also took a nice photo of us with a great panorama in the background. Thank you very much for that.

Mountain restaurant with fabulous views in all directions, of Lake Tegernsee, the mountain chapel and not forgetting the Alps. The food is home-style and the pumpkin soup was very tasty. All in all, it's worth a ride on the cable car or a 2 1/2 hour walk from the valley station.

Eggshell in Kaiserschmarren. And a minimum portion of 14€. If you've pointed this out, you'll get a cheeky answer, customer orientation is zero... they probably don't need it... then you'd better go to the Wallbergmoosalm. You get twice as much, 100x tastier and cheaper!!! 😍

The food was very tasty and the portions were generous. What's particularly nice is that you get friendly service here. Large selection of regional dishes & nice daily specials. The whole thing is rounded off with the great view!

A very funny and nice waiter brought us our sausage salad and cheese plate. Everything tastes good with the view!

The panoramic restaurant and its terrace live up to their name. We have enjoyed the beautiful view of Lake Tegernsee and the surrounding area several times. The range of drinks and food is extensive, as is the selection of cakes. We recommend the plum datschi with cream and an elderflower spritzer, delicious 😋. Of course there are also schnitzel and fries and Bavarian delicacies. Here you will be served by an extremely friendly team, always with a smile and a friendly saying, you will feel at home. We will come again! The surrounding area is always worth a walk, people who are not so fit can definitely make the short path to the chapel, several benches tempt you to take a break and let your gaze wander into the distance or watch the paragliders take off and fly. Come on, come to the Wallberg, on foot or by train and enjoy your beautiful mountain day. The view is free.

I recommend! Friendly staff and pleasant service. The food is varied, meat and fish dishes, there are also salads and potatoes if you are a vegetarian. Ice cream and refreshing drinks are also available. You definitely won't go hungry.

The food was mediocre at best - super basic quality. We ordered käsespätzle and kaiserschmann. The panoramic views from the terrace are beautiful, which is why I guess this restaurant is highly rated. They also have a microwave for guests to warm up baby food.

Great restaurant with a viewing terrace on the Wallberg...staff and service very nice...special requests (e.g. different salad dressing) are easily implemented here...large selection of food and drinks...special daily specials that are not on the menu, are displayed on boards on the walls - it's worth taking a look around... the food is very tasty and very tastefully/decoratively prepared... the ambience inside is also very cozy and invites you to linger.

Perfect stop after a hike on the Wallberg and Setzberg. A little expensive, but that's to be expected with such a location and view.

Great restaurant, great service

I ate the worst cheese crumble cake of my life there yesterday! Imagine: There comes a piece of lukewarm cake with flabby, moist streusel on top. And a tough soil. It was obvious that the cake had been defrosted very quickly in the microwave. And they charge €4.70 for that. A real disgrace!

1 cutlery extra € 1,-…. Monopolist on the Wallberg makes full use of his market power. No joke, extra cutlery in case you want to share a Kaiserschmarrn (€16.90) with one person costs €1 extra. Are you crazy?! Overall, great restaurant, very nicely located and also very tasty. However, prices and style overshadow things on the other hand. Gondola ride €27. For this reason alone, it's more recommended for fit people... who wants to pay that much?!

Food very expensive. Understandable given today's homemade prices! Had 2 pairs of Viennese with a slice of bread, steamed noodles and 1 beer for an incredible €27. Incredible! But at least the view made up for it...

The location just makes it attractive! In terms of taste, it meets the normal average. Prices clearly too high, extra cutlery = €1.

Very nice location. But the prices are definitely too expensive. Especially since you have to pay 27 euros per person for the mountain railway. It would then be better to give guests a discount of 20%.

The mountain path is the goal! For people who are fit enough. (Unfortunately this no longer applies to me). When you get to the top, everything tastes wonderful. And the view of the Tegernsee valley is unique.

A very popular viewing point and a must when you are at Tegernsee. The restaurant is in a great location, we just had something to drink and it went quickly.

I think the extra charge of €1 for additional cutlery is totally wrong! The service staff was very friendly, but only 1 star because of the extra costs
