Was eating here for the first time, it's a nice restaurant, a little hidden away. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent and very nicely prepared. The only handicap is that you have to bring time. But the waiting time is worth it for a first-class meal 😋😋😋 We'll be happy to come back ☺️

Discovered by chance on a short trip to Kronach, 'Bastion Marie' turns out to be a real pearl. Great food, even for vegetarians, and really good service made dinner a real pleasure. The whole thing is rounded off by the extensive and careful selection of wine.

The restaurant even advertises participation in the Kronach Card on the door. When we wanted to order and asked about redeeming the voucher card, we were told that this was not possible that day due to a technical problem. Annoying because we drove an extra 50km. When asked by the Kronach advertising association, they were told that the card should be treated like cash and can be redeemed by the innkeeper at the office - this means that no system disruptions are possible. It's a shame to get completely different information about this in the restaurant. Otherwise, the drinks and food were good, but the waiting time for the menu to be handed out was above average.

Very quick, best taste and the birthday table next to us was allowed to choose their favorite music. Thanks for the good hospitality! It was one of the highlights of this visit.
