Super lecker und mit Liebe zubereitet und angerichtet. Personal mega freundlich und zuvorkommend. Was mir auch total gut gefällt- der Chef kommt an den Tisch und erkundigt sich ob alles in Ordung war und hält ein kleines "Pläuschchen" mit den Gästen. Wir kommen öfter und sind immer sehr sehr zufrieden!

Nice restaurant with very nice and fast service. Friendly and accommodating. The food was nicely prepared and the portions were large enough. There was only a lot of room for improvement in terms of taste... Both main courses were enjoyable, but nothing that was particularly positive in your memory. It's a bit of a shame because the service team really did a good job.

We were delivered food for our wedding from Gasthaus Sonnenschein to Cafè Kitsch. We felt very well advised and looked after right from the start and were not disappointed. Thanks to Jörg's warm and competent nature, it wasn't difficult for us to choose him as our caterer. The delivery was completely unproblematic and the food was extremely tasty. The critics among our wedding guests also praised the food from starter to dessert! We can highly recommend Jörg and his team and would book him again for a celebration at any time. Moderate food. Lucas Cranach Schnitzel was a ready-made schnitzel with tasteless bacon cubes and gratinated with cheese. The onions were missing. A few fries that tasted extremely fatty. Not recommended for the price.

Found the restaurant via TripAdvisor, because we are vegetarian, we always check the menu first for options. There were enough of them. Until we got the small menu there, because the Grill was broken. Therefore, only a choice of two. Very sad and a bit disappointed. Couldn't the cook have said greetings in a different way? You don't just need a grill for vegetarian dishes.

Nice, quiet inn in the middle of Kronach's old town, we ordered lunch on Sunday and took a stroll through Kronich. I love game, so we had roast venison with mixed dumplings, i.e. Thuringian and bread dumplings. The game was buttery, the dumplings were a dream, with a Gampert, it was perfect. The chef personally asked everyone if they enjoyed it, it couldn't be more personal - definitely recommended

Rustic traditional restaurant that, thank God, breaks with the tradition of some of the previous owners - the food now tastes excellent, the service is attentive and friendly, the furnishings and details in the various guest rooms, even in the toilet, are lovingly selected and invite you to linger . In summer we recommend visiting the beer garden and especially the great snack.

On Saturday June 15th we were able to celebrate lunch as part of our civil wedding at the Gasthaus Sonnenschein. Our wishes, which we had expressed in advance, were responded to very lovingly. What I don't think is great is that you have to order the salad separately, salad isn't automatically included with any dish!🤔

Highly recommended catering. Sunny, his Jemny and the whole team took over the catering for our wedding. Planning, preparation, organization and, last but not least, the food and drinks were first class. We would rely on Sunny again at any time and leave the organization to him. In addition to the pure catering, he helped us organize the location at Rosenberg Fortress, provided us with the photographer, DJ, carriage, photo box and much more. All in all, he ensured a successful celebration and made it possible for us to organize our wedding, even though we live abroad and were only able to arrive two weeks before the date. First class! Thank you so much for everything!

Very friendly and courteous service, and the children's wishes were also addressed directly and in a friendly manner. The food was very tasty, plentiful and inexpensive. We ate there with 7 people and everyone found something tasty. On the second evening we went to another restaurant, but the conclusion was that everyone liked it better at the Sonnenschein guesthouse.

We celebrated my 60th birthday here with 15 guests. Ate a la carte, very tasty schnitzel variants, asparagus dishes and much more! Everything at its best! The service was super friendly and everything worked! It couldn't have been better, I'd love to come back!

We had a family celebration at Appel's Max at the weekend. It was just great. The food was great and plentiful. The service is great. We will be back definitely. Just great. Big praise to the whole team.

Very nice and quick service. When preparing the roasts, I miss the love of cooking. The chef has to learn the dumplings first. The Bröckela definitely belong in the toilet, not on top.

"Unfortunately" it was our first time here - but after this evening it certainly won't be the last time! The ambience is absolutely harmonious, the rustic atmosphere of the past paired with modern furnishings, all in all very cozy and invites you to linger. The 3-person service team was top, even if quite young, but still very professional, attentive and friendly. All special requests were received with a smile on their faces and implemented 1:1, other restaurants should learn a lesson from this. The food was excellent!!! We (four of us) had a total of 8 different dishes, all of which were very tasty, prepared with high-quality ingredients, the kitchen knows what it is doing, so the price/performance ratio is more than justified! Team Sonnenschein has definitely won us over as regular guests, thank you for that, and we can recommend them without hesitation ⭐⭐⭐⭐👍🏻

We ate beef fillet with red wine jus, bacon beans and potato gratin! So you absolutely nailed it! That was by far the best thing we have ever eaten! I celebrated my 60th birthday in the brewery with 23 people. The food, a selection from the menu with advice from the boss, was very good. The service was top notch. The supply of drinks worked well. My mother loved the salmon. She has never eaten such good salmon. As a fan of beef cheeks, I also got my money's worth. Sauerbraten at its best. My guests unanimously praised the restaurant's selection. All in all a very successful evening.

Wir hatten Jörg und sein Team als Caterer für unsere Hochzeit. Kurz: Es hätte nicht besser sein können! - Einfach spitze! Nachdem man ein solches Fest mit knapp 100 Leuten nicht jeden Tag feiert, war es uns wichtig einen Caterer zu finden, der uns hier etwas an die Hand nimmt und mit Sunny haben wir denjenigen zum Glück sehr schnell gefunden. Wir haben einen Termin vereinbart, er hat sich viel Zeit für uns genommen und alle Wünsche für unseren Tagesablauf aufgenommen, bei Unsicherheiten hat er uns mit einer Empfehlung immer direkt weitergeholfen, wir haben uns einfach direkt wohl gefühlt. Das Angebot hatten wir kurz danach und es wurde alles berücksichtigt. Bis zur Hochzeit standen wir dauerhaft im Kontakt und konnten uns mit Fragen immer kurzfristig an Sunny wenden! Einfach ein super Service. Vom Aufbau, über den Ablauf und das Essen am Hochzeitstag hinweg, bis hin zum Abbau lief alles spitze! Natürlich muss man auch das Essen nochmal besonders erwähnen, es war egal was man gegessen hat, es hat alles einfach superlecker geschmeckt! Sunny's Team ist auch richtig klasse, keine Aufregung, für Fragen stets zur Verfügung und alles unauffällig und zuvorkommend! Service - Top! Begleitung - Top! Essen - Spitze! Jederzeit wieder gerne! Inzwischen haben wir so jetzt auch ein weiteres Lokal im kronacher Kreis, welches wir gerne besuchen!

Mein Anruf für die Tischreservierung zu einem runden Geburtstag wurde derart freundlich und kompetent behandelt, dass der erste Eindruck das richtige Lokal gewählt zu haben bestätigt wurde. Einem schön dekorierten Tisch und einem sehr freundlichen Empfang und gesamte Bedienung (ein junger Kellner) folgte unser leckeres Essen. Die gut sortierte Speisekarte (Geschmack und Preis) ist perfekt. Das Gasthaus Sonnenschein ist auf jeden Fall auf unserer Liste wo wir gerne hin gehen und das wir mit guten Gewissen empfehlen können.

Wir war heute den 12.09.23. Zur Schuleinführung unseres Sohnes beim Gasthaus Sonnenschein in Kronach ein traumhaftes Essen wurde uns vom Küchenchef und seinen Team zubereitet. Wir haben alle nach Karte gegessen alle Gerichte würde ziemlich zeitgleich serviert ich selbst hatte ein Rindersteak med. Was punktgenau war- zart wie Butter. Alles war top frisch und eine Traum für den Gaumen. Also ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jedenfall...und es wird für uns mich nicht das letzte mal. Service der beiden Kellner/in war super top schnell freundlichen immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Kann es euch nur empfehlen dort zu Essen......

Top Essen mit tollem Service. Das Haus serviert fränkische Küche und gerne auch ab und an mal kulinarisch exotische Spezialitäten. Hier bin ich gerne Stammgast. Für Feiern stehen verschiedene Räumlichkeiten inkl. Biergarten zur Verfügung. Wer es dennoch bevorzugt an anderer Location sein Event durchzuführen, kann auf das bestens organisierte Catering zurückgreifen. Auch dafür kann ich aus eigener Erfahrung nur Bestnoten geben. Der Besitzer und Koch eine coole Marke. Das Team ein Traum!

Käsespätzle waren lecker, aber die Portion für 11,80 € definitiv zu klein, mein Mann hatte Schnitzel, dieses war sehr trocken und auch nicht wirklich dünn geklopft, ansonsten ist das Ambiente schön.
