Wir sind spontan eingekehrt und haben sofort einen Platz bekommen. Der Service war erstklassig..schnell,freundlich, aufmerksam. Das Essen kam gut getimt und war sehr gut. Tip von uns: probiert die hausgemachte Limonade!

Jörg ist im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes ein Pfundskerl! Wir hatten ihn als Caterer für unsere Hochzeit bei uns zu Hause mit ca. 90 Leuten. Es hat alles perfekt geklappt und war super lecker. Alle Gäste haben das Essen gelobt. Er lief sehr unkompliziert, zuverlässig und preislich total fair.

Perfektes Catering für unsere Hochzeit: Mit dem Team vom Gasthaus Sonnenschein haben wir die perfekte Wahl für das Catering unserer Hochzeit am 16.05.2026 getroffen. Bereits bei der Planung wurden wir optimal beraten. Unsere Wünsche wurden umgesetzt, uns wurden hilfreiche Tipps und Vorschläge gemacht und wir erhielten ein sehr umfangreiches Angebot. Auch bei der Umsetzung hat alles einwandfrei funktioniert. Am Tag vor der Hochzeit war der liebe Sunny bereits vor uns an der Location und hatte alles für das Buffet vorbereitet. Am Hochzeitstag mussten wir weder auf unseren Kaffee noch auf das Essen warten – alles kam genau wie vereinbart. Auch am Tag danach kam er gemeinsam mit seinem Team vorbei und kümmerte sich um das Aufräumen und die Abholung des Geschirrs. Super stressfrei für uns. Zum wichtigsten Punkt, dem Essen: **ALLE waren begeistert!** Besser können wir es kaum beschreiben. Es war super lecker, für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei und von jeder Speise gab es genau die richtige Menge – reichlich, aber nicht übertrieben viel. Das war uns besonders wichtig, damit möglichst wenig weggeworfen werden musste. Der heimliche Champion des Essens waren die Rote-Beete-Puffer – sie kamen überragend an, und das nicht nur bei den Veganern. Ein weiterer riesiger Pluspunkt: Zu jedem Gang gab es eine pflanzliche Alternative – von der Hafermilch über Gemüsebeilagen und vegane Puffer beim Hauptgang bis hin zum veganen Tiramisu. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch, dass kurzfristige Änderungen bei den Speisen problemlos umgesetzt wurden. Die vegane Schokocreme wurde kurzerhand durch das Tiramisu ersetzt. Unser Fazit: Mit dem Catering vom Gasthaus Sonnenschein bucht man ein echtes Rundum-sorglos-Paket: optimale Planung, perfekte Umsetzung, extrem leckeres Essen und ein Team, auf das man sich jederzeit verlassen kann. Sehr schöner Biergarten leckere Essen Auswahl

Wir hatten das Catering für unsere Hochzeit gebucht und waren rundum sehr zufrieden. Die Planung lief im Vorfeld unkompliziert ab. Auch zusätzliche organisatorische Dinge wie Beleuchtung, ein Außenpavillon mit Sitzlounge sowie die Fotobox wurden über das Team organisiert, das hat uns extrem entlastet. Am Tag der Hochzeit war das Team einfach top: sehr aufmerksam, unglaublich freundlich und herzlich im Umgang mit uns und unseren Gästen. Man hat sich jederzeit gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker und zudem mehr als reichlich, alle Gäste waren begeistert. Auch Auf- und Abbau liefen absolut reibungslos. Das Team war dabei sehr hilfsbereit und hat alles zügig und strukturiert umgesetzt. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden und haben dank ihnen einen wirklich perfekten Tag erleben dürfen. Es ist immer wieder schön hier her zu kommen. Das Ambiente ist urig-gemütlich, das Essen immer sehr lecker und das personal und natürlich der Chef so Mega freundlich. Wir haben hier schon eine Firmung und unseren Hochzeitstag gefeiert und können es nur weiterempfehlen. Man merkt einfach wieviel Herz hier drin steckt!

Wir haben unseren 20. Hochzeitstag hier gefeiert und wir waren, wie schon so oft, sehr zufrieden. Das personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend, der Tisch schön dekoriert, das Essen sehr zu empfehlen. Was uns besonders gefreut hat war, dass der Chef sich die Zeit genommen hat und sich zu uns auf ein schönes Gespräch an den Tisch gesetzt hat.

Jörg und sein Team haben unser Catering zu unserer Hochzeit gemacht. Wenn man mehr Sterne vergeben könnte, würden wir es tun. Das Essen war perfekt, es lief alles reibungslos ab und preislich absolut TOP für verschiedene Vorspeisen, Hauptspeisen und Nachspeisen! Essen war gut aber die Panade vom Schnitzel sah wie Fertigschnitzel aus auch wenn es das nicht war (meine Meinung). Würde das andere Brösel nehmen. Der Spargel war am Stilunterteil recht Fest aber geschmacklich gut. Als Nachspeiße hatte ich Apfelringe mit Vanilleeis auch gut aber mit 2 Ringelchen sehr wenig da hab ich fürs geld schon woanders 3 bis 4 Stücke bekomme. Kollege hat 2 Schnitzel mir Rahmsauce gegessen war auch sehr zufrieden. Alles in allem 3-4 Sterne

Das Essen war sehr lecker, das Personal nett und aufmerksam, in der Küche wurde ein kleiner Fehler gemacht( ich habe das gleich nach 2 x probieren angesprochen) dadurch erhielt ich das Angebot: Schnaps oder Kaffee als Entschädigung was ich gerne angenommen habe: wir haben uns für 2 Cappuccini nach dem Essen entschieden, deshalb wird kein Stern abgezogen.

Für die Feier unserer Konfirmation hätten wir uns keinen besseren Ort als das Gasthaus Sonnenschein wünschen können. Vom ersten Moment an wurden wir herzlich empfangen und bestens betreut. Der Service war aufmerksam, schnell und dabei immer sehr freundlich. Das Essen hat uns und unseren Gästen ausgezeichnet geschmeckt – alles war perfekt abgestimmt und von hoher Qualität. Man hat gemerkt, dass hier mit viel Liebe zum Detail gearbeitet wird. Wir und unsere Gäste haben uns den ganzen Tag über rundum wohlgefühlt. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für diese gelungene Feier – wir erinnern uns sehr gerne daran zurück!

Die Familie Sonnenschein bietet eine absolut leckere Küche. Bratengerichte mit einer tollen Fleischqualität, sensationellen Soßen, feinen Thüringer Klösen und leckeren Beilagen. Abends sind auch die Steaks zu empfehlen. Mein Favorit: Rippeye mit einer fantastischen BBQ-Butter! Fleischlos sind die Spinatknödel mit einer schaumigen Käsesoße ein Gedicht. Der Service ist freundlich ohne aufdringlich oder gekünstelt zu wirken. Auch die Weinkarte passt prima dazu. Unbedingt ist im Sommer der Biergarten zu empfehlen, m.E. der schönste in der Kronacher Innenstadt.

Sehr leckeres Essen! Portionen haben die perfekte Größe. Die Mitarbeiterinnen sind sehr nett. Ich finde es innen etwas schnell stickig, aber umso schöner ist es im Sommer draußen zu essen!

Ich hatte das Catering anlässlich meiner Geburtstagsfeier bestellt. Die Organisation, von der Planung bis hin zur Ausführung ( Lieferung und Aufbau) und vor allem das Essen selbst, waren perfekt. Nochmals vielen Dank!

Ich war heute mit meiner Frau hier essen und muss sagen: Das hat mir richtig gut gefallen. Ich habe schon in vielen Restaurants gegessen, aber hier fühlt man sich noch wie früher – gemütlich, ehrlich und ohne viel Schnickschnack. Das Essen war sehr lecker, gute Portionen und alles frisch gemacht. Besonders gefallen hat mir, dass es einfach nach richtiger Hausmannskost schmeckt. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, man wird hier noch wie ein Gast behandelt und nicht einfach nur schnell abgefertigt. Die Atmosphäre ist ruhig und angenehm, man kann sich in Ruhe unterhalten und das Essen genießen. So ein Restaurant findet man heute nicht mehr überall. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können es guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Immer wieder

Extrem leckeres Essen, toller, aufmerksamer Service und sehr sympathischer Koch, der sich auch persönlich bei den Gästen Feedback einholt. Alles in allem ein super Restaurant mit klasse Ambiente.

We chose Jörg Sonnenschein as our caterer for our wedding two weeks ago. We celebrated in the neighboring town. He delivered the food, and everything went perfectly. Top-notch service, top-notch food, and plenty for everyone. Very friendly and always available. Of the dishes, we and our guests particularly enjoyed the beetroot carpaccio, the grilled salmon in white wine sauce, and the loin in pepper and cognac sauce. His service was also very attentive and friendly. Thank you very much, and we would definitely order again.

We booked the catering for the ASB staff party in Kronach from the team at Gasthaus Sonnenschein, especially Chef Sunny, and it was outstanding! For approximately 100 people, nothing was left to be desired. From the appetizers to the various main courses and desserts, everyone enjoyed everything.

We didn't have a reservation and felt warmly welcomed. It was the last free table. Oh, the schnitzel was so plentiful (actually, it was two schnitzels) and delicious. The portions of fries were generous, and the currywurst was equally delicious. Both the waiters (a man and a woman) were very attentive. Top-notch service. Greetings to Kronach, my hometown. 👋 The small, cozy beer garden in the Rosenau is the icing on the cake.

The food is absolutely delicious. But what's missing is the super-friendly waitress with the dreadlocks. Unfortunately, she's no longer working there, which is a shame. She was always friendly and very professional.

Beautiful restaurant in the charming town of Kronach. Five of us were here with our child and dog. The menu isn't particularly extensive, but there's something for every taste. All the dishes, such as wild herb salad with burrata, spinach dumplings with sage butter, cheese spaetzle, and schnitzel dishes, were of very good quality and lovingly prepared. The service was very friendly, attentive, and courteous. We had a wonderful dinner here and can highly recommend the Gasthaus Sonnenschein.

We've eaten at Appels Max several times, and yesterday we celebrated our son's communion there. It was simply fantastic, as always. The service is excellent, requests are fulfilled, the staff is always kind and friendly, and the food is simply fabulous. We and our guests were extremely satisfied. We ate here for the first time today with two adults and two children. The food came very quickly, even though it was quite busy. Everything was really good and beautifully presented. The three waitresses were very friendly and attentive. The ambiance was also nice. The price/performance ratio was absolutely reasonable. We'll definitely be back and can recommend it with a clear conscience.

In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Kronach. The food is truly excellent, and vegetarians and vegans also have a wide selection of really good food. On May 16, we visited the Gasthaus Sonnenschein near Appels Max in Kronach with our family. We'd heard a lot of praise, but finally wanted to see for ourselves. It was worth it. We received a very friendly and courteous welcome, hardly had to wait, the service was extremely attentive, the food was superbly presented and tasted excellent. The rump steak was cooked to perfection, the ox cheeks melted in your mouth, the asparagus dish was delicious, and the salmon and Skrei duet was a delight. The only downside that evening was our stomachs, which unfortunately couldn't handle any more of these outstanding delicacies. We'll definitely be back, as there are still many dishes on the menu that we absolutely want to try. A heartfelt thank you and a huge compliment to the outstanding chef and the fantastic team. We celebrated our son's confirmation at the Sonnenschein Inn. All of our requests were taken into account in advance, we received excellent advice, and our questions via email, Instagram, etc. were answered quickly. On the day of the celebration, everything was perfectly prepared and our decorations were in place. The inn provided the floral arrangements. The food and service were top-notch! The prices are also absolutely fair. I definitely recommend it!

It was our wedding anniversary yesterday and we wanted to have a really nice and tasty meal again. Our choice fell on sunshine at Appels Max. We made the right decision. When I made the reservation, I asked that it be a little nicer (according to the occasion). That's exactly how it was implemented. The table was set with a white tablecloth and cloth napkins, candles and flowers completed the whole picture. The food was a dream. The service was very attentive, friendly and quick.
