Wonderful stay – absolutely recommended! We had a great stay at this hotel! We were warmly welcomed at check-in and the staff was very helpful and courteous throughout our stay. The rooms, modernized old building, are clean and comfortable. We would particularly like to highlight the breakfast: fresh, varied and with great attention to detail, as well as the 3-course daily menu at a really fair price (also vegetarian). The location of the hotel is ideal, everything is within walking distance. We can fully recommend this hotel!

Very nice restaurant and very nice staff. Kässpätzle wasn't on the menu at the moment - and yet it was there. That was great.

A pub like you rarely see anymore and the landlord is also a real original.

It was super tasty and we were served very courteously! Gladly again! Update: Still applies after a year - today we ate again very, very well in the Strandbad Restaurant - and received excellent service. We'll be back! :-)

The Haldenhof is a day-trip restaurant with plenty of seating and a great view of the lake. The service was polite, even though the waitresses were extremely busy. The food was OK. My salad with chicken strips (more like medallions) was good. The canned chicken schnitzel was good... the spaetzle wasn't so tasty... the cheesecake was really not good; dry, overbaked, and shrunken (let me say this as a former master baker and pastry chef). The coffee was delicious. The prices are on the higher end for Germany, but costs are constantly rising for restaurants...

Carelessly prepared salad ala Chef for 20.50 euros in a soup plate. No bread was served either. Unfortunately I saw the reviews too late.
