Great, great location. But that's about it. Staff have probably never attended a hotel management school, unfriendly and arrogant. Uniform work clothing is not available. We were there for two days, that's enough for a lifetime. People are definitely not animal-friendly; bottles full of dead (protected) wasps are probably standing around as a deterrent and warning.

The farm has a dream location, a gigantic view of Lake Constance, very child-friendly with a playground. Very friendly staff, quick and the food was delicious. Always my pleasure

Today the three of us were at the Haldenhof mountain inn. We weren't put off by the reviews and wanted to get our own impression. Sorry, we can't agree with the bad reviews. We had zander with dill sauce, minced steak with mushroom cream sauce, cream roast and a side salad. The food tasted good, as a meal in an inn should, solid and hearty, no chic, no frills and frills. Friendly service, everything was perfect. You have to think in advance about what awaits you in an inn. The beer garden was full, and looking at the license plates in the parking lot speaks volumes. Lots of visitors from the surrounding area and locals. So the locals in particular won't eat there if it doesn't suit them. We'll definitely come back because it was a good fit. The great view of Lake Constance is an additional bonus point.

One gets the impression the owners are relying more on the location than on the quality of food or speed of service. Think of Haldenhof as a mountain hut experience.

The Haldenhof has been a destination for us for many years because of its beautiful location and as a starting point or destination for hikes and walks. Little has changed in terms of the great view over the years. There have been some changes at the restaurant, which unfortunately are not necessarily positive. The price level is too high for the quality and quantity of food and drink. The staff is friendly as long as it's not too busy. When the restaurant is fully staffed with an outdoor area, it becomes Olympic-like for the staff when it comes to the routes. Many guests understand when things get tiring, others quickly become annoyed because they may have arrived too thirsty and want to be served quickly. If you only made the short walk from the large parking lot to the inn, you will hopefully be more relaxed. In high season there are not only a lot of guests but also wasps buzzing here, which can be quite annoying for sensitive souls. The old summer linden tree is definitely worth seeing as a natural monument on the viewing side. The interior of the restaurant is a matter of taste with the many stuffed animals and the outdated furnishings. The great location certainly doesn't excuse everything that the restaurant could actually do better. There is room for improvement in the seasonal business to stand out from other excursion destinations on the lake. So maybe just enjoy the view for a bit and then go somewhere else by the lake to eat.

I would describe myself as a rather uncritical guest, but what has become of this restaurant over the years is simply sad. The waitress really didn't feel like it...unwilling and grumpy, bordering on impertinent, in view of our super complex 3 drinks + 3 dishes order. 🙄 The food was uninspired, lukewarm tourist fare...yes, even the side salad was lukewarm and visibly wilted. The moon prices then put the icing on the cake. No, sorry...don't you have any professional pride at all? Whoever's running the place right now... get another job or pull yourself together and throw things around. Conclusion: Positive: location, view, children's playground etc. Negative: Everything else that makes a good restaurant.

Nice location, fast service! But spending a very manageable amount of lukewarm buttons in a bowl without any garnish with a spoon stuck in the food as Kässpätzle for almost 14 euros is cheeky and worth at most 1 star. Estimated cost of goods 2 euros, that feels like a “tourinepp”, I will never need it again. My wife's vegetable schnitzel with rice and vegetables was warm and OK, although at a rather steep price.

The location and the view from the outside are nice. However, the completely arrogant, overwhelmed and sometimes brazen staff ruins the image.

Wonderful hike with perfectly marked paths from Überlingen to Haldenhof

Beautiful location, but what grumpy service. We sat down for a drink and were still deciding whether we wanted to have a drink/eat with it. After seeing the food from other guests, we decided not to eat anything here (it looked like it had been there for days). When we said we just wanted something to drink, we got an angry look and he just barely threw the drink on the table. When we wanted to pay by card, this was suddenly not possible. There was no sign anywhere that you could only pay with cash, after we produced some cash he suddenly had no more money to exchange. The question was whether we really wanted it back (we had to pay €9 and gave a €20 note.... What do you think?????). After we waited for a while for him to come back with the money, we got another angry look and without saying anything he went to the next customers. Unbelievable that this place has such high reviews. I would never go here again!

I cannot share these negative reviews. We were there with 4 people on July 25th, 24th There, we received courteous, competent service and wine-related advice. The food came within 20 minutes, everything was fine. Anyone who complains that the staff doesn't speak perfect German should stay at home. Where would our gastronomy be without these people? We wouldn't be able to stop and be served anywhere anymore because everything is closed. We really liked it at the Haldenhof, the food, the service, the ambience, the great view, we would like to come back and will recommend the place to others.

I don't understand all these negative reviews!! I was there on July 14, 2024 with a 50-person AV group. Nobody had any negative comments about the staff or the food. On the contrary!! Ok, two side salads were missing from our table, but they were delivered quickly!! It's a restaurant where there isn't always a waiter standing behind you to hang up or pour a drink 😀. There's probably always a lot going on! The view is magnificent!!! In any case, no one in our group complained and we would all come back!!! Many thanks to the Haldenhof team Elizabeth Richard

Is worth a visit. We've been there several times. Great view. Food made from regional products. You don't necessarily have to eat, you can drink something and enjoy the view. There is also a playground for children.

I'm really having a hard time with this review. But this was our personal experience: we were lucky that the waiter we had along the way was relatively nice - a small ray of hope. Unfortunately, that was it. The lady who “welcomed” us at the very beginning was really unfriendly and apparently annoyed by guests. A pity... Unfortunately the cheesecake didn't taste good at all. Very dry. The latte macchiato tasted quite watery. The Haldenhof benefits from the really beautiful location. We were really looking forward to this trip. But overall this was disappointing. It's a shame that negative reviews are deleted by a lawyer. However, this only became apparent later. You should also be able to take criticism in the catering industry. This is the only way to improve or eliminate mistakes.

Good food and a wonderful view of Lake Constance

Great view, the beer garden is beautifully maintained. Interiors are rustic due to their age, but clean. Toulettes, on the other hand, should get a renovation. Food: Kässpätzle are a dream, schnitzels are quite large, but a bit expensive in terms of price. Fries are always good for the kids.

You can imagine how many times you've eaten in restaurants at the age of 54, but we've never experienced anything so catastrophic. We were served by the unfriendly, most impudent waiter of all time (although the word “service” doesn’t really fit in this case). At 8 he didn't want to give us any more food. Cutlery and finally the loveless warmed food were reluctantly thrown at us. There were 3 of us!! entire tables were occupied (8 p.m. in the most beautiful weather) and the previously used tables weren't even cleared away.... 3 gentlemen who didn't speak German sat in front of the television and watched the European Championships instead. I had to go inside to be allowed to pay and they didn't even say thank you when paying. My question about the boss of the house was answered with "there is no boss here" and "you have a problem"?! You really have to imagine that as a paying guest…a slang like in prison. At 9:15 p.m. a small child was stung in the back by a bee and the father wanted to cool the sting of the terribly crying child with water. When he wanted to go to the toilet, they had already locked the door of the restaurant and you couldn't get in anymore. 21:15 !!!Dirty tables, nothing was cleared, It couldn't be worse.Haldenhof - how can you ruin your reputation like that? What a shame for this beautifully located restaurant

Beautiful location. Unfortunately completely incompetent staff. How sad that such an idyll has such bad staff. The service is terribly bad. Drink prices are okay. The price of the food is not good for the idyll. In short, you can drink a coffee there, which is also quite cheap (2.90 euros), enjoy the beautiful view and then go eat somewhere else. Under no circumstances come to eat until around 8 p.m.! You can't get anything there anymore😰 not even anything cold. No idea why it's open until 9:30 p.m. Maybe for the view😉

No recommendation for the restaurant. The outside area is definitely nice in the summer, but the inside is completely out of date. You have to like it. But the worst thing was the staff. The gentlemen gave the impression that they were serving a punishment. While we were sitting at the table, they had no qualms about pulling electrical cables across the tables with eating guests in a construction worker's tone. As I looked out the window while eating, an employee was standing there smoking his quick break cigarette and spitting into the bush. Very appetizing. The food was just okay, but not enough for the price. But we will definitely not be coming back again.

We were eating there with our group after a trip, and the surroundings initially looked promising. But as soon as we sat inside and ordered, it turned out that the service didn't speak German. We wanted to know if there was anything else in last week's burnt cheesecake. However, the waitress didn't understand us, so we finally ordered the cake. When the cake arrived, we discovered that there were tangerines in it. We passed on the cake and ordered a Coupe Denmark, "from Aldi". The service was rarely there and very unfriendly. As in the red light district, we ended up constantly being asked for tips and the service became increasingly unfriendly. In the end they even took the money out of a minor's pocket, which is why we complained. Absolutely not recommended. Now I have a stomach ache on the drive home. 👍

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my visit. The staff was unfriendly and not very helpful. The cheesecake I was looking forward to tasted burnt and was barely edible. A positive aspect was the beautiful view that you can enjoy from the terrace. Still, that's not enough to make up for the negative experiences. I hope the service and food quality will improve in the future.

Super nice place with a great view, but that's about it. Substandard service, order taken incorrectly and neither apologized nor corrected. Drinks are okay, but there's hardly anything wrong with them. Boasting about vegan food and then offering a dish and a (not well made) cake apart from salad is also unfair. We only visited the beer garden, not the hotel.

This inn significantly shifted the bar for the demise of German gastronomy. Visit Whit Monday afternoon. Start by looking through the menu... Asparagus dishes between €26 and €32! Conclusion: we actually just wanted to eat and not rent the shop. The “sausage salad” we ordered for €13 arrived within 2 minutes - it was definitely there from the night before and the landlord was probably happy to finally hand it out! That's how it tasted, not to mention the mini portion whose volume they tried to increase with cucumbers :(. The Maultaschen came from a can of Uncle Ben's that hadn't even been warmed up. The microwave was probably broken. But the wait for the beer was extended Over half an hour! The apology consisted of the ridiculous remark "the waiter doesn't speak German". The constant thirst was increased to the extent that the "beer garden" only served small glasses, which were well warmed tore the last two slices of bread from the table, which were supposed to fill us up, which the four of us were able to avoid due to our quick reaction. Each of us feasted on half a slice of bread. The view is great... But bring a picnic basket and a cooler bag if you want to enjoy them longer!

We were there again today. However, what we experienced today, Whit Monday at around 5 p.m., is unbelievable! Waited forever to order the food. Guests who arrived after us were served beforehand! My husband ordered a sausage salad and extra vinegar, I ordered asparagus toast. First came the side salad. Then nothing more for a long time. Then came my toast. Bread was untoasted and soggy, the asparagus was more cold than warm. I was almost finished with the toast - came the sausage salad. There was no extra vinegar. Waited forever again - asked several times. Then came a small gravy boat - with salad dressing - no vinegar! When paying, the waiter asked for a tip!! My husband gave him something. If the service wasn't enough - I threw it back on the table to my husband! and insulted him in Slavic language! Dear hosts - with such service you are scaring away all your guests!

I can't judge the hotel, the restaurant is not OK. Mini fish platter, unbelievable for the money, the top location is simply taken advantage of, "they'll be back anyway", service??? You can go there to have a beer.

Unfortunately only a passing restaurant....Food is presented carelessly.....bringing potatoes and fries separately in a bowl is out....No side salad, nothing to look at...It's a shame

Höhengasthaus Haldenhof, great location above Lake Constance. Gigantic view over the lake. Good-bourgeois dishes. Great terrace and beer garden! If you are in the Lake Constance region, a visit is definitely a good TIP.

The location is great! Unfortunately the food was a flop! The prices for these ready meals are not justified.

Food more than bad. Had fries schnitzel and salad, the breading skin fell off, the lemon dried up, the salt you had to order separately, the cheapest of the cheapest for 5 euros, fries ok. My friend had chicken schnitzel without breading, strange why schnitzel then? And pay 50 euros for a tiny corner of herb butter? That was definitely the last time there and when we left and only left a small amount of drink money, he said something after us. I mean Hungarian is stupid when you understand it because you are Hungarian yourself. Just as a tip we'd rather!!

Klare Empfehlung! Essen sehr lecker und freundlicher Service! Sind im Sommer bei guten Wetter öfters auf dem Haldenhof und absolut zufrieden! Wir kommen gerne wieder ☺️

Also, seit mehr als 50 Jahren „die“ Institution … Man muss einfach immer wieder hierher, schon des Ausblicks wegen. Leider hat sich aber etwas getan was nicht mehr akzeptabel ist - die Preusgestaltung ist unterirdisch - Käse- oder Schinkenbrot über 12 EUR… wir haben uns dann mit einer Tasse Kaffee begnügt

Wir waren mit der Familie dort, haben eine Kleinigkeit zu Essen bestellt. Ein Ministück Hacksteak (eher Frikadelle) war 80% aus Brot und "pappig". Sauce dazu mit 2 Stückchen Dosenpilzen und Fertigsauce - und das für fast 16 EUR! Als zweites Gericht ein großer gemischter Salat. Es kam eine handvoll Salat - nur Blätter ohne etwas anderes und nichtmal wirklich angemacht für 8,50 EUR - unliebsam auf den Teller geklatscht. Ich sprach die Bedienung die fast kein Deutsch konnte an, es musste eine zweite Dame dazukommen die dann patzig auf meine Frage "meinen Sie das ernst für den Preis?!?" reagierte und dann entnervt den Teller wieder mitnahm. Es kam kurz darauf ein bissl mehr Beilage zum Blattzeug, war aber nicht wirklich besser oder mehr! Kuchen war unschön teils zermatscht auf den Teller geklatscht, Kaffeetasse/ Unterteller im Kaffee schwimmend und ein 0,4 L MangoSprudelSchorle für 4,50 EUR. Aussicht und Location war toll, der Rest - sicher nie wieder! Wir waren nun zweimal innerhalb von 5 Jahren dort - es hat sich leider nichts gebessert! Die Betreiber haben es offensichtlich nicht nötig etwas zu verbessern, denn es ist gerade wegen der Location offensichtlich ja immer gut besucht...da kann man vergraulte Gäste vermutlich gut verschmerzen?!? Für uns heißt das: Ausflug zum "auf die Wiese setzen" und das Mitgebrachte Picknick und die Aussicht zu genießen - gerne, aber definitiv lassen wir kein Geld mehr dort...

The Haldenhof is lucky to be in a prime location without any competition. That's why you can afford correspondingly cheeky prices. Salad plate for €8.90 very small portion. Breaded schnitzel with soggy breading for €19.80......I wouldn't eat there again. The view and location are of course great. Service ok.

After 45 minutes no one feels responsible, after 3 waitresses they say I'm not responsible. That was very annoying and we left without anything.

The food itself was ok. Average. But the prices are totally exorbitant. There is NO salad included in the main courses. You have to order the side salad separately for €4.50. Yes, we are here on Lake Constance, but the salad should simply be included in a €20 meal. I've never experienced anything like this before.

Be careful, customer threatens to order or pay. We have now been to the Haldenhof twice with the family for coffee and cake. Unfortunately, both times it took ages for the cake and coffee we ordered to arrive. In addition, the cakes and coffee came at different times. There were six of us there and we were always polite. First, three cakes were delivered and two coffees. Half an hour (!) later, only the other three cakes and two coffees. Both times we kindly informed the service staff that we were missing coffee. After the cakes were eaten, the missing coffee arrived a quarter of an hour later. Unfortunately, the service staff are also very rude (possibly language barrier or stress?). You're almost afraid of ordering anything else. The coffee cups were only half full. The cake was ok. When we wanted to pay, one of the waiters just shook his head very rudely and said no. It's a shame, the view from Haldenhof is really worth seeing.

Recommended inn with a beautiful lake panorama - good food, great atmosphere, very pleasant service. A particularly nice place to stop after a long day of hiking. The walk to the inn is worth it! When you arrive you'll be really hungry for the well-prepared offerings at the Höhengasthaus 👍🏻 Probably 6/5 stars in the summer when everyone can sit outside and enjoy the view ☀️

So dear friends, a few lines of real talk from Sebastian. Absolutely top location in terms of the view, but the beer garden still throws around a non-existent concept (different chairs and tables, different parasols). The economy itself is also a stable, rustic hut, inviting. The food (old bread plus mold) is absolute rubbish, as is the beer (approx. 6-7 degrees) that is served there. It is unimaginable that a spot like this could be turned into a gourmet restaurant like this. Been there a few times and the service staff was nice. Annotation: Cool down the beer, eat fresher, bring the common thread to the beer garden.

After making a reservation by telephone, we arrived on time and stood in the rain in front of the closed door for about 10 minutes. Tables were being prepared inside and the staff noticed us. Neither knocking on the door or window nor attempts to contact them by telephone were met with any interest. So we had no choice but to turn back without having accomplished anything and have breakfast at home. Good thing we only had a journey of just under 20 km. Here you are obviously no longer dependent on guests. Addendum: Based on this review, I received a request from a law firm via Google Maps to delete it. In this way, dissatisfied guests and corresponding reviews can of course be eliminated. This approach alone says a lot about the place!

Achtung: negative Rezensionen werden gemeldet und nach ein paar Monaten gelöscht. Bis vor kurzem war der Gasthof noch mit gerade einmal 3 Sternen bewertet (obwohl er nicht mal einen verdient hat) und jetzt innerhalb von ein paar Wochen hat er wieder über 4,5 Sterne. Frech!!! Damit wird das Bild nach außen gezielt verfälscht. Nichts desto trotz: Wunderschöne Aussicht mit perfekter Lage im Grünen. Service und Essen lässt jedoch zu wünschen übrig. Als erstes muss ich sagen, dass das Schild am Eingang mit der Aufschrift „Wir stellen JEDEN ein“ vielleicht nochmal überdacht werden sollte. Die Gastwirtschaft stellt tatsächlich jede Arbeitskraft ein, worunter jedoch der Service sehr leidet: Wir hatten einen Platz im Biergarten reserviert. Als es stark zu regnen anfing hat uns der Kellner im Regen sitzen lassen. Wir wechselten daraufhin nach 15 Minuten eigenständig auf einen trockenen Platz. Von diesem wurden wir dann in gebrochenen Deutsch verscheucht mit der Begründung, er sei reserviert. Anstatt uns einen trockenen Platz anzubieten oder sich um uns zu kümmern wurden wir einfach weg geschickt. Wir suchten uns eigenständig einen Platz drinnen. Dort warteten weitere 30 Minuten vergeblich auf eine Bedienung. Erst durch Nachfrage ob wir denn bestellen dürfen kam eine sehr verärgerte Kellnerin. Die Getränke kamen zwar schnell, jedoch auch mehr schlecht als recht. Ein Ruß, welches eigentlich hauptsächlich aus Weizen und nur einem Schuss Limo besteht, wurde mit so viel Limo serviert, dass man durch das Weizenglas durchsehen konnte. Als die Hauptgerichte kamen, wurde die nächste Enttäuschung serviert. Spätzle in Pilz Rahm Soße mit gerade einmal 3 Pilzen und kaum Soße. Schnitzel für fast 20€ aus der Tiefkühltruhe. Die Gemüsemaultaschen wurden über 30 Minuten nach den restlichen Hauptgerichten serviert mit der Begründung die müssten so lange kochen. 30 Minuten??? Selten so lange gemüsemaultaschen kochen gesehen aber gut. Ein Gasthof der aufgrund der Lage wirklich Potenzial hat. Der Service, die überteuerten Preise und das schlechte Essen machen jedoch alles zu Nichte. Wirklich schade. Für den Ausblick würde ich wieder kommen, allerdings nicht um Geld dort zu lassen.

Aussicht ist unvergleichlich. Macht Defizite im Service wieder gut. Lange Wartezeiten und teils mürrisches Personal. Vesperplatte war aber reichlich und gut Nachtrag Oktober 2023 Bewertung soll gelöscht werden, da angeblich nie vor Ort waren. Besuch war am 19.07. An dem Tag war Alphornkonzert. Gibt Bilder dazu. Auch von den Speisen. Unsere Bewertung war ehrlich. Das Verhalten des Betreibers regt zum Nachdenken an. Zumal wohl bei anderen auch so verfahren wird. Dafür ein Stern Abzug, so was geht gar nicht und hier wird sicher der Eindruck verfälscht da such einige zum Löschen der Kritik nötigen lassen. Hätten sicher noch mal einen Besuch gemacht um zu sehen, ob sich was geändert hat. So aber nicht!

Schreckliches Essen und ein katastrophaler Service und absolut fragwürdiger Geschäftsführer. Auf Google wurden über 400 Rezensionen durch einen Anwalt gelöscht, um die Durchschnittsbewertung von unter 4 auf mittlerweile 4,5 Sterne zu heben. Die wahren Rezensionen sind hier und auf anderen Bewertungsportalen sichtbar.

Tolle Aussicht. Super Platz zum verweilen. Preise sind angemessen. Die Bedienung war allerdings überfordert. Sowohl beim Essen als auch bei den Getränken wurden mehrfach falsche Dinge geliefert. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist nicht so toll. Für die Qualität ist das Essen zu teuer. Das nächste mal trinke ich nur was. Trotzdem einen Besuch wert.

Besuch war am 24.06.23: Tolle Aussicht, Speisen gut, nur der Service war sehr schlecht. Man muss lange warten und wird unfreundlich behandelt. Am Ende wird noch ein Trinkgeld erwartet und beim Wunsch nach Kartenzahlung die Augen verdreht, da noch extra das Lesegerät geholt werden muss. Im Oktober 2023 versucht der Betreiber nun meine Rezension löschen zu lassen. So ein Verhalten ist inakzeptabel.

Unsere gesamte Beerdigungsveranstaltung mit ca. 20 Personen wurde vergessen, das Personal hat uns einen Ausweichraum zur Verfügung gestellt welcher beengt war. Alle Beteiligten waren sehr enttäuscht. Portionen sind lecker, aber zu klein (versteckte Preiserhöhung?) Das Gasthaus hat einen Dienstleister beauftragt um schlechte Bewertungen löschen zu lassen. Obwohl daran steht das Rezensionen nicht überprüft werden. @Dienstleister: Veranstaltung war am 13. September, gucken sie nach. Und auf ihre Nachricht hin dass ich kein Kunde gewesen sein soll: ich kann ihnen meine Standortdaten an diesen Tag mit Uhrzeit zukommen lassen

Ausser einer super Lage nichts geboten. Essen 08/15. Schmeckte eher nach Fertigfutter. Personal wirkte gestresst und genervt. Eigentlich gab es noch ein paar Punkte. Wir waren da und werden sicherlich nicht mehr kommen. Schade!!!

Super Ausblick auf den Bodensee. Trotz eines vollen Biergarten waren die Wartezeiten im Rahmen. Die Bedienungen waren angespannt aber denoch freundlich. Essen war sehr gut. Der Biergarten ist urgemütlich. Waren heute zum ersten Mal hier und kommen garantiert wieder.

Sehr schöne Aussicht meiner Meinung nach gutes Essen und Trinken alles Top. Waren an einem Sonntag da obwohl es voll war kamen wir schnell an die Reihe und hatten zügig essen und Trinken.

Zimmer wird demnächst ausprobiert. Super Lokation, vernünftige Preise Habe leider nichts gegessen 😢 Wird aber nachgeholt Personal, Chefin und Chef Schwer in Ordnung Ein wahrer Ruhepol...

Das Essen hätte man etwas liebevoller anrichten können, geschmeckt hat es uns aber sehr gut 👍

Riesig große Gartenwirtschaft für Wanderer. Tolle location für sämtliche Feier. Es gab leider nur die kleine Karte, da Personal fehlte für den Andrang. Essen lecker und schnell serviert. Eiskaffee war leider zu süß. Sonst alles top !!!!

Sehr schöner Ort mit herrlichen Blick auf den See! Ein riesiger Biergarten mit einer großen Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken!

Wir haben die 3 Tage im Haldenhof genossen und waren rundum zufrieden. Zimmer sauber und mit allem was es braucht. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet und freundliche Gastgeber mit Personal.

Wir wurden sehr schnell und freundlich bedient. Beim Essen allerdings gibt es noch Luft nach oben. Die Lage ist sehr schön.

Zu den Zimmern konnte ich nichts sagen, haben nur draußen gegessen. Und das war absolut köstlich, bei schönster Aussicht.

Das Essen war nicht gut, enttäuscht noch nie habe ich es so bereut. Fleischküchle war nach anschneiden nur Matsch. Pilzrahmsosse mit 2 Pilzstückchen, Sahne pur. Nichts von schwäbischer Küche.

Uriger Gasthof mit einer richtig tollen Aussicht auf den Bodensee. Trotz langem Warten auf ein Essen (Das Essen meines Mannes kam erst als ich fertig war) fanden wir es sehr schön. Essen war lecker und die Kinder konnten auf dem kleinen Spielplatz direkt bei den Tischen spielen, was für uns sehr entspannt war. Die lange Wartezeit und die gestressten Bedienungen die hier oft angemerkt werden hängen meiner Meinung nach an dem generellen Personalmangel in der Branche und kommt zu der Hochsaison in den Ferien natürlich vor. Wir fanden es auf jeden Fall sehr schön dort und können es weiter empfehlen!

Wir sind im Jahr mindestens dreimal hier. Die Aussicht ist einzigartig, das lasse Ich mir gerne etwas mehr beim Essen und Trinken kosten. Es gibt wenigstens noch einen Service, und wenn man freundlich ist wird man ebenso freundlich bedient!!! Einfach reintrampeln, ohne zu warten bis einem der Tisch zugewiesen wird, ist heutzutage eben nicht mehr der Standard! Anstand lernt man eben, auch wenn man nur Tourist ist. Die, welche meinen, ihr Vesper selbst mitbringen zu müssen, denen würde Ich raten, dieses am Hang in den Brennesseln eininzunehmen! Wir freuen Uns auf's nächste Mal bei Euch.

Wir fahren seit vielen Jahren zum Bodensee, waren aber zum ersten mal hier. Es war ein unglaublicher Ausblick. Wahnsinn. Das sollte bei jedem Urlauber/in auf dem Plan stehen. Auch das Lokal ist sehr schön. Wie hatten tolles Wetter und saßen im Biergarten. Viel natürlichen Schatten mit einem leichten Wind. Herrlich. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, die Getränke kamen schnell. Für die kleinen Gäste gab es einen Spielbereich. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Waren wie viele Anderen leicht entsetzt, wie man in der Hauptsaison 2 Tage die Woche einfach schließt. Personalknappheit hin oder her, das ist wohl nicht der Weisheit letzter Schluss ! Wir werden den langen Weg dorthin nicht mehr fahren. Schade für den tollen Ausblick !

Hier gibt es noch echt Deutsche Küche. Ist ja hier in Deutschland zur Seltenheit geworden. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch.

Leckeres Essen zum fairen Preis. Viel Platz zum Essen und Relaxen! Super Aussicht auf den Bodensee dazu!

Wir kamen auf einer Fahrradtour hier eher per Zufall vorbei und waren von diesem Ort mitten in der Natur begeistert, megatolle Aussicht praktisch über die ganze Länge des Bodensees. Die Speisekarte war reichlich, das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis angemessen und die Wartezeiten waren ebenfalls völlig okay. Allein die Freundlichkeit vom Service könnte noch etwas besser sein. Ein Lächeln und etwas Ansprache des Gastes gehört eben auch zum Gastgewerbe. Da letzteres sehr subjektiv ist, haben wir das in unserer Tagesform vielleicht so empfunden, machen dafür aber keinen Sternabzug. Fazit: dieser Ort ist, wenn man in dieser Gegend ein paar Tage Urlaub verbringt oder eine nette Lokation für eine Mittagspause bei der Fahrt auf der B31n sucht, ein MUSS !!

Essensqualität paßt so für ein Massenlokal, ABER: Bedienungen (ja, unsere Erfahrung umfaßt gleich mehrere Personen) sind unterirdisch, der Chef gleich mit dazu! Da der Service unterirdisch war, hatten wir auf Trinkgeld verzichtet. Beim Bezahlen rechnet der Kellner gleich ein Trinkgeld mit ein. Beim Nachhaken dann der saudumme Spruch, daß er kein Wechselgeld habe! Daraufhin Beschwerde beim Chef. Dieser drückt uns zunächst tonlos das Geld hin, ist aber genauso eingeschnappt (offenbar hat automatisch eingezogenes Trinkgeld dort Tradition!). Ergebnis: NIE WIEDER! Der Laden hat an dem Standort wenig Konkurrenz und zeigt das auch gleich jedem Gast.

Wie kann man so etwas als Essen verkaufen? Dazu muss man nicht Koch lernen. Das kann die Putzfrau bestimmt besser.

Die Lage ist einzigartig und die Aussicht hervorragend. Ein weitere Top ist die Unfreundlichkeit! Wir wurden selten so Unfreundlich und mürrisch bedient - also das war echt unglaublich und toppt die Aussicht im negativen Sinne bei Weitem.

Déplorable. Plats très basiques avec juste p d t sans sauce. Plat d'asperges avec juste pdt aussi et sa sauce hollandaise qui n'était que de la mayonnaise avec du citron.

Wollte mit meinen Freunden einen schönen Mittag bei guter Aussicht und Kaffee und Kuchen verbringen. Die Aussicht war wunderschön der Himbeerkuchen war ganz schlecht da die Himbeere teilweise noch gefroren war .Bei den zwei bestellten Latte war einer nur halb voll. Und der Höhepunkt der mehr als unfreundliche Kellner. Unsere Bekannte waren bisher zwei Monate in Europa unterwegs aber so einen schlechten Service haben sie auf ihrer Reise noch nie erlebt.
