Nice restaurant directly at Stuttgart Möhringen train station. The food was very good (onion roast with fries and side salad). The staff was friendly and attentive. The price/performance ratio is very good.
The ambiance with the large roof terrace is nice. Since I'm vegan, I usually order fries and a small garden salad. They're currently serving the delicious vegan wild garlic soup again. The prices are a bit higher, but the fries taste better and are even cheaper than at the well-known fast food chains. So: top!

If you've always wanted to know what a Greek tragedy feels like live, you should definitely go to Cavos Taverna in Stuttgart. We had already made reservations in December 2024 for a visit on April 12, 2025 - what a naive belief that that would achieve anything. After only 30 minutes of waiting we finally got a table. Tension until the end – almost like a surprise dinner.
The kitchen presented itself creatively: three of the six dishes were cold, probably served fresh from the fridge to simulate the Mediterranean wind on the plate. Two portions of fries remained a mystery - ordered, never seen, paid for anyway. Maybe meant symbolically?
Our polite inquiry was peppered with a mixture of excuses and accusations - it was the waiter's fault, they said. To be honest, we just felt sorry for him because he was the only one with any visible motivation.
Conclusion: Cavos Taverna – the perfect place if you are hungry, have time and have enough nerve. For everyone else: There are also places in Stuttgart where food and service actually go together.
Everything good, except that we had to wait 45 minutes between the first dish and the second (tomahawk). The waiters were very friendly and attentive at all times, but the waitresses were not. The waitress Sandra could be more delicate and polite and the older lady too.
Zahlreiche Tische vor der Markthalle, also blieben wir draußen. Der erste Eindruck war ein lautstarker Streit der Kellner untereinander. Nach langer Wartezeit wurden auch die Gäste wahrgenommen und nach ihren Wünschen befragt. Die Bestellung haben wir vorsichtig und zurückhaltend aufgegeben, um den ohnehin schon aufgebrachten Kellner etwas zu beruhigen. Das Essen kam dann wieder nach langer Wartezeit, war kaum noch warm und entsprach schwäbischer Gasthausküche ; wirklich nicht schlecht , aber auch nicht besonders interessant. Nach wiederum langer Wartezeit haben wir die Rechnung erhalten und haben dieses Lokal verlassen. Trinkgeld haben wir uns in diesem Fall erspart, wofür hätte es auch sein sollen ??
Wir waren im Rahmen meines privaten Events mit 10 Personen zum Abendessen in der Denkbar. Wir fanden die Auswahl an Abendessen für diese Gelegenheit sehr passend. Und von allen eingeladenen Gästen kam eine positive Rückmeldung zur Qualität des Essens. Hinzu kam ein schöner Tisch für den Abend und ein hervorragender Service. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
I don't understand all the criticism at all. I'm actually from Munich and Regensburg, and I've never had a good pizza in Stuttgart—NEVER! Now, by chance, I ordered from this restaurant, and I have to say it's the best pizza I've had in a long time. Incredibly delicious. The buffalo mozzarella and the Parma ham are incredibly good quality! Very, very tasty, I highly recommend it.
We celebrated our wedding in Arton's restaurant, everything was very nice. Arton and his team are very professional and friendly. The decoration and food were beautiful and elaborately prepared. Even if we had to change the date at short notice, Arton organized everything. In short, I would definitely recommend the restaurant, both for individual meals and for organizations. ❤️
