The service was also friendly and attentive, the food was served quickly - there's nothing to complain about. A small point of criticism concerns the cutlery. Overall, it wasn't particularly sharp, which was a bit inconvenient, especially with sourdough bread. Nevertheless: An all-round successful visit, I'll definitely be back!

The food is very tasty, large portions, intense sauces, fries well seasoned, meat of good quality and well done. We even got a greeting from the kitchen, nice chef who knows what good food means.

Highly recommended for a casual visit, e.g. for a beer/coke/burger after judo training in the Grütthalle. Individuals and small groups are always warmly and personally welcomed here, especially again 🤩 . Prices are very fair, the cheeseburger is absolutely delicious 😋. Depending on the club, parking spaces are more or less good, but free of charge. Bus stop about 300m away.

My beautiful blonde wife and I often eat there. Unfortunately, this has happened several times: when I order for my wife and me alone, my wife doesn't get any food, but I do. However, this only happens when a younger Arab man is working there alone. He always says in a friendly voice, "You only placed one order." If this happens again, there will be a clarifying conversation with the manager, and the young man will also be present.

You can feel the stress and the occasional unfriendly person; it's better to hold back your requests. The food is nicely presented, but the portions are unfortunately small and the flavors are no longer as delicious as they used to be. The seating is dated; many of the chairs wobble and the upholstery has a springy feel; it's very uncomfortable for a pleasant evening. We went to Vanilla for the second time with 18 birthday guests. It was a disappointment. As hosts, it was embarrassing that we couldn't offer our guests what they would expect for the price. Unfortunately, the restaurant has deviated a long way from its beginnings in terms of taste and hospitality.

We came to this special inn by chance. Both dishes, Baden sausage salad and Veal liver with mashed potatoes were very, very good! The veal liver was the best I can ever remember. Prepared with craftsmanship and excellent taste. Chocolate tart for dessert was also a highlight. Excellent service, friendly and attentive. Will be happy to come back at the next opportunity. We couldn't have asked for a better location for our wedding! From the first planning meeting to the big day, everything was organized perfectly. We would particularly like to highlight our wonderful contact person Mey – she was an absolute stroke of luck! With her warm manner, her professionalism and her eye for detail, she fulfilled our every wish with ease and ensured that everything ran smoothly. She always had good ideas and tips, we are incredibly grateful to her for everything! The buffet was also great – super tasty and beautifully presented. Our guests were absolutely thrilled and many of them told us afterwards how much they enjoyed the food. And the location... I think the pictures speak for themselves. Simply stunning. All of our guests and of course we were completely thrilled! We are overjoyed to have celebrated this special day in such a wonderful place - an absolute recommendation, thank you very much!

Due to its northern orientation, you can enjoy your non-alcoholic beer outside in the shade in summer. The fries were good too.
