Joker Bistro in Lörrach

A definite recommendation! Very friendly service, who already knew what we wanted after our second visit. The food is delicious: large portions, rich sauces, well-seasoned fries, and good-quality meat cooked to perfection. We even received a welcome from the kitchen, a friendly chef who knows what good food means.

Ever since our first visit to Ejona in Lörrach, we've been drawn back again and again. The people are incredibly warm and welcoming; you immediately feel at home. The food is always excellent, no matter what we order. For me, it's one of those places where you simply love to sit, eat, and feel comfortable.

Yesterday, September 4, 2025, I had dinner at the Alte Laube for the first time with my wife. The warm welcome from the chef made us feel immediately at home. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food, creamed schnitzel with spaetzle and hunter's schnitzel with croquettes, was excellent. The dessert of crunchy cups with an additional "robber's spoon" was delicious and rounded off the evening in the beautiful and cozy Alte Laube. The prices are also absolutely reasonable for what is offered. We will definitely be back.

Very friendly service. Simple, fresh, and handmade dishes. Very deliciously prepared. While the ambiance is nothing more than a clubhouse atmosphere, I would still gladly visit the restaurant again.
