E Jona is a very popular restaurant in Lörrach, where a reservation is highly recommended. The food and the ambience are great and the staff is also very friendly. I'd love to come back :-)!

We had a wonderful dinner here recently. We made a reservation, arrived on time and were seated right away. We nestled into our cozy table in the back of the restaurant near the piano. The ambience was perfect - romantic lighting, warmth from the heater on a cold night kept us warm and the location of the table was ideal for a date night. The attentiveness and service of the staff was impeccable. The menu provided a wide variety of delicious options and the specials of the day added even more diversity of flavors. The cadence with which the food was brought to the table and taken away was executed flawlessly, there was not one delay or mistake. The service team quickly adjusted to ad hoc needs. For example, sensing without us having to even explain that we wanted to share the appetizers, they brought additional plates and cutlery so we did not have to eat directly from the main plates. When we placed our order we explained that we don’t eat pork or drink alcohol, and the entire staff ensured our choices were aligned to this request (e.g. scampi appetizer was made without wine). The food was flavorful, tasted fresh and was nicely plated. The warmth, kindness and hospitality of the staff made the evening special and very memorable. We will definitely be back soon for another date night. Thank you to the E Jona team for an exquisite experience.

Horrible, unfriendly service in a loud atmosphere with little freedom of movement. This ruins the really good quality of the food. What a shame! But for 180 euros I expect really good, attentive and above all friendly service in a pleasant atmosphere. Loud family conversations next to me and equally loud IT girls talking on the phone behind me are not included for this price. I don't need it again.

Wir werden ein Restaurant besuchen, das „Ejona“ in Lörrach. Dieses Restaurant ist mit großem, wirklich sehr großem Abstand das beste, nicht nur im Kreis Lörrach, sondern weit darüber hinaus. Und wenn ich das sage, dann meine ich es nicht nur wegen des unglaublich guten Essens. Ich weiß nicht, was die Jungs in der Küche da zaubern, aber es schmeckt unfassbar lecker. Man könnte problemlos die ganze Karte durchprobieren, und jedes Gericht wäre ein Genuss. Aber es ist nicht nur das Essen – auch die besondere Gastfreundschaft, die die Mädels und Jungs am Tisch an den Tag legen, ist einfach außergewöhnlich. Genau so sollte Gastronomie sein. Genau so sollte ein Restaurant geführt werden. So sollte ein Restaurant, eine Bar oder was auch immer funktionieren und den Gästen gegenüber auftreten. Hier fühlt man sich wirklich wie ein König. Also, wer sich mal wie ein König fühlen will, ab ins Restaurant Ejona!😉

Food was good, the children's plate (pasta and tomato sauce) could have tasted better, the tiramisu wasn't quite to our taste, which rarely happens with homemade dishes. The food at E Jona is simply delicious!! No matter what I've ordered from the menu so far, it's always been delicious. I can especially recommend the Cordon Bleu with spaetzle! But the risotto is also amazing :-) Our absolute favorite restaurant!

Yesterday at lunchtime I had a business lunch in Lörrach and overall I was more than thrilled. I was greeted in a very friendly and friendly manner. The fact that I didn't make a reservation wasn't a problem at all. On the contrary... we asked in a straightforward manner whether we would prefer to sit outside or inside. The friendliness of the team conveys to you: "Hey, nice to have you here!" The lunch menus have a good and fair price-performance ratio. The waiters work as a team and are attuned to one another. Every now and then a few words in passing to check if everything is okay. 😊 My menu was really tasty and there was no trace of finished products when eating. If I'm in Lörrach, I'll go there again. Give it a try! 👍🏻

I've been coming to this great restaurant very regularly for a few months. Very good dishes, always fresh ingredients and preparation, perfect service. The dishes are imaginative and creative and of the highest culinary quality. Farouk and his entire team are friendly, attentive, courteous, quick and guest satisfaction is a priority. Everything was very professional - a real experience. Reorder requests are fulfilled before they have been expressed - eye contact is enough. Really super good quality of food and service - and everything was authentically friendly and not fake. For me one of the best restaurants in Baden in its class - if not the best. Without question. The service and ambience that E Jona offers is natural and very warm. The staff responded to our wishes and needs and also made a vegan dish possible. Most of the dishes had a pleasant taste, but occasionally a little spice was missing. The entrecôte is recommended; here the chef achieves the desired cooking perfectly. The sliced ​​meat was good but unfortunately a bit salty and too mushroomy. The taste of the meat was literally lost, even the Rösti with its actually very intense potato flavor couldn't be tasted because of the intensity of the mushrooms. The schnitzel was perfectly prepared and so was the spaetzle. The raviolo were pleasant but a bit overcooked. As far as the gnocchi is concerned, it was an absolute highlight. It should be on the menu as well as it tastes good - a perfect vegan meal 😋

Food, service, ambience all 10 out of 10. I keep coming back, it's my favorite restaurant in the area. Everyone will find something suitable on the menu. My recommendations to you: Bruschetta starter, main course spicy beef strips or entrecote/fillet steak, dessert Creme Brulee. I have rarely eaten so well anywhere else and have been to many places in the world.

Wir waren an einem Freitag zum Mittagessen im E-Jona und bekamen sehr gutes Essen mit einem frischen guten gemischten Salat und dann mit einem sehr schön gebratenen Zanderfilet mit Zucchini Tagliatelle an einer guten Weisswein- Petersilie Sauce ! Dann auch noch ein Espresso oder Affocado mit dem Schwarzwälder Dessert war alles super ! Vielen Dank

The food was good, but unfortunately the service was not. We had to wait over 1 hour for the main course. After that, we only had about 15 minutes for dessert before the table changed at 8 a.m. The boss then only wanted to offer the “quick” desserts, but we were then served the desserts we wanted, this time in quick succession. We were asked out of the restaurant at 10 after 8 o'clock. If you specify a 2-hour window, then the service must also work. We won't come back again.

Das E-Jona hat uns wieder ein sehr gutes Mittagessen serviert ! Zuerst mit frischem Brot und dann mit einer guten Kartoffel- Lauch- Creme Suppe, resp. mit einem frischen Beilagen Salat und als Hauptgang mit einem Osso Bucco und Polente an einer Braten Sauce alles war wieder wunderbar !

I've been to this restaurant at least 10 times and have never been disappointed. At first glance it doesn't seem cheap, but the quality of the food and service is absolutely right. Special requests are accommodated in a friendly manner and the boss always has an open ear. The meat is tender and the vegetables are not overcooked like they often are in other restaurants. The places are often fully booked - I would recommend making a reservation in advance.

We ate there on Friday and were unfortunately disappointed. We ordered the avocado and tomato bruschetta, the ravioli with venison filling and the grilled prawns with saffron risotto. The bruschettas were nothing special, little taste, just boring. The ravioli was okay, the venison stuffing didn't taste quite as good; It felt like 6 ravioli for €23.50, which is just too expensive. The sage butter sauce that came with it was extremely watery and barely tasted like butter. Could it have been margarine? The saffron risotto would have been okay if there hadn't been paprika in it, but it doesn't fit at all as it completely overpowers the whole taste of the prawns and saffron; Unfortunately the shrimp were too cooked. And for dessert there was sorbet (very crystallized) and the pistachio cream tart, which was okay, but wouldn't persuade me to eat here again. Service was very friendly. In summary: more appearance than reality

Das Lokal war für uns in einem ganz neuem Stil mit neuen bequemen Polster- Bänken, -Stühlen und Natur- Holz -Tischen im Bistro Look ! Ja auch der gemischte Salat war in neuem Teller sehr gut angemacht, dann auch der Hirsch- Ragout mit dem feinen Kartoffelstock war fein !

Lokal liegt etwas abseits der Fußgängerzone, hinter dem Alten Markt Richtung Wiese. Parken eher schlecht. Vielleicht in der Straße, die am Hieber-Markt vorbeigeht. Am Ende gutes eine Treppe nach oben. Ich hatte tollen Zander mit Risotto. Die Hirschravioli waren auch gut, allerdings die Portion dort etwas klein. Service war schnell und freundlich. Es wird in zwei Schichten gegessen. 18-20h und 20-22h. Die Tische stehen zu dicht zusammen. Große Schaufenster mit Blick auf die Straße dürfen einen nicht stören. Preise eher gehoben. Am 20€ bis 50€ je Gericht

Das Essen wird mit grosser Leidenschaft zubereitet und ist sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker. Über den Chef kann ich nur gutes sagen. Er ist unkompliziert und äusserst freundlich und aufmerksam.

Nice restaurant in town. I had the roasted chicken breast with risotto. The chicken and mango sauce was really good but the risotto was undercooked (still crunchy inside). The portion is on the small side. Service was good.
