Was soll ich sagen? Ein verstecktes mediterranes Juwel mitten in Lörrach. Keine Frage, die Küche ist wirklich erstklassig. Dazu der fantastische Service und die entspannte Atmosphäre – einfach perfekt. Die Garnelen mit Gnocchi und das Saltimbocca waren ein Traum. 10/10

War gestern zum ersten Mal dort nachdem mir es empfohlen wurde. Was kann ich sagen? Außer dass ich das Essen wahnsinnig lecker fand und das das Personal sehr freundlich waren

Tolles Restaurant. Guter Service. Sehr gutes Essen. Beeindruckend wie viel gutes Essen aus dieser kleinen Küche kommt 😉. Ich bin Vegetarier und mir sagte das Angebot nicht zu. Da bekam ich eine Empfehlung, die sehr lecker war (trotz der Hektik).

Besonders hervorzuheben sind auch die Hausweine, die mit viel Charakter und Genuss das kulinarische Erlebnis perfekt abrunden. Was diesen Ort jedoch ganz besonders macht, ist die aussergewöhnliche Herzlichkeit des Chefs. Seine Gastfreundschaft, Aufmerksamkeit und spürbare Leidenschaft verleihen dem Restaurant eine persönliche Note, die in Erinnerung bleibt. Ein Ort, den man mit grosser Freude weiterempfiehlt und den man immer wieder gerne besucht.

Alles war super. Wenn ich etwas kritisieren müsste, dann wäre es die Enge. Man sitzt etwas zu eng beieinander. Am Essen und am Service gab es nichts auszusetzen.

Ich esse oft hier und bin immer sehr zufrieden. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und gut organisiert; es gibt keine langen Wartezeiten. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!

War gestern zum 4. mal im Ejona. Es war wie jedesmal hervorragend. Die Bedienung ist absolut genial, mega freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Dort gibt es das beste Entrecote, dass ich jemals hatte!!

Ich komme immer wieder sehr gerne in dieses Restaurant. Was es für mich besonders macht, ist das unglaublich herzliche Personal. Man wird jedes Mal so freundlich empfangen und fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr familiär und genau das schätze ich sehr. Man merkt, dass hier mit viel Liebe gearbeitet wird. Und auch das Essen schmeckt jedes Mal richtig, richtig gut. Für mich ein Ort, an den ich immer wieder gerne zurückkomme. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Heute 14/feb/2026 19:40 mit einer Reservation von 18-20Uhr Es gibt sowohl Positives als auch Negatives zu sagen. Zuerst das Positive: Der Service war sehr schnell, was ich wirklich schätze. Leider gab es auch einige Punkte, die unsere Erfahrung negativ beeinflusst haben: 1. Der Herr, der uns bedient hat, war leider überhaupt nicht freundlich. Es wirkte so, als ob er gestresst war und diesen Stress an uns weitergegeben hat. 2. Das Essen war insgesamt zu salzig, und die Pommes waren hart bzw. nicht ausreichend durchgegart. 3. Als wir darum baten, das Rinderfilet etwas weiter zu garen, reagierte der Kellner sichtbar verärgert. Zwar wurde unser Wunsch letztlich erfüllt, jedoch nicht auf eine angenehme Art. Das Filet war dannach immer noch nicht well done. 4. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrung denke ich nicht, dass ich dieses Lokal erneut besuchen werde, und ich würde es momentan auch nicht weiterempfehlen. 5. Zusätzlich wurden wir vom Kellner etwa 20 Minuten vor dem Ende unserer Reservierung aufgefordert, das Restaurant zu verlassen, was wir als sehr unangenehm und respektlos empfunden haben. Diese Rückmeldung ist nicht böse gemeint, sondern soll konstruktiv sein. Ich hoffe sehr, dass die genannten Punkte verbessert werden können, damit zukünftige Gäste eine deutlich bessere Erfahrung machen und nicht Ähnliches erleben müssen wie wir.

E Jona hat mir richtig gut gefallen. Das Essen war hervorragend und die Teller waren wunderschön angerichtet und dekoriert. Das Personal war super nett und aufmerksam. Besonders toll fand ich, dass man die Küche von den Plätzen aus sehen kann, das macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Das Ambiente ist elegant, modern und gleichzeitig gemütlich, mit warmem Licht und einer sehr schönen Atmosphäre. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir wurden von Anfang an herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort willkommen. Die Beratung war auf allen Ebenen kompetent und aufmerksam, und die Qualität der Lebensmittel war hervorragend. Das Ambiente ist stilvoll und gemütlich – perfekt für einen entspannten Abend. Preislich ist das Erlebnis jeden Euro wert, besonders das 5-Gang-Überraschungsmenü, das wir absolut empfehlen können. Jeder Gang war kreativ, geschmacklich top und wunderschön präsentiert. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Carbonara konnte leider nicht ganz mit dem hohen Niveau der restlichen Gerichte mithalten. Insgesamt aber ein großartiges kulinarisches Erlebnis – wir kommen gerne wieder! Eines der besten Essen der letzten paar Jahre!

Ever since our first visit to Ejona in Lörrach, we've been drawn back again and again. The people are incredibly warm and welcoming; you immediately feel at home. The food is always excellent, no matter what we order. For me, it's one of those places where you simply love to sit, eat, and feel comfortable.

The ambiance is lovely, and the atmosphere is generally very pleasant. The food was excellent. The service was very attentive. The only criticism is the wine list. The selection is very small and nothing special; they offer cheap wines that you can buy in any supermarket for a few euros. We ordered a bottle of wine and were very disappointed when we tasted it. We were told that the bottle was now open and we couldn't choose a different wine. We've never experienced anything like this before. What's the point of tasting the wine if we have to drink it anyway, regardless of whether it's good or not?

My wife and I spent a short break in Lörrach from September 6th to 9th. On Saturday evening, we ate at Ejona. We sat on the terrace, and despite the busy schedule, everything went smoothly. The food was excellent and the service impeccable. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed the next day, but we ate there again on Monday evening, this time inside. There was very pleasant bar music playing, and the food and service were once again perfect. Another positive aspect is that the chef is really involved and doesn't just stand around.

This place is so great we repeated in our short visit there. Great service and great food. Don’t look further, this is place.

The lunch set at E Jona is always a highlight. The dishes are fresh, creative, and well-balanced. You can immediately tell that the cooking here is done with passion. I particularly like the changing selection, which always offers new surprises and offers excellent value for money. The ambiance is modern yet cozy. The service is always attentive and warm. A major plus: the owner is extremely friendly and knows many of the regulars personally, including their preferences. This creates a very special, family-like atmosphere.

I ate at Ejona for the 4th time yesterday and I can't fault anything at all. The food is always a 10 out of 10. I've never eaten such a good piece of lamb.

The food tastes okay, and the portions are reasonable. The presentation of the dishes isn't that great. The waiters are very friendly. It lacks detail, but if you just want a quick bite to eat, it's okay here.

Even though Weinbrennerstrasse is now a bicycle street, plenty of cars and the city bus still drive past the restaurant. Unfortunately, that can't be changed.

I ate at Restaurant Ejona yesterday and today – the food was so incredibly good that I had to go back today! I can truly recommend it to everyone. Super friendly service and a great crowd – simply an all-around wonderful atmosphere!

The interior is very stylish, with fast and friendly service! The outside area is a bit dull. The dishes are also quite nice, with some unusual options and nice combinations. But unfortunately, the value for money isn't quite right. The portions are quite small, but the taste isn't particularly outstanding.

It used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but the recent dinner was quite disappointing. The quality of the food was significantly worse than before, but the prices have skyrocketed. Disappointing experience from my used to be favorite restaurant. This was the last time visiting them.

It was excellent, as always! The owners and the entire service were very friendly and attentive, as always! The food was excellent! We enjoy coming here every time and have never been disappointed.

We were here for business, and everything was just perfect. The service was friendly and always made sure our glasses weren't empty. The main course was even timed to coincide with our appetizers. The food may be a bit on the expensive side, but it's worth the money; my risotto alone was the secret star of the dish, overshadowing the beautifully tender fillet in terms of flavor. I can only give this place my full recommendation for a visit and look forward to my next visit.

The food is really really good. Was my favorite shop for a long time. But I really can't handle these time slots. The plates are literally snatched from you immediately after the last bite and shortly before 8 you get the bill without being asked and please leave immediately. It's a real shame that it has more of a train station feel and eats down and goes instead of eating and drinking comfortably. Unfortunately I won't be coming anymore...

Essen ist eigentlich sehr gut. Leider wurde man nicht gefragt wie man das Rindsfilet wünscht und es war viel zu wenig durch. Wiel zu blutig, praktisch roh. Schade. Mango curry risotto war sagenhaft. Service ist super. Die offenen Weine waren auch sehr gut. Wir kommen wieder mal, aber dann werde ich betonen, dass ich mein Fleisch medium rare mag. Der Kellner sollte bei der Bestellung fragen. Super auch, dass gleich ein Parkhaus darunter ist. Anfahrt ist einfach. Ambiance ist ok. Hat was von nem Bistro.. Aber ist nicht speziell und der Grund dorthin zu gehen. Das Essen ist der Grund. Die Tische stehen etwas zu nah nebeneinander. Ich will nicht die Unterhaltungen der anderen Tische aufgedrängt bekommen.

Un ristorante molto elegante. Ci sono piatti sia italiani che tedeschi. Ho scelto ravioli ripieni di melanzane. Era un ottimo piatto. Per un attimo ho dimenticato di essere fuori Italia... ma... i prezzi sono un po' alti considerando che si paga intorno a 23 euro per un piatto di pasta. Volevo prendere filetto di salmone ma quando ho visto che costava 28,90 euro, ho rinunciato... per i prezzi ho tolto una stella ma il resto... tutto perfetto...

We were there on a Saturday evening and, thanks to the great manager, got a table at short notice and with a bit of luck. So I would definitely recommend making a reservation. The food and the friendly treatment of the guests seem to be the absolute top priority here. The child-friendliness should also be particularly mentioned. The treatment and care towards my 2-year-old son was really great, my son's behavior showed that he felt really comfortable! There is only one thing to say about the food: TOP! We spontaneously ate there on January 27th, 2025. We initially got a table that was further away from the others because they were fully booked, but as soon as there was space we were moved to a table that was more "happening" without asking. The ambience is beautiful, the service was courteous, friendly and you felt comfortable. Food was definitely a 12/10. I have eaten in many good restaurants, but have rarely had such a perfect fillet of beef. The 5-course menu (ordered without fish) was very well put together, exceptional cuisine but everything tasted incredibly well and fit together. Also perfect for good eaters as the portions are not too small. Overall, I liked it so much that I'm going back today.

Mittagstisch. Zucchini-Carpaccio und Gnocchi mit Gorgonzola-Sauce und Birne. Beides lecker, beides aromatisch und ausgewogen gewürzt. Die Gorgonzola-Sauce waren ungewöhnlich dezent, aber fein aromatisch abgestimmt. Guter Espresso. Sehr freundlicher Service. Zügige Bedienung. Sehr angemessenes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, auch bei den Getränken. Wirklich zu empfehlen.

We reserved a table yesterday. I find this restaurant way too bright and too small and crowded. You sit right next to the other guests and there is little privacy. The friendliness of the owners is rather arrogant and the food is far too expensive for this quality! I was there for the first time because I always go to the Peja Restaurant and wanted to try a new restaurant. It will stay at this one time.

Even though there wasn't anything vegan on the menu, they were still able to offer me something delicious without any problems. I would prefer if there was something concrete on the card. The staff was very nice and the prices were right.

My wife and I visited this restaurant…the first impression as the warming welcome from the owner…My wife choices salad with the veal in pumpkin risotto…My choices are vegetable soup and entrecôte with fried potatoes with a reduction sauce. The chef is excellent makes the best sauce (my wife’s salat and the reduction for my steak) The steak meat was excellent perfection medium as I order. We drink each glass of the house red wine (primitivo) very nice too. For the price very reasonable for this high quality…and the service was very friendly and very efficient. If you visit Lörrach for great shopping…take time to have a lunch in the restaurant…it’ll make your day! 😊 Especially if need a business lunch high quality and quick service…then you can’t wrong with this excellent restaurant. Unusually, my wife was sooo impressed with the salad sauce…the waitress offered a bottle of the salad sauce to my wife…thats the way…impressive customers…very kind…the serving top notch👍👍
