Starting with the starters and ending with the desserts, there is very tasty food. The pizza is outstanding and worth mentioning!
The service is very nice and attentive.
The ambience is nice, but the old wooden furniture could be restored or replaced. These do not visually fit in with the rest of the ambience. The terrace is also nice.
The expanded range of dishes with the great fresh salads is sensational - especially chicken drumsticks and chicken legs - for dining on site in the atmosphere of a market hall - with Knolle & Spritz having lovingly selected tables and chairs of their own. The food can also be taken away in reusable containers. A 100% recommendation - you can find something hidden on the wall of the Viktualienhalle 👍☺️...to mention: there are also freshly pressed fruit and vegetable juices 😉🍋🍓
Unfortunately, I wasn't very enthusiastic about the Jägerschnitzel. It tasted like a finished product.
Not fried and warmed in the microwave. The mushrooms were frozen in a cream sauce.
The lettuce showed brown spots on the cut edges. Ready mix from the wholesale market. Didn't say anything because we were invited. Will not visit this club restaurant again.
A Yugoslavian used to run the restaurant and everything was delicious. After that it all went downhill.
Can't quite understand the positive reviews. The price-performance ratio is not quite right. A lot of it comes pre-packaged and is quite expensive. And if you have ice cream on the menu, you should be able to offer it. 3 types (yoghurt, pistachios, chocolate) are just as miserable as the pile called a ball (for 2.50). And if I don't like the cheap product spray cream (1€ portion), I should accept that. I found the reactions to my dissatisfaction very unpleasant, starting with me having to take the same thing again, even though I
I would have preferred to do without, to the point that someone called after me to take a look at the package (!). Since I don't want to be annoyed when I go to the sauna, that's sorted out with a visit to the boathouse.
