I always enjoy hiking from Erlangen to the Wurzhütte in winter! A perfect destination to enjoy a good home-baked cake with coffee! 👌 ...and that there is finally a website where the opening days are listed 👍 thank you for your commitment, keep it up!!!

Rustic, everyone is nice, excellent cakes, alternatively Wienerle or sandwiches, fair prices. Conclusion: Wurzhütte is worth a hike!

Very tasty food, in addition to kebabs, there's also a constantly changing range of homemade takeaway dishes at lunchtime. My favorite dish is "stuffed eggplant with rice" - usually on Wednesdays. Mainly takeout. Or a standing table inside.

Forchheimer Str. 5The pizza was absolutely delicious and tasted like it does in Italy. The patio in the courtyard is a lovely place to sit. The service could have been a bit better, but the pizza was absolutely fantastic, so we'd happily come back.
