It used to be so beautiful. We've been there so many times but unfortunately it's getting worse and worse. The meat for the last few times It was fried too short and super crunchy, the large Spezi I ordered was a 0.3 bottle. They couldn't open an umbrella for us because supposedly they were all broken. I find sitting under the roof at the entrance terrible... if people smoke there it doesn't go away at all. It feels like “friends” or something like that are constantly sitting in front of the door, chirping to each other… the chairs are incredibly uncomfortable, and the flat cushions don’t help either. It needs a little love and a little overhaul for the upcoming season. And to finally say something positive, the view of the lake is of course very beautiful and the sour cream is delicious.

We reserved a table in advance by phone. We were able to spontaneously change the time again on site. My friend ordered the goose breast, I had the Holsteiner pot. The food was fantastic. The portions were very large and absolutely sufficient.

Today I had dinner at the Kiebek furniture store. However, only because of the food, not because of the carpets, etc. I think the offer is great. €12.90 to put together your own meal from the buffet. You can enjoy your food super tasty with a great view over the country since you are sitting on the 3rd floor. I will come here more often and just to eat. Great restaurant with very rustic furnishings, the lots of old wood makes you think you were in a tavern 200 years ago. The food was very tasty and served quickly. The service was very friendly and quick. We will definitely come back and recommend it to others.
