Extremely recommended. The only drawback: the kitchen fumes are not ventilated well and the clothes smell like food the next day.

Simply fantastic there. Delicious food, cakes, drinks. Everything your heart desires. Added to this is the impressive view. There is also a very large adventure playground.

Sweet little restaurant with excellent Palatinate dishes. The landlady is super nice and friendly. I can only recommend the restaurant!

Actually dogs are forbidden but there is a spot for us on the terrace. Two evenings we had a lovely meal.

Lovely restaurant, marvellous partially stained glass windows! Service very friendly (and the guests, we had recommendations to visit Freinsheim, we did next day, great place) and fast. Delicious food.

Although we didn't have a reservation (highly recommended), we still got a wonderful table in front of the restaurant. Excellent service, a delicious shandy, a great salad, and a perfectly cooked rump steak. We were very satisfied and can unconditionally recommend the restaurant!

Leckeres Bier, ganz tolles authentisches Essen und super freundliche Bedienung! Die urige Atmosphäre hat uns super gefallen und wir sind nach dem top Abendessen noch lange geblieben. Sehr gastfreundlich war, dass wir zu später Stunde noch mit an den Stammtisch eingeladen wurden, wo wir den Abend haben ausklingen lassen. Wenn wir mal wieder in Kaiserslautern sind, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Seit vielen Jahren kommen wir in der Weihnachtszeit in den Gimmeldinger Winzer. Leider hat der Koch im Herbst eine neue Herausforderung gesucht. Jetzt muss der Chef ran und kann leider nicht mehr so viele Gäste versorgen. Dem Essen tut dies jedoch keinerlei Abbruch. Sehr gute und bodenständige Pfälzer und regionale Küche. Hervorragende Suppen und herrliche Salate. Danach gab es Schweinesteak mit gegrilltem Gemüse und Pommes, bzw. einen empfehlenswerten "Baeckeofe". Nicht zu toppen ist das selbstgemachte Gänseschmalz. Hoffentlich können wir noch viele Jahre kommen 😉

We enjoyed delicious dishes and strong wines in the beautiful castle garden. The hand cheese is simply fantastic! Keep up the good work. We'd love to come back.
