Schönes Restaurant mit toller Terrasse direkt neben einem Bach gelegen mit sehr guter deutscher bzw. pfälzer Küche. Personal inklusive Chefin ist sehr freundlich. Wir kommen wieder.

Ein sehr schönes und uriges Lokal mit einer tollen Weinkarte. Auch das Essen -vor allem der Beilagensalat- war sehr lecker. Allerdings wurden wir vom Personal nicht beachtet - gerne hätten wir noch etwas getrunken.

Wir haben super lecker gegessen! Sehr gemütliche Weinstube, - es waren viele Gäste da trotz Wochentag (Mittwoch) und Nebensaison. Pfälzer Wildsaumagen absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir waren heute zum wiederholten Male hier und haben sehr lecker gegessen, der Service war zuvorkommend, die Weinstube ist total urig und man sitzt draußen wunderschön am Wasser. Die Auswahl der Speisekarte ist überschaubar, von Regional, Vegan, Vegetarisch und Tagesessen ist alles zu bekommen. Seit Jahren kommen wir immer wieder sehr gerne.

Idyllisch gelegen im Ortskern von Annweiler am Trifels. Direkt an einem Bachlauf und umgeben von alten Fachwerkhäusern, wobei die Gaststätte selbst eins ist. Es gibt eine umfangreiche Weinkarte auf der jeder etwas finden sollte. Mit der Speisekarte verhält es sich genauso. Habe mich für eine Pfälzer Spezialität entschieden, den Wildsaumagen. War wirklich sehr lecker und handwerklich gut gemacht. War von hoher Qualität. Für alle sehr Durstigen gibt es natürlich auch Weinschorle. Werde gerne demnächst wieder dort einkehren .

Essen sehr gut, hab selten so ein gut abgeschmeckt Gemüse und Fleisch in einem Restaurant bekommen. Auch Salat/Salatdressing sehr gut. Nachwürzen absolut nicht notwendig. 👍 Auch der Service macht einen sehr guten Job, aufmerksam, freundlich und in beratender Weise zum Essen top. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt ist die Lautstärke in dem vollen Gastraum. Sonst alles super gut.

Ambiente sehr schön👍 Bedienung wunderbar 😊.Essen hat uns nicht geschmeckt, außerdem gibt es keinen Steak! Wieder Schwein noch Rind. Vor ca, 6 Jahren wir waren dort, haben wunderbar gegessen, es war ca 4 Sorten Steak's in Angebot.Für Leute, die was gesundes* essen wollen, gibt es keine Salatteller, und traurige weise man bekommt auch keinen Fisch Gericht oder ähnliches! Tiramisu, als Nachtisch war sauer, vermutlich aus Frischkäse gemacht statt Mascarpone. Wir gehen nicht mehr hin.

We held our Christmas party here and everyone enjoyed a delicious meal. The atmosphere is lovely, with a cozy fireplace in the parlor. In the summer, you can sit comfortably by the little stream in the backyard.

We chose this restaurant by chance and we really enjoyed it. The food is incredibly delicious and the staff is very friendly. A very good choice in terms of food, service, and atmosphere. We were in Anweiler for a hiking weekend and had reserved a table here for dinner. What can I say? It was a complete success in every respect. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all perfect. We'll gladly come back.

Even the salad was a delightful surprise. A wide variety of flavors, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The main course was a true culinary delight, prepared with love. The sauces were perfectly seasoned. The meat melted in your mouth, and the side dishes were also excellent. Even the decorative touches added a special touch. We were thrilled and highly recommend this restaurant. It was truly outstanding. The owner/chef even greeted guests at their tables and asked if everything was alright. The waitstaff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming. As I write this, dessert arrived. Simply wonderful, a perfect complement to the entire evening. Respect, and keep up the great work!

We stopped at the Alte Gerberei in Annweiler this evening. The atmosphere was fantastic and the service was super friendly. Luckily, despite arriving late (around 7:30 p.m.), they still had food! I highly recommend this place! We'll definitely be back. Regarding the incorrect comment from the owner of the Goldener Löwen: you can still get hot food here at 8:00 p.m.!

A fantastic restaurant where everything is just right: excellent (regional) food, attentive and very friendly service, and a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our evenings there during our vacation! Highly recommended!

We were there on an extremely busy day. We just managed to get a table. The food was delicious, albeit very spicy. The wine selection is extensive, and the beer, juice, and mineral water come from a local brewery, which I personally think is very good. The service was attentive, even if one or two things were forgotten. The dining room is quaint and lovingly decorated.

We had a last-minute reservation for four. That was a good thing, as the restaurant was completely booked. The menu isn't particularly extensive, but it's packed with goodness! Regional specialties, daily specials. Everything tasted wonderful. Great, friendly service!! Our rating: Absolutely recommended.

After the cinema, we spontaneously stopped in, received a warm welcome, and were given a lovely table next to the fireplace without prior reservation. The food, venison and Burgundy roast, was a culinary dream! The wine selection was top-notch. We're new regulars.

We came here for dinner on a Wednesday without a reservation and arrived about 15 minutes after the restaurant opened. We got a seat and were able to order very quickly. The waitresses were very friendly! The food was excellent, super fresh and hot. And the quality is simply fantastic! The dishes are beautifully presented. The price/performance ratio is also very good! They serve Palatinate dishes. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area because the food is excellent. Thank you for this wonderful visit!

A beautiful ambiance, a new design within an old building. Whether in the dining room or on the terrace overlooking the river, there are plenty of comfortable seats, and they're generously spaced. The service is attentive and helpful. The tables are beautifully set. The wine list satisfies all gourmet wishes with its extensive selection. The delicious food is prepared in a "glass" kitchen under the observation of the guests. We look forward to our next visit.

We enjoyed our stay at the Alte Gerberei (Old Gerbery). Sitting on the outdoor terrace by the Queich stream is very, very beautiful. Of course, we also ate, and everything was delicious. We tried almost everything. Everything was freshly prepared, the meat was tender, and not to mention the wines and the Bellheimer beer. This is gastronomy at its finest. Very friendly staff and prompt service. We'd love to come back next time we're in Annweiler. Greetings from the Baltic Sea in Wismar.

We went there without a reservation. We had a lovely outdoor seating by the stream. Very romantic. The food was delicious, and the local wine was even more delicious.

I've been to the "Zur Alten Gerberei" restaurant/wine bar in Annweiler several times and have always been very satisfied with both the service and the excellent food. The ambiance is first-class, especially if you have the opportunity to sit on the beautiful terrace right next to a small stream. Reservations are required. The price-performance ratio is excellent. I highly recommend the "Alte Gerberei" and would be happy to return. 5 stars from me, without a doubt. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had a nice hike in Annweiler on Saturday and then we walked into the city center to the old tannery. We have reserved in advance for 6 people. The rest was simply brilliant, great service, delicious food and a nice atmosphere. That was the culmination of the day with good friends and good food.

We really liked the restaurant, the atmosphere is very cozy with a fireplace, the service works discreetly and quickly. The choice of dishes is mainly from regional cuisine, which we always and everywhere really like. After a long journey, we were actually very hungry, but the dishes turned out to be so big that despite the excellent taste, some of our fellow travelers could not finish everything. We can recommend this restaurant 100%.

I would give it minus one star... If this were possible... Had yesterday evening 26th 09.24 Reserved a table for three people. Since we had to drive for over an hour and still had to look for the restaurant, we arrived about 15 minutes late. When we arrived we said reserved, table for three people. We were told the kitchen was already closed but we could still get a tarte flambée or a salad. Drive of over an hour. And at 7:45 p.m., the kitchen closed. So I can't comment on the ambience or the food. However, via a middle-aged lady who announced... kitchen closed... If so, salad or tarte flambée. Definitely from me... Minus one star ‼️‼️‼️‼️

I'm just rating the service here, because unfortunately we didn't even get to eat. We had reserved a table for 7:30 p.m. for three people and arrived a quarter of an hour late because we were looking for a parking space. We also had a longer journey and I found it outrageous that we were then told that the kitchen had already been cleared away. I work in the catering industry myself and no one here would dare to send a reserved table home. Yes, we were offered tarte flambée, but if you have already reserved then you would like to be able to use the entire food offer. If we had come spontaneously I would have understood it. Furthermore, there was the statement “we specifically checked to see whether all the reservations were through”, which was not the truth! It may be that the food is good, which is why we wanted to visit the restaurant. But I haven't experienced anything like this yet

Unfortunately for dog owners it's a disaster. The staff refused to allow dogs to visit the restaurant. Despite asking that this was possible three years ago without any problems, we were offered a place in the rain on the terrace. A joke to say the least. Opening times are also severely limited due to a lack of staff. A rogue who thinks evil of it. Not recommended for dog owners and animal lovers.
