We ate here four times in two weeks. We sat inside once and outside on the courtyard terrace three times. The staff is very friendly. We enjoyed the food, especially the salad with the Schnitzel, for example, was very tasty and richly filled. We can highly recommend the Schnitzels, the Winzersteak, the Hacksteaks and the Rumpsteak. There was a great choice of wine. We enjoyed the beer, Hefeweizen. Every time the chef came to ask all the guests if everything had tasted good. The food was good and the price was fine. We would love to come back.

Super delicious food, everything freshly prepared. The dessert, the homemade ice cream, is the absolute highlight. You have to try this. Very tasty food and good wine. The vegan main course was to die for!

Typical winery ambience, dark wood paneling, rustic furniture. We had Palatinate plates and liver dumplings, it tasted good.

Always a culinary experience at the winery! Not just the Palatinate classics, but also original creations from the fine cuisine. Vegetarians and fish lovers will also get their money's worth here. Gladly again!

We came twice, but were only able to eat once, because the second time we were sent away well before the official closing time, citing a football game that the staff wanted to watch (this was not announced anywhere, neither online nor on a display on the street). a note on the door). The food the first time was good (Pfälzer Saumagen), but the phosphate it contained was sold to us labeled as “transparency” on the menu, even though it is legally required to be labeled. We were “cashed in” shortly after dinner - not particularly friendly - even though it was still more than half an hour until closing time. Original Palatinate dishes are also available in other restaurants in the area (with friendlier service and an atmosphere that is at least as nice), so a visit here is not really worth it.

Very nice restaurant with a beautiful courtyard. The service is very nice. The starters, goat's cream cheese with salad variation and the pulled porced croquettes were delicious, as were the main courses, winemaker's steak with grilled vegetables and the minced steak with chanterelles. We go regularly, especially for dinner, and the quality is consistently high. Both from cuisine and service. Everything is prepared fresh and with creativity, even the pasta is homemade. The selection of bottled wines is also selected and very good. For example, the Pinot Blanc from Bergdolt. One of the few restaurants in the region that offers good quality and regional home-made cuisine and has only adjusted prices adequately in recent months.

We got 2 places for dinner on Friday evening at short notice (without prior reservation). The food met our expectations and was very tasty. Friendly staff who were attentive and quick despite the full house. At the end of the meal (8 p.m.), the boss / chef came to each table and asked whether it was tasty or whether there were any problems. Since everything was fine, we booked again at short notice for the evening on Saturday. Here too, everything was tip top. We give a clear recommendation.

We were there as part of the almond blossom festival. The menu was very limited, the food was good but the portions were small. You know it's a wine bar, but €6.20 for a non-alcoholic wheat beer is way over the top.

We ate here today as part of the Almond Blossom Festival because we thought we would rather do that instead of the food offered at the stalls, such as bratwurst with fries, etc. In retrospect, we should have done this instead, because the quantities of the two dishes bore no relation to the price. We haven't had so little on our plate for a long time and we go out to eat often. Just very annoying and the staff wasn't interested in it, not a big reaction, but it probably wasn't necessary.

It's probably the best schnitzel I've had in a long time. Not just wine. The beer is good 👍 Beer garden.

Now I just had to check whether we really ate in this restaurant today... Why? The menu did not correspond in any way to that on the website or as shown here in the pictures and, even in retrospect, I could not find any reference to it anywhere. It was more like a reduced “lunch table”. These usually only contain parts of the regular menu with reduced dishes. However, the prices are then adjusted accordingly, which was not the case here. For example, the bratwursts with bread (very coarse, a matter of taste) instead of mashed potatoes were the same price. The salt on the minced steak with fries was also not reduced... Now I'm of the opinion that you shouldn't complain about the prices, you can see them beforehand and if they seem too high, you can leave it alone. However, the prices create a certain expectation. And this was far from being fulfilled for us today. The 3 stars overall because the waitresses were all very friendly despite the great stress.

Today we celebrated a birthday in the restaurant with 23 people. The birthday child had a successful and very relaxed celebration. Everything was ordered as a mixed bag from the regular menu. The children received their meal with the adults' starters. We all had our food pretty much at the same time and without any apparent stress to us. Hot as it should be. The guests were consistently satisfied. The service was also very attentive, despite there being other guests in the restaurant. The greeting from the kitchen with lard and great bread was also delicious. Lovely again!

€19.90 for a Palatinate plate and €5.90 for a spritzer are definitely too much. For me this is a rip off. Then a waitress who can only charge the table but not the people! Only EC payment is possible. That's not a service for me. Very bad shop. It wasn't particularly tasty either. Addendum to the comment to my review. If you can't swap the bread for potatoes and charge extra for the potatoes, you should communicate this beforehand and serve the bread and not just leave it out. No, I don't know your costs. I don't care about them either. Also that they cook fantastically in the evenings. I was there in the late afternoon and if I'm being paid such an exorbitant amount of money, I expect the same quality. A little caraway, a bay leaf or two and a dash of wine wouldn't have hurt the sauerkraut. A real gravy and nothing from a packet where you can see the bottom of the plate would also have been beneficial. Liver dumplings, sausage and sausage stomach come from the butcher, the sauerkraut from a bucket, the sauce from a package. For that and for 3 potato wedges, €19.90 is too expensive. 10% more guests because no individual billing? So increasing profits by limiting the service! But then complain about a bad review. That's exactly my sense of humor. Maybe you should become a little more open to criticism and not constantly justify your poor performance.

Waren nach einer Wanderung zu viert essen. Saßen am Kachelofen und haben das sehr gute Essen genossen. Dreimal Grünkohlknödel, einfach fantastisch. Gerne wieder.

Leider war der Gastraum zu kalt, das Essen war sehr gut. Die Preise in der Karte stimmten leider nicht mit unserer Rechnung überein wurde aber sofort geändert. Der zuviel gezahlte Betrag wurde erstattet.⁹

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 11 Personen (Vegetarier & Carnivore, Jung&Alt) beim Gimmeldinger Winzer und durchweg alle begeistert von den Speisen. Sowohl regionale Spezialitäten wie der Pfälzer Saumagen, als auch die leckere Gänsekeule auf Linsen-Sellerie-Gemüse oder die hervorragenden Grünkohlknödel waren aus hochwertigen Zutaten liebevoll zubereitet. Auch die Getränkekarte ließ mit Kellerbier, lokalen & internationalen Weinspezialitäten sowie Softgetränken aller Art keine Wünsche offen. Das Ambiente ist eher urig & gemütlich als elegant, passend zu einer zünftigen Winzerstube. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Klasse Speisen, hatte eine Hischroulade, total lecker. Klasse Wein von den Winzern im Dorf und sehr gute, aufmerksame, Bedienung was will man mehr.

Essen eigentlich nicht so schlimm. Gruß aus der Küche: Brot (lecker) und ein für mich geschmacklich zu fader Dip. Steak war ok. Nackensteak eingelegt viel zu salzig. Meinte jemand am Nachbartisch auch. Salat seltsam. Alles in allem würde ich sagen. Ok. Muss ich aber nicht mehr hin.

Schönes Restaurant, netter und kompetenter und freundlicher Service. Leckere Speisen. Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir kommen immer gern her, wenn wir in Neustadt zu Besuch sind. Das Essen ist immer hervorragend und der Service sehr zuvorkommend. Lediglich die vegetarische Auswahl könnte meiner Meinung nach etwas größer sein, bei den Vorspeisen findet man als Vegetarier jedoch einiges!

Historisches, geschmackvolles Ambiente. Unsere Vorspeisen (hausgebeizter Lachs, Markklößchen-Suppe) wie auch die Hauptspeisen (Baeckeoffe, Leberknödel, Schnitzel) waren hervorragend; ebenso die Marillenklöße als Dessert. Der Sud des Weingugelhupfs war uns etwas zu würzig, aber vermutlich auch Geschmackssache. Wir würden in jedem Fall wiederkommen, wenn wir wieder in der Pfalz sind. Ein Tip: wir hätten uns mehr Beratung bei Wein- und Essensauswahl gewünscht.

Das Haus bietet eine sehr gute Küche. Der Wein ist allerdings für einen Winzer zu teuer. Es mangelt an Parkplätzen, da man den Innenhof mit Tischen belegt hat. Das war mal besser.

Wir waren seit langem mal wieder im Gimmeldinger Winzer und ich muss sagen, der Charme ist nicht verloren gegangen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und wir wurden rasch bedient. Geschmack und Qualität vom Essen war sehr gut. Der Chef ist sogar an den Tisch gekommen und hat gefragt ob alles recht ist(das ist nicht überall der Fall). Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Abend mit gutem Essen , einer guten Weinauswahl und zuvorkommendem Personal .😊Wir kommen wieder!

Tolles Essen, das sowohl Traditionelles als auch Innovatives bietet. Die Grießflammeries waren fantastisch, das Obst frisch und lecker. Die freundliche Servicekraft hat dazu beigetragen, dass wir den Besuch genossen haben. Wir können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

Wir waren zwei mal dort essen und waren begeistert. Gruß der Küche , Tageskarte zur normalen Karte , regionale frische Küche einfach ein Genuss . Hatten für gestern Abend einen Tisch im "Gimmeldinger Winzer" blind gebucht. Waren zu Neunt. Wurden freundlich von den Bedienungen empfangen und bewirtet. Das Essen ist durchweg empfehlenswert. Der "Gruß aus der Küche" machte uns neugierig auf unsere Bestellungen. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! Der Küchenchef und vermutlich auch Chef des Hauses kam an unseren Tisch und erkundigte sich nach unseren Eindrücken und Wünschen. Alles Prima. Gerne wieder EJM

Ein wunderschönes, uriges Lokal - alle Gerichte sind hausgemacht von regionalen Produkten und der Koch ist selber neben der Bedienung im Schankraum… abgerundet werden die hervorragenden Pfälzer Spezialitäten mit regionalen Weinen. Waren jetzt schon öfters im Gimmeldinger Winzer und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Weder unter der Zeit, noch an Ostern bzw Weihnachten. Hier ist keiner überfordert, da gutes Personal und der Chef eine ruhige Ausstrahlung hat. Reservierung empfehlenswert. Sehr gute Pfälzer Weine mit reichlicher Auswahl! Toll die Karte: Neben Pfälzer Gerichten bekommt man auch selbstgemachte Nudeln etc ( und das ist wirklich selbstgemacht!). Karte wird der Saison angepasst, daher immer mal was anderes zur Auswahl. Toll: Es gibt immer zu Beginn einen "Gruß aus der Küche". Auch hier ist das Brot selbstgemacht, habe extra nachgefragt. Wer möchte muss zu Beginn fragen, dann macht der Chef, falls er Zeit hat, auch "außer" der Reihe ein Essen ( meine Frau wollte das tolle Cordon Bleu was es sonst immer gab, aber nicht auf der Karte stand ). Hunde sind willkommen: auch sie kommen auf ihre Kosten, denn der Chef geht immer persönlich eine Runde durch das Lokal und fragt, ob alles in Ordnung war und da bekommt der Vierbeiner ein Leckerli 😊. Wir hoffen, daß dieses feine Restaurant uns noch lange erhalten bleibt.

Der Wirt und sein Personal sind flink, korrekt und sehr freundlich. Man kann sich locker unterhalten und Tips holen für die nächsten Tage usw. Die Portionen sind groß. Regionale Küche in bester Qualität mit tollen Weinen oder frischem Bier im schattigen Hof. Passt auch preislich gut.

Das leckerste Salatdressing, das ich je genießen durfte. Das Ambiente ist typisch pfälzisch gemütlich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt ebenfalls. Wir kommen wieder!!!

Wir waren mit Freunden und zwei Hunden im Gimmeldinger Winzer und waren sehr angetan von der regionalen, frischen Küche auf gehobenem Niveau und von dem sehr netten Service, der immer freundlich ist und sich hoch motiviert und die Gäste kümmert - auch um das Wohlergehen unserer Hunde! Man merkt, dass Küche und Service ein richtig gutes Team sind, das auch bei Dauernörglern noch einen kühlen Kopf bewahrt! Hut ab und wir kommen wieder. Findet man nur noch selten, diese Qualität!

Bei Ankunft an der Eingangstür wurden wir abgefangen und gefragt ob wir Essen möchten. Als wir die Frage verneinten, und sagten wir möchten Kaffee und Kuchen zu uns nehmen, wurden wir sehr unhöflich gebeten das Restaurant zu verlassen. Weiter "das haben wir nicht" Wir werden dieses Restaurant nie wieder betreten !!!
