The Festplatzwiese car park is only a few minutes away and offers plenty of parking spaces. As far as we have been able to determine, this is free of charge. The restaurant itself is in a quiet location. The welcome was very warm and friendly. We got our reserved table outside and were given the menu. Our order was taken shortly afterwards, including a starter and main course. As quickly as is technically possible 😉, we got the drinks, starters and then the main courses to the table. Extremely tasty 😋 grilled pepperoni and calamari as a starter, Gemisto sirloin skewer and the fillet steak with mushrooms, each with starter salad and French fries. Just under 60 plus tip. Full and satisfied all around. A clear recommendation 👍🏼

I've been on countless vacations in GR, I have a Greek mother. The food in Dionsysos is of little quality and the taste hardly comes close to the decent standard of Greek restaurants that I have visited so far. A medium spice mixture is added to the minced meat. The starter salad is Germanized, the rice is pure, covered with a ready-made gravy from the package (completely untypical for GR) and the vegetables were definitely from the freezer. The other guests seem to get it anyway - according to the reviews 🫣…

Actually I would give zero stars Am very disappointed We ordered for pickup today That was so bad The pork was so dry that you couldn't cut it, fries were cooked without any seasoning, gyros were cooked, etc. Not recommendable

We went to the Greek restaurant this evening. The food was very bad and the fish was oversalted. Unfortunately the gyros were also inedible. The waitress didn't seem to care because she was annoyed, but I think by the guests. Well, if you're the boss and need the ouzo... that's not possible...

Meat from the charcoal grill was very tasty. Food a little too greasy.

Since we were on a trip to Neustadt we were looking forward to a Greek meal. When we came in the waiter was very nice and accompanied us to the table, but the service was very unfriendly and obviously annoyed. Ouzo would be put on the table without words. Our friends had ordered a plate for two people for around €32. I had a gyros plate with three types of meat for €14. The salad was first brought for our friends, a large plate for two people, our salad plate only arrived 10 minutes later , whereby both plates were placed in front of my husband instead of placing them on him. When our main courses came, I had no words left. Our friends (menu for 2) had the same thing on their plate as me, only if you order the platter for 2 people, more paid..Then our friends had already used the plates for the salad and there were no fresh plates for the main course.When I then wanted a drink, the waitress was totally annoyed.There was a lot of meat to trick and very little tzatziki.Also Behind us was a table with about 11 people who had different requests, the waitress kept rolling her eyes. When we wanted to pay she didn't even ask if we would pay separately. Everything was on one bill. We paid and then just said goodbye and she was gone. As we were leaving, the waiter wished us at least a wonderful day. I had read the reviews beforehand and that's why I chose this restaurant, but now, never again. I've never been treated so unkindly. The next time We're looking for something else for the trip. It's a shame. I can't live up to the good reviews.

There were three of us eating in the restaurant and this was our first time. We ordered various appetizers and a platter for us together. Starters were okay, although the grilled sheep's cheese was served in aluminum foil and garnished with a few onions. I can do better at home and definitely more beautiful. The plate was partly inedible. Individual pieces of meat were so dry that you could only get them down with the drink. Bifteki totally over salted, inedible. Lamb had the typical lamb smell and was full of fat. Salad was ok and fries were good. When we wanted to leave, we asked if the rest could be packed up. The waitress, who was completely unmotivated and had absolutely no sympathy for the guests, brought us a plastic bowl, half-heartedly threw it on the table and said to pack it up. So we were allowed to pack our own food. Impossible. Never experienced it before. Definitely not a recommendation to go here! Guests are all regulars who don't mind. Anyone who goes here for the first time... definite DONT. Better go somewhere else. Greetings.

The food was good, I had lamb chop with garlic. Unfortunately, I was thrown out after eating. This is how it came about: It was very full, the table I was sitting at was supposedly reserved for one person, so I was given 1 hour. Was fine with me. After 35 minutes it was thought that the guests had already arrived. I had just eaten my food and was halfway through my drink. I sat facing the door, but no one had entered. That's a shame, I often work nearby and will probably have to eat somewhere else.

The Greek restaurant Dionysos is at Festplatzstraße 11, opposite the "Festwiese" the large parking lot. Dionysos is not very big, about 14 tables and 5 outdoor tables. The typical Greek dishes are offered, but everything is a little better. It is grilled on an open oven with wood, which gives the grilled specialties an excellent taste. The ambience is wonderfully dedicated to the theme of Greece. The very good price/performance ratio is particularly praiseworthy. The staff, especially the landlord, are very friendly and competent. On sunny days there are also some tables on the terrace. It is advisable to reserve on weekends. For us, Dionysos is the best Greek restaurant in the city.

When we were looking for a pub or restaurant that was also open on Saturdays, we found Dionysus. Normally we don't find a location that is well filled around 1 p.m. We were pleasantly surprised here. Almost all tables were occupied. So it was really pure luck to get a free table. So the reviews were justified. The service was very friendly. It took less than 20 minutes from ordering to serving. The food was very tasty and filling. You will definitely be full. Prices more than acceptable. You can pay in cash or by card. Definitely recommended. There are parking spaces around the location. For free.

Very good price-performance ratio.

All in all the visit was okay. The meat and starters were really very good! My partner's fish was completely fried and unfortunately not that tasty. The fries were cold and soggy. That's probably better. We would still like to come back because the service was very good and the ambience is also quite nice.

I can't understand the positive reviews. The waitress was very impersonal and just put the drinks and food "there", not placed as one would assume. The drinks and food were not served together. The grape leaves were out of the can, you could still see the loaf shape. The salad somehow tasted like Maggie, as did the seasoned meat on the "mixed plate". In the end there wasn't even grappa. Ohton: No, there's no such thing! Sorry, but the cheap prices aren't any consolation. That was a 6 in terms of quality!

Leider konnten wir das Essen nicht bewerten, da wir keines erhalten haben. Wir haben am 02.01.2024 einen Ausflug gemacht nach Neustadt an der Weinstraße. Vorab hatten wir uns im Internet schlau gemacht wo es was gutes zu essen gibt. Laut der Internetseite sollte offen sein. Wir kamen an und standen vor verschlossener Tür. Ein Stückchen Zettel an der Tür zeigte an, das kurzfristig geschlossen ist. Hm. Liebe Gastronomen zu einem guten Service gehört nicht nur gutes Essen sondern auch Information. Diese sollte auch auf der Internetseite lesbar sein. Es kommen mitunter nicht nur Gäste aus der Nachbarschaft. Eins weiß ich mit Sicherheit wir kommen nicht wieder

Ein Restaurant mit Internetauftritt, das es nicht schafft seine Kunden über diesen auch zu informieren kann ich nicht gut bewerten, denn dies gehört auch dazu.

Tolles Restaurant …. Seh sehr leckeres Essen -alles selbstgemacht aus dem Holzkohlegrill . Vor- Hauptspeisen und Nachtisch waren eine Gaumenfreude. Wir kamen aus Stuttgart -der Zwischenstopp zum Mittagessen hat sich gelohnt. Die Wirte sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, zuvorkommend haben uns positiv überrascht . Macht weiter so …

Sehr, sehr netter Besitzer! Solides und preiswertes Essen sowie sehr faire Getränkepreise. Leider keine Besonderheiten (denke an Lammfilet oder -haxe…). Tipp: Wer günstig einen Mittagstisch sucht, findet ihn hier! Wir wurden sehr gut bedient und versorgt. Für uns gibt es allerdings bessere griech. Restaurants… wie immer ist das eine Frage des Geschmacks. Vielleicht hier und da mal lüften…beim Betreten des Lokals war es sehr stickig. Alles Gute!

Ein sehr gutes griechisches Restaurant etwas außerhalb von Neustadt. Wir sind zu Fuß ca. 30 Minuten hingelaufen. Haben draußen sehr schön gesessen und unsere gegrillten Peperoni genossen. Zum Hauptgericht mussten wir leider ins Restaurant flüchten. Meine Frau hatte gegrillte Kalamari bestellt und die haben die Fliegen wohl kilometerweit gerochen. Das Essen war jedenfalls sehr 👍 und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist top. Bitte unbedingt reservieren, eine halbe Stunde nach Öffnung war das Restaurant rappelvoll.

Guter Grieche mit zivilen Preisen

Ich muss sagen das war richtig super. Sehr freundlich und entgegen kommt. Wir 70 Jahre Alt und große Portionen das geht bei uns nicht mehr,sie haben es passend gemacht. 6 Sterne extra. Und die Preise nochmal 6 Sterne extra LG Manfred ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Essen sehr reichhaltige und lecker. Wie vom Griechen erwartet. Ordentlich gewürzt. Getränke ganz ok. Der Service knapp und freundlich. Aber wow ... zuhause....die Kleidung völlig von Küchengeruch verseucht. Zwei Tage die Mäntel zwangslüften...hat geholfen. Würden wieder hingehen...gerne im Sommer dann Plätze draussen!!!

Waren am 27.5.2022 dort an unserem Hochzeitstag essen aufgrund der 5 Sterneempfehlung.Als erstes fiel die lustlose und sehr knapp angebundene weibliche Bedienung auf,die konsequent "Dienst nach Vorschrift" ablieferte.. Wir bestellten 2 gemischte Grillteller.Die Begrüßungsuozos waren schon auf Zimmertemperatur "vorgewärmt",der bestellte Rose auch nicht wirklich kalt und mäßig in der Qualität.Der Vorspeisensalat war gut.Dann die gemischte Grillplatte: Das Gyros nicht cross sondern "gekocht",die Spieße und die Susukakiaröllchen staubtrocken und die Pommes mit Frittenfett vom letzten Monat ...Haben die Hälfte stehen gelassen.Selbst beim bezahlen war die Bedienung völlig demotiviert. Der Chef war übrigens sehr nett .Sehr schade aber never 5 Sterne !

Leckeres Essen,Fleisch vom Holzkohlengrill und der Service für jeden Extrawunsch zu haben ohne dafür gleich nen Aufschlag zu zahlen.Hatte mir für den Spiess grosse Pommes als Beilage und Kräuterbutter mit Zitrone gewünscht und alles bekommen Freundlicher Service mit dem man sich gern unterhält.Komme immer wieder gerne hin.Preis-Leistung Top.
