I visited for the second time today, and my first impression was absolutely confirmed. Great service, a wonderful atmosphere, and delicious traditional cuisine. Absolutely recommended and worth a visit ❤️

An excellent Greek restaurant that I visited on the recommendation of friends. The portions are very generous and the meat so tender and delicious that I definitely want to return. The service is first-class. The atmosphere is typically Greek and delightful. Many thanks to the chef for the perfectly cooked meat. This is now my favorite Greek restaurant.

I was there for the first time under the new owner. My companions (6 people in total) have already been there several times. We arrived without prior reservation and were immediately assigned a table. Some drinks were served in dirty glasses. We complained about this. Not a word of apology. The food arrived after a long wait. But it was fine. The portion sizes are debatable! The Riesling spritzer is more than thinly mixed and did not suit my taste at all. It was noticeable that certain tables were served a free ouzo upon arrival and again after payment. Our table, on the other hand, was not given any consideration by the manager. Overall, we did not feel particularly comfortable and will not be coming again.

Finally, a Greek restaurant that offers gemista (stuffed peppers and tomatoes) and vegetarian moussaka!!! 👍😍👍 Update: The owner has changed, and gemista is no longer on the menu, what a pity!

The price/performance ratio isn't right; after the bold claims in the flyer, having worked in the best restaurants, one would expect more. I had liver, which was lukewarm, the salad came from a pre-packaged dish, and the espresso wasn't hot either.

The restaurant has potential, but overall, it didn't impress us. The price-performance ratio wasn't right: 2 cevapcici were very small, an okay gyro with fries for €16, the skewers were more cooked than grilled, and the fries were okay. The service also has room for improvement – ​​only two menus for four people, no one asked if everything was okay, and when paying, we had to ask several times before finally being told it was just the chef's job. Unfortunately, not our first choice.

We used to love going there before the change of management in August 2025. The food was always delicious, the service good, and we received a warm welcome. Now, after the change of management, disappointment is setting in: despite supposedly extensive experience, things aren't running so smoothly. We had to wait a long time for our food and drinks; everything seemed a bit disorganized. Unfortunately, the service was anything but friendly (we were used to something different). The menu has been changed, and there are now dishes like cevapcici on the menu. We also didn't like the tzatziki as much as we used to. Perhaps things will settle down a bit—we hope so. Personally, we liked the food better at the "Greek" restaurant before and we liked it better. But food is, as we all know, a matter of taste. We will definitely try it again, but if it stays the same as it is now, it will be our last time there.

We had a lovely evening yesterday! The Greek atmosphere and the food were truly amazing. The staff were very friendly. I have no sympathy for people who get upset and can't understand the owner when their card doesn't work. They simply need time and have to get used to their own business first. We're keeping our fingers crossed for the future and will definitely see you again.

Hello everyone, yesterday I visited the new tenants who have only been running the restaurant for two weeks (at the beginning of August). The food was absolutely top-notch and the whole family in service and in the kitchen seem totally committed and open. These tenants simply must be given the chance to establish themselves in the Delphi long-term. Unfortunately, the previous tenant wasn't very good. For this reason, I find Mr. Nobody's review absolutely outrageous and unfortunately typical of these days of anonymous online reviews. That's completely unacceptable. Someone was simply venting their frustration. This restaurant is worth a visit and giving the family a fair chance.

The restaurant in Hambach is steeped in tradition, but the new owners have brought a real breath of fresh air! From the moment you enter, you'll feel the warm hospitality and pleasant atmosphere. The menu offers authentic Greek dishes of the highest quality – freshly prepared, deliciously seasoned, and in generous portions. The grilled dishes and appetizers are a particular highlight. The service is also impressive: attentive, friendly, and very welcoming. You can tell that the work here is done with passion and that the guests are the focus. In conclusion: Under new management, the Delphi restaurant in Hambach has become a real insider tip – ideal for a cozy evening with friends or family. Highly recommended! 🇬🇷✨

Unfortunately, the service was abysmal. Two weeks after opening, it's still completely unorganized. Drinks weren't served despite repeated reminders. The food is okay—but it was better under the previous owner—and the portions aren't very large. And then there's the cash issue... Unfortunately, that's no longer an option for us for the time being!

Today was the opening, and they said cash only. In the middle of a city, they don't accept cards... suspicious... The beer was warm, the salad was a disgrace! But when they brought us the main course... we paid for the warm beer and left! The worst Greek restaurant within 100 km!

The food was incredibly good, the service was very friendly and quick if you wanted something. All in all a very successful evening. I would be happy to come back if you ever happen to be in the town. Absolute recommendation from the 5 funny people from Pott!

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food because I left the restaurant straight away. I think it's absolutely excessive to charge almost €4 extra for a simple sauce swap. When I mentioned this, I was treated unkindly by the waitress - an absolute no-go. It was also very cold in the restaurant, which made the stay anything but pleasant. Given the prices are quite high, I expect respectful treatment and no cheeky comments at the end.

Das war’s! Einmal und nie wieder. Ich hatte vor 8 Tagen einen Tisch für 9 Personen für Ostersonntag bestellt. Heute Probeessen und und mir den Tisch zeigen lassen von der Chefin selbst. Rechnung war 29,10 . Ich wollte mit EC Karte zahlen. Wurde abgelehnt, erst ab 30€ mit Karte. Im Internet steht das Kartenzahlung möglich. Ich habe dann BAR gezahlt und sofort meine Reservierung für 9 Personen am Ostersonntag storniert. Was soll man zu solchen Wirtsleuten sagen?

Friendly staff, short waiting times, clean, some dishes a bit salty (a matter of taste!). Unfortunately there are only a few parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant. The atmosphere could be a little more modern. Of course we'll be back!

We had dinner here and it tasted very good! The portion was large and filling. The service was great - very friendly and quick! Gladly again!

We were warmly welcomed even though we hadn't reserved a table. As a welcome there was an ouzo on the house. The drinks were brought to the table very quickly and the salad arrived almost at the same time. We really enjoyed this with the dressing. We also really enjoyed the main course. The waitress came to our table and asked if everything was OK. Conclusion - great service, great food. Unfortunately the journey is too far for us because we live in the Allgäu otherwise we would visit the restaurant more often.

Good Greek in the middle of Hambach

The two of us went to the restaurant today! You can't complain about the food, service and ambience! BUT... we ordered a platter for 2 people (€54.90) and wanted rump steak instead of lamb, which wasn't a problem when ordering. But asking for an extra €30 even though we only swapped something and lamb is significantly more expensive than rump steak - is really cheeky and completely incomprehensible! Therefore the first and last time for me! Too bad

The service staff was extremely unfriendly, they looked for a free table for us without a reservation sign, when we were about to take a seat we were asked what we wanted... at least I had the feeling that they were annoyed. The terrace was almost empty, there were a few reservation signs on the tables. I've read several bad reviews about unfriendliness, I would think about it as a restaurateur. Was there last time.

Schade war schon öfters dort,diesmal entäuschend. Trotz berechtigter Reklamation kein Entgegenkommen oder ein Versuch mich als Gast zufrieden zu stellen. Angriffslustig wollte man mir nicht frischen Salat als solchen darbieten und das zweimal in Folge.Erst die Chefin dann die Bedienung.Preise wurden erhöht,Portion verkleinert. Für mich ein No Go,brauche ich kein zweites Mal mehr.Unfreundlich Nein Danke.Ich bin nicht der Gast der ein riesen Theater macht,dass es jeder mitbekommt,aber da fühlte ich mich wirklich veräppelt.Ich weiss wie Frische aussieht und wie diese schmeckt..👎 .

We had lunch with 8 people. The food was very tasty, whether it was zander fillet, salmon, liver, bifteki or gyros, we were all thrilled. The drinks and food were served very quickly, and the service was also great, with repeated questions asking if anything else was needed. Price performance is right!! We'll be back.

Hmm nice and tasty to go out for a Greek meal again…. 😞 The first condition was not friendly from the brand, but if the corners of the mouth hung even further down you could describe them as lips like a dog. Zero enthusiasm, no trace of joy. Well the younger condition was exactly the opposite, very friendly and enjoyed working. Great appetizer. The main course was also great, unfortunately my rump steak wasn't as ordered so I complained about it instead of making it fresh it was thrown back into the pan 😰 I can't eat it from my wife. Unfortunately it was also more tender and juicy. So if you like depressed, depressed service you should definitely reserve a table 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Genau so stellt man sich einen Griechen vor. Das Essen war reichlich und lecker, dazu gab es einen Salat. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich.

Vor 10jahre das essen der Service top.ich war zuletzt mit 6personen Essen.ich werde da kein Euro mehr lassen.essen total versalzen.bekamen das essen mit nach Hause was wir nicht wollten.der Inhaberin, die hatte uns das essen gegeben nochmal obwohl wir es nicht wollten.aber was ich nicht gut noch finde das war der Service.mussten laut rufen das jemand kommt.es war nichts los.mit uns waren vielleicht gerade mal 15 Personen dort. Es ist nicht mehr zu empfehlen..könnte vieles mehr schreiben was wir alle nicht gut fanden.macht euch selbst mal ein Bild.vor 10j war alles top...heute ein flop!!!

Netter Empfang nach Reservierung für Zwei, jetzt Kind dabei, war kein Problem und wurde ebenfalls freundlich begrüßt. Vorspeise extrem frisch, 1a Zutaten und sehr gut abgeschmeckt! Hauptgerichte schön angerichtet - Zaziki in einem Extraschälchen - toll gewürzt und auch hier frische, sehr gute Zutaten. Preis-Leistung sehr gut. Bei der Bestellung wurde nachgefragt, ob der Salat mit Hausdressing oder Essig-Öl-Vinaigrette serviert werden soll. Service perfekt, sehr nett und aufmerksam. Sehr zu empfehlen 😄

Bin (war) seit über 40 Jahren im Delphi und habe alle bisherigen Betreiber erlebt. Waren alle immer sehr herzlich und familiär, mit ausgesprochen gutem Essen. Der neue Pächter selbst ist ebenfall sehr nett und auch das Essen ist weiterhin empfehlenswert. Was mich jedoch massiv stört, ist die Arroganz und Unfreundlichkeit der Chefin und deren Sohn. So etwas haben meine Begleiter und ich bisher noch nie erlebt, und deswegen werde ich mir ein anderes griechisches Restaurant in Neustadt suchen. Schade!!!

Ich war mit einigen Geschäftsfreunden da .Essen war wie immer sehr gut und reichlich. Der Service lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Die Preise im Verhältnis zu anderen Restaurants sehr moderat.

Leider war unser Besuch gestern sehr enttäuschend. Wir kennen das Restaurant seid vielen Jahren und waren regelmäßig bei den beiden Vorbesitzern. Begonnen hat es damit, dass der Tisch mit 8 Personen eng war . Zum Glück waren zwei Kinder dabei. Für die Kinder bestellten wir ein Kinderteller - das Fleisch war teilweise trocken und nicht genießbar. Wir wollten zur Hähnchenbrust Gemüse bestellen , statt Reis war nicht möglich. Wir hatten gefragt mit welchem Dressing der Salat ist. Geantwortet wurde mit Essig& Öl. Es kam weißes Dressing. Fast alle Beilagensalate gingen zurück . Mein Bruder bestellte Fisch es kam Fleisch . Kalamares völlig ungewürzt . Wir hatten leere Gläser und mussten die Bedingungen immer wieder rufen für Getränke. Leider Daumem nach unten 👎👎👎👎

Kann man auf jedem Fall weiter empfehlen. Essen gut , Service sehr gut und aufmerksam, Ambiente....etwas kalt. Aber das ändert nichts an der Tatsache, daß ich nicht dort hin gehen würde. Alles in einem.....einfach hingehen. Empfehlenswert. 👍

Das Essen war bis auf die Garnelen sehr gut. Diese waren wohl nicht mehr frisch. Eine absolute Katastrophe war allerdings die Location. Eine Unterhaltung war fast unmöglich auf Grund der Lautstärke. Der Service war unaufmerksam und hatte die Angewohnheit die Getränke und Speisen quer über den Tisch zu geben. Man wollte wohl einfach nicht so weit laufen. Ich war 1999 das letzte Mal im Delphi und fand es früher super. Nach meinem gestrigen Besuch glaube ich nicht, dass ich das noch einmal brauche.

Zum zweiten Mal wieder hier seit Betreiberwechsel. Und wieder lecker gegessen bei akzeptablen Preisen. Netter Service. Danke, wir kommen wieder.

We bezochten dit restaurant na een bezoek aan het pittoreske stadje Hambach. Als welkom kregen we een ouzo aangeboden, tof. Het eten was heel lekker en de bediening heel vlot en vriendelijk. Enig minpunt was dat het niet lukte om met de kaart te betalen.

Auch nach Besitzerwechsel immernoch sehr gut !

Sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung! Das Essen war super lecker und (entgegen einiger anderen Rezensionen hier) die Portionen waren definitiv ausreichend, sodass wir satt geworden sind bzw. Unseren Rest als doggybag mitgenommen haben.

Seit Toni und seine Familie das Delphi übernommen haben, gehen wir nach wie vor sehr gerne dort hin. Der frische Wind mit ein paar Änderungen ist doch mal etwas Anderes und freut uns sehr. Wünsche dir und deiner Familie weiterhin viel Erfolg, macht weiter so. Wir kommen immer sehr gerne zu unserem Lieblingsgriechen nach Hambach.

Bedienung sehr unfreundlich, essen nur lauwarm. Voraussetzung man bekommt das Essen was man bestellt hat. Wenn man Kritik äußert, wird nur schroff geantwortet und sich dann auf griechisch über die Gäste beim restlichen Personal beschwert.
