I ordered salad dressing with my pizza (may be a culinary sin for some, but I think it's great) & I was told: "No, that's against the rules" Conclusion: Unfortunately there was no salad dressing for me. And until then I thought the customer was king.

Absolutely disappointed. It's Saturday evening and you want to order a pizza. You order a hot dog pizza with extra minced meat. The pizza arrives, you open the box and see this thing lying there. I looked in vain for the minced meat and sausages. There were exactly two slices of cucumber on top. I paid extra for the minced meat and didn't get it. In the end it was dough with cheese, remoulade, ketchup and fried onions. I think it's really cheeky to even deliver something like that, it has nothing to do with hot dog pizza. I've decided that I'll never order from here again!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately only 1 star! The food has nothing to do with Italy. Bruschetta is smeared with cream cheese and liverwurst, for example. The 4 cheese pizza is enough to kill someone. A solid mass. In terms of taste, no taste at all. You have to specifically ask if you want your pizza dough cooked through, i.e. not white dough. The Parmesan bed is made of some kind of dough. It is not crispy and it doesn't taste of Parmesan. It's such a shame! 😢 We have been to different Italian regions so many times and to different Italian restaurants here in Germany too, but the food at your place really has nothing to do with Italy. I'm sorry.

The price-performance ratio is absolutely terrible! This small salad (page 1, Cretan salad) costs €9.20! That's bordering on outrageous! It consists only of tomatoes, cucumbers, a bit of arugula, and feta. It comes with pizza bread. At this price, I definitely expected a large salad! You can see the comparison in the photo. (We've already eaten some of it.) The large salad (page 2) costs €11.60. That's completely out of proportion.

Great rooms, a cool bar, and friendly staff! What more could a guest ask for?

Greatest pizza I've ever eaten 10/10

Since the beginning of March, Valentino has been an Indian restaurant (Bombay Tandori) under the same management and service. The complete package was fine at Valentino (I was here regularly), but now as an Indian it's fascinating and you can actually recommend everything on the menu. Great place!

We reserved a table at 6 p.m. After the first order was taken quite quickly, we waited a total of around 1.5 hours for our food. When we asked several times, we were always told it would be ready soon. At some point they admitted that they had forgotten us. Instead of apologies, the justification was essentially based on how much needed to be done. The food we waited so long for was definitely not worth the wait. In particular, my truffle pasta tossed in a parmesan loaf turned out to be pasta with a lot of cream but no taste at all. The only thing that is high quality here is the prices.

Very nice Italian restaurant in Schmalkalden. I ate here for the first time since the ownership changed and was very surprised. I found the pizza with thin dough and nice pizza sauce very tasty. I also really enjoyed the spaghetti, but the cheese wasn't my cup of tea as it was unfortunately a bit flattened by the packaging. Ambience is also quite ok, a bit loud and hot due to the open space, but ok since it is only a very small building. People there are all very nice and friendly. All in all, very nice and good that this restaurant is being preserved in Schmalkalden.

Bad ambience. Not good quality meat. Potato wedges were not fresh.

We were there for dinner with 4 people! We received a very friendly welcome and the service was quick, attentive and friendly. The food was very tasty, fresh and prepared quickly. We were all thrilled and would love to come back.

Super friendly staff and delicious food.

I can only recommend it. Great ambience, great service and the food is simply delicious. One star deducted because we couldn't pay a bill over 100 euros with a card.
