Ristorante-Pizzeria-Caffe Da Vinci in Erfurt

We ordered decaffeinated coffee, but received instant coffee where the powder had been stirred in. We had breakfast, and the rolls weren't even crispy. It's okay if they're baked in-house and not from a bakery to save costs, but that they weren't even crispy is unacceptable. The scrambled egg was very greasy, and the tomato and mozzarella side dish had canned herbs instead of fresh basil. It seemed like they were cutting corners wherever possible. The poppy seed cake was also thawed and not homemade. Basically, we weren't impressed, as we've had much better breakfasts for the same price, and this breakfast was truly very poor, so unfortunately, we're giving it a bad rating.

A very nice pizza place located in the city center. They also serve delicious cakes and mega pizzas. Friendly, fast service, and the superb chef pops in from time to time.

Worst pizza for 10.90. I ordered a prosciutto pizza yesterday, and the chef said, "Okay, one HAM pizza, what else?" The dough was absolutely crustless, really dry, thin, and falling apart. Ham, which was apparently supposed to be prosciutto, so really just regular ham from "Ja!" (at least that's what it tasted like). The cheese was definitely not mozzarella, something like already grated Emmental. 👎

I think everything looks very chic and I can only recommend the tomato juice, top restaurant 💯

A hidden little gem 🥰 It may look rather unassuming from the outside, but the inside is simply fantastic. A quiet spot in the hectic city center. A great selection, fast service, very friendly waiters, and reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.

Nice, cozy, bright restaurant with very tasty pizza and extremely friendly, fast service! We were completely satisfied and can highly recommend the restaurant. You can also sit outside in the sheltered courtyard (even in winter with heaters). The Pizza Da Vinci is particularly recommended: plenty of toppings, high-quality ingredients and the base is very thin and the edge is crispy. Also very child-friendly and everything was inviting and very clean. Just note: not barrier-free as you have to climb a few steps.

I ate a goulash soup today. It had already been frozen once, you could tell by the gritty potatoes. That's why meke, soup etc. you freeze without potatoes. It also looked a bit pale, which I thought was good. I used the same two pieces of meat found.

In short: wonderful. The service was super friendly, the Da Vinci pizza tasted good and the wine was at the right temperature. The location is almost an insider tip and the ambience is absolutely right!

A small, somewhat hidden Italian restaurant in the middle of Erfurt city center. I ate here for the first time today and I have to say it was great and I can only recommend it! There were 13 of us here and I have to say, we were served friendly and quickly. The food was great and sufficient and in my opinion way too cheap. So if you want to eat well, cheaply and eat a lot, this is the right place for you.

Generally a nice local but we waited 45 minutes for our order to be taken. When we asked, we were dismissed as being pretty uninterested. The food was quite good, unfortunately there were few vegetarian options.

Short and painless: the two lasagnas we ordered were cheap frozen goods. Something like that is a no-go.

In a very quiet backyard on the Anger you will find this small restaurant with Italian and German cuisine. The taste of the lasagna was a 5/10. It was very reminiscent of a better lasagna from the supermarket. The schnitzel was good, but definitely not homemade and breaded. The fried potatoes were very tasty. The staff, however, was outstanding. Friendly, courteous, helpful. The toilets were also clean. The prices are ok.

A very pleasant institution. Extremely fast and friendly service and, of course, incredibly delicious pizza. We ordered "Da Vinci" - my son rated it as the tastiest pizza in his life, and we are from Odesa. 😉 and that means something.

After the first bite of the lasagna, it was clear to me: I was being served a cheap frozen lasagna (if you've ever eaten it, you won't forget the taste). No trace of minced meat. The pizza wasn't any better. Very thin, bone-dry base, a touch of tomato sauce and tasteless cheese. I can't understand the good reviews here. As a guest you will be cheated there.

Had the funghi pizza, very tasty. Lots of cheese on it, lots of fresh mushrooms and very well seasoned. Size is completely sufficient and the floor is made by hand. Not too crispy but not too soft either (pleasant mouthfeel). Just perfect. Ambiance is also very nice. Because it is in the backyard it is also pleasantly quiet. We had an older gentleman as a waitress and he was also very nice and in a good mood :) Gladly again. We recommend.

I've rarely eaten so badly. We were a group and every meal was not good. The pizzas were totally dry, the spaghetti was soggy, the schnitzel was a frozen schnitzel and that cost almost €19. The crowning achievement, however, was a pizza we ordered. This should be without ham. It was brought with ham. We didn't accept it and wanted the pizza we ordered. Less than 5 minutes later, the same pizza from which the pieces of ham had been removed came back to the table. I've never experienced anything like that either. The young waitress tried very hard, but unfortunately was overwhelmed. The waiter very unfriendly. For us it was the first and last visit.

Service: Mostly friendly but unprofessional. Don't know their own map. Food: Poorly prepared finished products. This is not fresh or Italian cuisine. In Italy, going to court would jeopardize your citizenship. Ambience: Loveless backyard character. Interior not appealing.

The entrance requires careful attention, but the reward is delicious food, for a fair price, Friendly, hospitable welcome and high-level service. Debit card payments possible, but please give them a cash tip, unfortunately they cannot be used as an additional payment.

Mediocre food with some dishes that are not Italian at all. Being authentic would be the magic word. Oh yes and they don't say gypsy sauce anymore! Better, for example, Hungarian-style paprika sauce. We're not in the 90s anymore! 😉

Unfortunately not recommended! Ugly backyard atmosphere, service mostly friendly (depending on the staff), no long waiting times. Food (pizza) was average. For the child we ordered a children's plate of pasta with tomato sauce and received hot sauce, which was inedible for the child. There was no further response to the criticism during the payment process... What a shame!

A really nice restaurant with a friendly waiter. If the kitchen still cooked well now, it would be a real recommendation. The tagliatelle had a strange consistency, the porcini mushrooms were completely watery (probably used frozen and not fried enough), the sauce tasted completely ordinary. I can do it better at home. Schnitzel wasn't a treat for the palate either, the kitchen really needs improvement. What a shame, great location!

The staff was very friendly and we were welcomed straight away. Didn't have to wait long for food. Had a Margherita pizza which was very tasty and I ate all of it even though it was large. However, it was a little too salty for me personally, which is why I give it 4 stars.

The food was below average and the portions were too small for the high prices. However, the atmosphere is very cozy and you can get a table even without a reservation. The waiter was very friendly, but seemed a bit overwhelmed. We probably won't come again, but it's totally ok to stop in once.

Here they not only know how to prepare Italian classics, but also traditional Thuringian dishes. Thank you very much. We've been there a few times and would love to come back.

Italienisches Restaurant, etwas versteckt (im Innenhof) im Zentrum von Erfurt. Der Service und Preis ist sehr gut, das Essen eher durchschnittlich. Das Essen schmeckt, bekommt man aber zu Hause auch so hin. Wenn man etwas kulinarisch gutes möchte, ist dies nicht das richtige Restaurant. Öffentliche, kostenpflichtige Parkplätze in der Nähe. Außensitzplätze vorhanden.

Italienisches Restaurant im Zentrum von Erfurt, etwas versteckt. Ruhig gelegen im Hinterhof. Personal sehr freundlich. Essen okay, Preis/ Leistung passt. Ein durchschnittliches Restaurant, nichts wenn man Erwartungen hat.

Wir hatten eine Betriebsfeier mit 25 Personen. Service etwas unkoordiniert, dafür war das Ambiente super.

I didn't want to leave this comment because the service and restaurant's atmosphere were really good. But when your whole family got food poisoning after eating their pizza (its called Da Vinchi pizza), you have to pay attention to the administration and public about such case. We won't go back there again because of this experience, but everything else was very good at the restaurant

Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen wird meist schnell nach der Bestellung gebracht. Dazu schmeckt das Essen echt gut!

Waren nicht zum ersten Mal hier, lecker Essen und flinke freundliche Bedienung.... Neben der Eingangstür gab es sogar lecker Glühwein für 3,50 Euro

Waren früh da. Entspannte Atmosphäre. Angenehm. Essen OK, also gut. Meine Pizze da Vincci hätte noch ne Minute länger im Ofen bleiben können. Nudeln mit Putenstreifen auch gut. Preis OK, vielleicht 10-15% zu hoch. Aber das ist heute ja fast normal.

Wir hatten Linguini und das Rib Eye Steak und waren begeistert. Freundliche, aufmerksame Bedienung und eine leckeres Dessert. Alles top!

Wundervolle Ambiente in einem kleinen Hinterhof (oder wie man in meiner Generation sagt "it's a vibe") Essen super lecker und der Service grandios und immer da ^_^ Wenn wir in Erfurt leben würden wäre das wohl unser Stammlokal aber auch als Urlauber kann man hier die mega Erfurter Freundlichkeit erleben 😄

Das Essen ist super lecker und der Service ist einwandfrei. Leider liegt das Restaurant etwas versteckt, weswegen wahrscheinlich viele einfach dran vorbeigehen.
