Rucola & Grana - ITALIENISCHES CAFÉ UND RESTAURANT am Märtens Teich in Leinefelde-Worbis

We were there for breakfast and chose the breakfast buffet for 13.90 euros. The buffet offered 1 type of mini rolls, mixed bread, mini cake pieces, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, Mini sausages, Nutella, honey and 1 type of jam, some canned fruit, natural yoghurt, as well as some muesli, sliced ​​fresh fruit, tomato/mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, butter, as well as 1 type of sliced ​​cheese and I think 2 types of sausage, orange and apple juice. Unfortunately it wasn't refilled, only when we asked if there was any cheese left, 4 half slices of cheese were added, unfortunately everything else that was empty wasn't. We were disappointed with the selection of the buffet and that empty plates were not refilled or that we had to explicitly ask. For just under 20 euros per person with a cappuccino for breakfast, we could have expected more. Years ago there was a much larger selection at the breakfast buffet and the staff were more considerate and refilled things on their own. There is still a lot of room for improvement!

Our 3 pasta dishes were great. Every dish is freshly prepared, which pays off in terms of taste. Unfortunately, a “misunderstanding” led to another waiting time.

We were in Leinefelde today as part of the German Hiking Day. This restaurant was recommended to us during the hike and we were not disappointed. The service was very friendly, a meal (pasta) was specially prepared due to an allergy, was extremely tasty and the pizza was amazing. Full recommendation!

We were there for the first time this evening and I have to say that the two pizzas we had tasted really delicious. The price-performance ratio is very good in my opinion. The staff were very friendly and you could see that the chef made the food with love! Our experience was really great. The only point of criticism that I noticed is that the hands are kept on the windows, which was a bit annoying, but there is also a lot going on there and that's why I think they will still work on that. We can only recommend eating there, we will definitely come back and try the pasta there. Big praise

The food was delicious, but the service was terrible. Pretty much everything that could be done wrong was done wrong. Unfortunately, this generally applies to the Eichsfeld service desert (with a few exceptions). I don't blame the waitresses at all, but dear restaurateurs - please invest a little more in the training of your service staff!

Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed during our visit. Extremely long waiting times for both food and drinks. We would have liked to eat more but didn't have the opportunity. The pizza was good but not comparable to before. The pizza was black on the edge. The pasta was specially ordered without cheese, when served there was cheese on the pasta. We didn't return them because we didn't want to wait any longer. Given the long waiting times, I don't understand why they also offer food to pick up. The restaurant doesn't seem to be able to keep up, especially on weekends.

The pizza tasted very good. With the pasta with strips of beef fillet, the meat was very well done and therefore very tough. The ambience is nice with the panorama of the pond, but the windows are very dirty. Overall recommended.

I've been there twice so far. Unfortunately, I was always disappointed. We always came with 4 people. The first time a pizza was so black that we had to complain about it. Of course, a pizza can turn black, but you can't bring it to the customer. We were there again recently. This time I thought I would use noodles. The shrimp were great except that the shell was still on. I then had to clean these little things myself. Also, the pasta was drowned in olive oil. Unfortunately, you will no longer be able to welcome me as a guest there. Very unfortunate

By far the best pizza in the area. We eat here regularly without a single negative experience. The restaurant is usually very busy, which means longer waiting times. But if the food tastes good, you're happy to accept the compromise. Very fair prices!

Very, very long waiting times in an almost empty restaurant. One waitress was friendly and another seemed annoyed and overwhelmed. It all seemed very disorganized and unprofessional. At home we realized that we overpaid for a dish. The pizza used to be much better.

The only thing nice here is the view of the pond... The quality of the food used to be much better, so people were happy to accept a bit of a wait. Service and waiting times are a disaster. You have to wait a very long time for drinks and food, we got our own cutlery, drinks are forgotten when there are several people... everything just takes a very long time, even if there are only a few guests in the restaurant. On our last visit, we realized at the end that one drink had been overcharged, but we also ran out of time and patience.

Right by the pond... that was it :-( Service.... Minus 5 stars, had to go in to order myself... after waiting at the table for 15 minutes and no service came. Chocolate cup... 2 scoops and cream.... not possible.... unfriendly, no service... no love.. best to avoid local.

Went there for the breakfast buffet a while ago and it was good. Today for a pizza and it was excellent again. Gladly again! Really Italian and authentic feeling.

Bad service, one of 3 pizzas ordered was forgotten and "burnt" in the oven, the bottom is covered in soot because apparently the oven is not cleaned, and the chef works high (on grass).

In my opinion one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. Nice ambience with large windows making it very bright and with a view of the Märtens pond. The service is very friendly. The food is fantastic both pizza, calzone and pasta. There is nothing comparable in the region in terms of taste and quality. Full recommendation from me.

Delicious Italian cuisine from a lovely Italian. No standard zero eight fifteen pseudo Italo food but original recipes. You can taste the homeland and the influence of mom. We regularly travel from Heiligenstadt to Fabio's and usually enjoy our food directly in the kitchen. As in 🇮🇹. Thank you for existing, keep it up.

Nice ambience and delicious food

We came with 4 adults and 3 children, which we were able to easily reserve shortly in advance via chat. Very nice welcome and the table was perfect for us. The food was very tasty and our special requests were addressed without any problem. Even if something didn't quite work out, the staff remained incredibly polite and confident. The ambience is great, the view over the lake is charming. Keep it up, we'll be happy to come back!

Disappointment! Six of us had reserved a table at 5:30 p.m. and were therefore almost the first guests for the evening. Unfortunately, it took over 30 minutes for the first waitress to come over to take our food and drink orders. After the restaurant slowly became fuller and guests who came after us had already received their food, we asked the waitress whether our orders might have been missed. She then politely apologized and asked in the kitchen. In the end we only got our food after 2 hours! The noodles were extremely salty and the steak was still dripping with blood. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to have the food returned or to even eat in peace because we still had tickets for a show and the admission time had already started at that point. After we had almost finished eating, the forgotten salad side dishes were simply placed on the table without a word. The owner noticed all of this and simply sent his employees to us instead of apologizing to us personally. That was the biggest disappointment! We were definitely there for the last time...

There were two of us for breakfast, very nice atmosphere, great selection and very tasty. The waitress could come by a little more often, otherwise highly recommended.

We were there today for the Sunday buffet and were very satisfied. There was enough of everything and it was constantly being replenished. The service was polite and attentive and repeatedly cleared the bread roll table and the buffet area of ​​crumbs and the like. Everything was great 👍

We were there on Sunday in January 2024 & there were a total of around 40-50 people on site & 3 employees. The shop opens at 9am & we were there at 9:30am. There was a big bundle of hair under the table, the cupboard where there was a big vase was completely covered in dust, and there was water on the toilet floor! All in all VERY UNCLEAN! In addition, the buffet was constantly empty! The filling was usually 3 fried eggs, scrambled eggs took forever, a few Viennese came every now and then & there were 2 different types of sausage to choose from (Italian salami & ham), a type of cheese, salmon etc. The minced meat that is on the menu was there not. Sparkling wine only on request. Coffee took forever because each coffee is made individually using a fully automatic machine. The orange juice wasn't refilled for ¾ hour!!! The older employee's rude statement was "we can't do it ourselves!" (Although there was enough juice behind the counter... the waitress ate Viennese at the same time & the hard part was around 11.30am, when the breakfast buffet ends & lunch continues, with the bowls of sausage & co. in their bare hands A new container was thrown in which the pizzas would then be topped. I cannot recommend this store. Been there once & probably never again... Price per person for breakfast €16.90

Despite reservations, our seats were allocated differently. There was still a discussion with us because we came with 8 people instead of 10 people. Even eight people couldn't find space. We are very disappointed! This was a Christmas present to our parents. We even came from Austria and Erfurt. Even one star is too much for this rudeness.

Gemütlich mit Blick auf den Stadtteich. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und schnell. Die italienische Speisekarte ist übersichtlich und sehr lecker.

Die Pizza war sehr lecker. Schön knusprig und reichlich belegt. Auch der Nachtisch ist sehr zu empfehlen. Alles in allem ein gutes Restaurant, ABER nicht perfekt. Was Ich schlecht finde, ist die Auswahl an Getränken. Meiner Meinung nach gehören Getränke wie Whisky, Wodka, Rum oder auch Fanta/Spezi zu den Basics in der Gastronomie. Da es solche Longdrinks nicht gibt, ist es nichts um Abends mal mit Freunden was trinken zu gehen. Daher leider Abzüge bei den Sternen. SG

Das Essen ist dort sehr gut und der Service ist freundlich, allerdings riechen nach einem Abend dort die ganzen Sachen, irgendetwas stimmt anscheinend dort nicht so mit der Ablüftung

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell. Am Buffet war eine große Auswahl. Viel Obst, O-Saft, verschiedene Brötchen, Gehacktes, Eier in allen Variationen, Wurst, hochwertiger italienischer Schinken,.... Peis/Leistung in der Region unschlagbar.

Es ist ein kleines feines Café/ Restaurant. Wir waren dort zum Frühstück/Brunch und es war ausgezeichnet. Auswahl am Buffet war ausreichend und für jeden was dabei. Der Ausblick über den Teich ist absolut Klasse.

Jeder verdient eine zweite Chance... sie wurde genutzt... Deshalb 5 Sterne...Essen z.B. Pizza echt super...

So nun wollte ich mal in der alten Heimat Pizza essen. Laut alten Freunden die beste Pizza weit und breit. Nun ja - durch Hamburg und meine eigenen Pizzakreationen bin ich wohl etwas verwöhnt. Ich hab auf jeden Fall mehr erwartet. Die Pizza wirkte von der Karte her sehr nach neapolitanischer Pizza - am Ende konnte sie sich aber nicht entscheiden ob sie lieber das oder lieber eine römische sein wollte. Der Teig war auf jeden zu kurz gereift für meinen Geschmack. Dazu kommt viel zu viel vom (günstigen) Käse/Mozarella unter der Salami was das Bild zusätzlich trübte. Dazu kam der Service der wie man leider an den Rezensionen auch öfter erkennt etwas überfordert und verbesserungswürdig ist. Der Laden war Halbvoll als wir kamen - später maximal Dreiviertel. Es wurde aber immer mehr Das war aber schon von Anfang an zu viel - bis mal jemand kam und die Bestellung aufnahm dauerte es mindestens 20min. Dann kam der falsche Saft und später für den Junior die falsche Pizza - und das wo das Kind nach der langen Wartezeit eh schon der ungeduldigste Part war. Da ist noch Luft nach oben. Auch wenn das Essen solide war. Aber mehr eben auch nicht.

Wir waren die letzten Jahre einige Male im Rucola & Grana zum Essen und sind stets sehr zufrieden gewesen. Die Küche ist authentisch italienisch, herzhaft, reichhaltig und einfach lecker. Das letzte Mal hatten wir Carpaccio als Vorspeise und danach Pizza und Pasta. Das Carpaccio war frisch und sehr harmonisch abgeschmeckt - wirklich köstlich. Pizza und Pasta wie immer hervorragend. Ich würde jetzt nicht sagen, dass es die beste Pizza der Welt ist, aber sicherlich eine der besten in der Region! Was gibt es sonst noch zu sagen: Freundlicher Service; Modernes schickes Ambiente mit guter Aussicht; Und die Preise passen auch. Alles in allem weiter so und dann kommen wir gerne oft wieder! Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Stellt eure Klimaanlage bitte zwei Grad höher ein.

Es war sehr gut besucht zu wenig Personal die kleine Kellnerin tat uns leid ! Das Frühstück war sehr gut und ausreichend!

Wollten nur kurz was Essen, hatten ne Stunde Zeit wegen Tisch Bestellung, ausreichend sollte man meinen. Dann nahm Elend seinen Lauf, die drei Alkoholfreien Weizen waren schlecht eingeschänkt, auf Nachfrage gab's neue mit der Erklärung die schäumen so🙄. Hierbei stellte sich raus das eins Alkohol hatte, wie zuvor wolhl auch schon in der Runde😔also wieder eins zurück! Dann haben wir ewig gewartet für dreimal Nudeln mit Steinpilzen und meine Pizza Caprese, die kam als die anderen mit ihren Nudeln fertig waren, der Höhepunkt war das schon abgeräumt wurde während ich noch gegessen habe und gefragt ob es geschmeckt hat,😠 geht gar nicht! Zudem sind andere Gäste, welche nach uns kamen, vor uns mit bedient worden! Und ein kommen und gehen im Laden wegen Essen zum Mitnehmen.

Wir waren zum Frühstück dort. Das Buffet war reichlich und lecker. Gern hätten wir noch länger gesessen und noch einen Kaffee bestellt, leider waren die Servicekräfte nie zu sehen obwohl das Restaurant nicht voll war. Andere sind verständlicheeweise ohne zu bestellen wieder gegangen, da die Bedienung nicht kam.

Wir sind Stammgäste und kommen gerne immer wieder. Die original italienische Küche ist sehr schmackhaft.

Waren lange nicht da, aber es ist wie immer absolut fantastisch gewesen. Pizza, wie sie sein sollte. Besser gehts nicht. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das Vitello. Ein Genuß. Auch das Pizzabrot dazu war Bombe. Nachtrag: heute zum Frühstücksbuffet gewesen. Auch perfekt. Qualität, vor allem der Produkte, hat sich zu früher sehr stark verbessert.
