Little food but way too expensive and hair in the food

The service has declined significantly since the two ladies left. Food is still good, but service can be forgotten...Chef complains, food is brought when the others are already finished, inattentive, drinks empty, etc. That wasn't the case before...Addendum from 10/3/24 : Today we were very satisfied again. Boss in a good mood....food delicious and service fast...

The location and the ambience itself were quite well done. Service was nice and courteous. What really irritated me was that there are QR codes at the tables with the menu, but it doesn't have any prices. I first had to ask for a physical card where the prices were. The cocktails were good in terms of price/performance, but the pizza was unfortunately a bit too hard and dry, especially on the edge.

I don’t understand why anyone would rate this place under 5 stars. The service is excellent , attention to details is on point. Our host was not only welcoming, but also attended to my girlfriend’s requests to get dietary options. Would always recommend to anyone visiting the city here!

Unfortunately I have to rate this "restaurant" as more than subpar. My cheese was rotten and the staff was more than rude. Go somewhere else

We have been coming to Adams Alter Scheune regularly for many years because we really appreciate the ambience, the service and the food. The current owners, Gill and his family, are very friendly hosts and have expanded the previous owner's menu to include some very tasty dishes. The Indian specialties in particular are highly recommended and an absolute asset to the restaurant - we'd love to have more of them! We always feel very comfortable here and look forward to the next dinner.

I am disappointed with the service at this restaurant. The table was barely set, even though there were six of us. There was only a fork, a knife and a plate - and the plate was even chipped. The pizza came uncut so we had to cut it ourselves, which ruined any elegance of the dish. The only bright spot was the wine, which actually tasted good. But unfortunately that couldn't save the evening either.

13 people (restaurant barely occupied, early Friday evening) - Card payment not possible - About 30 minutes after ordering drinks we asked if we could order food or if we had forgotten. - the first ones were finished when the second ones got food. The second ones were finished until the last ones got. - First server didn't know whether the beer was non-alcoholic Pilsner or normal. After we said we ordered shandy, it was shandy. - Second waitress didn't know which salad was with or tuna. After the first round of guessing, the food was swapped. After asking and taking another look, she decided to swap the guests' plates again until it was right. - Pizza extra without anchovies was also noted by the gentleman. She came with anchovies. Please remake. Now there are two options: new pizza or try to take the fish down. - The first ones are ready. Three plates meant that the waitress tried to balance things out with one knee - standing like a flamingo. Now finally. The "new" pizza arrived: However, this fish-free pizza... well... in my opinion, tasted extremely fishy. If I didn't know better, I would say...like anchovies. But it couldn't have been and it was definitely a sensory error on my part. The pizza, which was only partially eaten, was ultimately paid for - in cash, of course. Card payment not possible at the end of 2024 - Hunger... - Instead of parmesan schnitzel there was a children's schnitzel. - When the waitress came and asked if everything had been okay, she was amazed when four meals (!) weren't there, even though they had already been cleared in two rounds. - The food that came right was okay. We were given salt/pepper. - Portions felt very, very small, the salads in particular were not well received. - Our request to speak to the boss was given to the gentleman who took the orders. He didn't come. - Not a word of apology from him. Neither for the incorrectly brought food nor anything else. That would have been the least we would have expected after this magnificent chaos. We initially decided on just 1 review instead of all 8 adults individually. However, we can submit this later if requested.

Food was ok. Nice ambience with comfortable sitting & friendly staff. Price is okay.

Very bad management Orders don't work at all. The boss runs all over the place and hinders the service staff's efforts. We were a larger group and had to come to the counter to pay. Waiting in line for 40 minutes regardless of whether you order food. I don't need to pay. Canteen atmosphere and prices like in a good restaurant. Tick ​​it off and eat somewhere else.
