But if a guest notices an obvious defect in a dish and communicates this to the service staff, then it cannot be the case that they get so angry with a loud Italian spirit that they then bring the guests the ham from which the dish was prepared would have been. At our table, several people noticed this deficiency in the food. In my opinion, it definitely has nothing to do with professionalism. Hopefully other guests noticed. My family has enjoyed going there for many years and I can only recommend this restaurant. Just the day before yesterday I received an excellent turbot there. I have never seen such quality anywhere else in Mainz.

The restaurant is very nice the waiters nice. The food was also okay only unfortunately the apple juice tasted like water and we were found in the middle of eating by a stove shavings 🪳

A cute italian restaurant in a residential area of Mainz. The service was quick and efficient. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable.

The food was really tasty, the cocktails, even if you like them a little stronger, didn't bother me personally👀 The waiting time for food was impressively short for a Saturday evening and considering it was quite full. Many thanks to our service Andi, he was very quick and always friendly;)

Quaint place in the town of Mainz. Really enjoyed the Margherita pizza!

I don't know what the boys learned in the kitchen here, but I'm sure it's not cooking. Subterranean carpaccio (you really can't beat it), the pizza dough is reminiscent of Wrigley's, the spritzers should be called water with some flavor. The pizza is very bland, designer cheese everywhere you can see and simple tomato sauce is apparently also a challenge here. Service was ok. I really don't know what Italian is supposed to be here, the food is definitely not and at these prices it's way too expensive. Luckily we didn't dare to try the overpriced sea bream (even just as a fillet and not in one piece), as this would probably have been a disaster. Mainz may not be known for fine dining, but this one breaks a new record when it comes to doing simple things poorly. It's a shame, we definitely can't recommend this restaurant but urgently visit another one. Unfortunately, we ourselves fell for the good reviews posted here. Unfortunately happens sometimes.

We were disappointed. The food was okay, the service disappointing. My wife specifically ordered a pizza for our child with just tomato sauce and no greens on top. The older waiter noted this on his pad. Of course, it came with greens on top... After complaining, he said they only had sauce with spices in it. That's fine, but why not say that directly when taking the order? Compared to other Italian restaurants, this restaurant is not at all child-friendly. Our child didn't even get their own cutlery. The drink prices are outrageous. You pay almost €6 for 0.4 drinks... We won't be returning.

The boss knows why you only give one star here. Otherwise, talk to his female employees. Even with those from the past.

Very cozy restaurant and good service but the food was really not good. Ordered tuna/onion pizza, was extremely salty, dough was soggy and wet. Normal pizza, nothing extraordinary.
