Today we went for dinner and today my wife and I, the waiter, told us as soon as we walked in that we only had 20 minutes for dinner and there was still an hour and a half until closing time. Terrible. I won't be back.

Very bad, the waiter was very unfriendly, we went to dinner and he didn't let us in and told us they were closing in 20 minutes and there was an hour and a half left until closing time, I don't recommend it because of the waiter's unfriendly treatment.

The pizza was very large but quite dry, the Cola and Mezo Mix lacked carbon dioxide. The staff is nice but hardly there and the place is pretty run down. Unfortunately not recommended

The food (both pizza and pasta) is very tasty. The pizza dough is nice and thin and the toppings are very fresh. Optionally you can have the pizza topped with two types. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the penne arrabiata in particular is highly recommended. The atmosphere is also very pleasant.

Experience has shown that the restaurant is very full before the evening movies start (6:30-7:30 p.m.). During this rush hour, the kitchen and service rotate - but in my opinion they are well adjusted to the times. There are many places, both inside and outside. Large pizza shared between two people always works very well for us and represents a good price-performance ratio these days. Atmosphere is relaxed and informal. Wouldn't celebrate a 50th birthday there, but it was just the right location for the teens. I also always find the limonata and iced teas on their own label very tasty.

As you would expect from this chain, super tasty food. Pizzas are more intended for 2 people. The service leaves a lot to be desired! We were there twice and despite it not being very busy we weren't asked if we wanted something more to drink! Well, we saved money and didn't realize your sales. The ambience is boring by Mainz standards.

We had a salad that we ordered because of the avocado. The avocado was so hard that you couldn't cut it or chew it. We asked and were told that unfortunately all avocados today are so hard. If that is the case, then how can one offer this dish??? We didn't get any special prices or discounts either. We were there today for the first and last time. Are really disappointed.

Wow, I'm just thrilled. The size of the pizzas and the freshness of the lemonades are simply fantastic. Great bartenders, especially Gabriel, was very accommodating and gave us good advice. The gin and tonic to round off the evening was also very tasty. We'll definitely be back.

So far I've actually found L'Osteria okay, but the last time was terrible. Pizza didn't taste like anything for €15, so TK Pizza would have been a better option. Dough was wobbly, cheese was like rubber and it was dripping with oil... Then I'd rather have a good Neapolitan pizza at a real Italian restaurant!

The food was okay as usual. Ambience just too loud. Service didn't check whether we were taken care of. Someone from us always went specifically to order drinks.

Big and tasty pizza and friendly atmosphere

We dined here on a Monday afternoon/early evening without a reservation. Due to the time it wasn't very crowded, we were able to choose a seat from the available tables for two. The service staff was very friendly. The drinks we ordered came very quickly and we didn't have to wait long for the BBQ chicken pizza and calzone we ordered. Both dishes were very tasty. Unfortunately, the pizza had a few burnt corners and the toppings were rather unevenly distributed. The portion sizes are known to be “out of the box”, which is why the waitress had to pack up the leftovers for us ;) For dessert there was a panna cotta and an espresso. The panna cotta was very good, unfortunately the strawberries weren't ready yet, which is something we have to deal with at the end of March.

I've been to L'Osteria Mainz several times now and I'm thrilled every time! The pizza is huge and super tasty – thin crust, fresh ingredients and great taste. The pasta is also highly recommended. Service is always friendly, attentive and well organized, even when the store is full.

We were there spontaneously today. It was a Tuesday afternoon and not very busy. We had little time and the service and cuisine were great. In 12 minutes we had a huge rocket pizza with Parma ham on top and a lasagne. The pizza was huge and we were given a box for the leftovers. Pizza and lasagna were delicious. Fun fact: you can learn Italian in a fun way over the loudspeaker in the toilet. Perfect for a meal before or after a trip to the cinema at Cinestar. You can also sit outside, just sit on the main street. Many thanks to the whole team! We would love to come back...

As always, super tasty. We tried something new again and were absolutely thrilled.

Some of the staff were unfriendly. When we asked if we could choose where we wanted to sit, they gave us a hard time. Their response was completely unfriendly and arrogant. They told us to only sit at a table for two. We didn't intend to sit at a table for four with just two people. The sound was the only thing that mattered. The pizza tasted like ash. The only thing that was tasty was the house lemonade.
