Fast service and very good pizza Ordered half-and-half. Whenever we're in Mainz, we visit Losteria. Our server was extremely nice and we were very satisfied.

The Cuba Libre was very well made and tasted fantastic. The bartender was also very friendly!

The pizzas are huge but super tasty. The half half pizzas are recommended, then you can try more 😋

We had a salad that we ordered because of the avocado. The avocado was so hard that you couldn't cut it or chew it. We asked and were told that unfortunately all avocados today are so hard. If that is the case, then how can one offer this dish??? We didn't get any special prices or discounts either. We were there today for the first and last time. Are really disappointed.

Delicious food and large portions

Very nice and competent service staff, the reception was a little cold (listless) but this was made up for by the service staff. Conclusion: A successful visit and we will definitely come back HAPPY EASTER

Wow, I'm just thrilled. The size of the pizzas and the freshness of the lemonades are simply fantastic. Great bartenders, especially Gabriel, was very accommodating and gave us good advice. The gin and tonic to round off the evening was also very tasty. We'll definitely be back.

The food was okay as usual. Ambience just too loud. Service didn't check whether we were taken care of. Someone from us always went specifically to order drinks.

So far I've actually found L'Osteria okay, but the last time was terrible. Pizza didn't taste like anything for €15, so TK Pizza would have been a better option. Dough was wobbly, cheese was like rubber and it was dripping with oil... Then I'd rather have a good Neapolitan pizza at a real Italian restaurant!

Big and tasty pizza and friendly atmosphere

Very good food and drink. We didn't have to wait too long for our food and it tasted delicious.

We dined here on a Monday afternoon/early evening without a reservation. Due to the time it wasn't very crowded, we were able to choose a seat from the available tables for two. The service staff was very friendly. The drinks we ordered came very quickly and we didn't have to wait long for the BBQ chicken pizza and calzone we ordered. Both dishes were very tasty. Unfortunately, the pizza had a few burnt corners and the toppings were rather unevenly distributed. The portion sizes are known to be “out of the box”, which is why the waitress had to pack up the leftovers for us ;) For dessert there was a panna cotta and an espresso. The panna cotta was very good, unfortunately the strawberries weren't ready yet, which is something we have to deal with at the end of March.

Very nice restaurant. We were served very warmly and the price-performance ratio was right. Top!

I've been to L'Osteria Mainz several times now and I'm thrilled every time! The pizza is huge and super tasty – thin crust, fresh ingredients and great taste. The pasta is also highly recommended. Service is always friendly, attentive and well organized, even when the store is full.

We were there spontaneously today. It was a Tuesday afternoon and not very busy. We had little time and the service and cuisine were great. In 12 minutes we had a huge rocket pizza with Parma ham on top and a lasagne. The pizza was huge and we were given a box for the leftovers. Pizza and lasagna were delicious. Fun fact: you can learn Italian in a fun way over the loudspeaker in the toilet. Perfect for a meal before or after a trip to the cinema at Cinestar. You can also sit outside, just sit on the main street. Many thanks to the whole team! We would love to come back...

Some of the staff were unfriendly. When we asked if we could choose where we wanted to sit, they gave us a hard time. Their response was completely unfriendly and arrogant. They told us to only sit at a table for two. We didn't intend to sit at a table for four with just two people. The sound was the only thing that mattered. The pizza tasted like ash. The only thing that was tasty was the house lemonade.

It was very tasty. The employees were very friendly. However, we had to wait an hour for our order. Otherwise everything was great!

The food was more expensive than the menu we got before. The waiter, very unmotivated, inattentive and not particularly friendly. The food was at least quite tasty. The app is also for the bin. I wanted to redeem my vouchers and was told that that wasn't possible because you have to let me know before you order. But this isn't pointed out beforehand and I don't fully understand why.

The place seems nice but that's about it. The pizza was very cold. The antipasti was super dry that we had to ask for oil. No salt or pepper. Dessert was good.

I love L'Osteria in general and everything is available in Mainz: nice ambience, very tasty food and great service. And I discovered that there is now a zero sugar iced tea and had a non-alcoholic Hugo for the first time, which I can only recommend! So off to L'Osteria in Mainz 😍

To be honest, eating at L Osteria is always a positive experience. Price performance is 100% right So after the pizzas you are really full, you can order extra toppings, which are not expensive considering the prices. As a couple you can also order a split pizza (see picture) on one half there is the topping your partner wants and on the other half there is the other topping you want (great concept and the pizza costs as much as the most expensive topping costs) There is a relatively large selection of drinks and there is also some non-alcoholic drinks. The service is very nice and the food always comes very quickly, without long waiting times (approx. 5-10 minutes), so you don't have to go hungry for long :) The ambience is also very commendable, very nicely decorated and in winter there is also the option to eat outside in an attached tent. Overall it's a very nice restaurant that I would recommend to anyone if you want to eat a large and good pizza or pasta for a fair price.

We have known L'Osteria for a very long time! Service, staff, reservations and service are top. Unfortunately, we missed the grilled vegetables from the menu when we ordered vegetarian pizzas. In other branches, especially in Allgäu, Munich and Wiesbaden, we always ate fried/grilled aubergines, peppers and zucchini slices on pizzas. In Mainz, however, there were only a few diced eggplants sprinkled on pizzas. We found this very strange. Maybe there aren't enough vegetables in Mainz!!😀 We think this is a shame! Otherwise we were very satisfied. The next time we visit Mainz, we will address this again in advance and pay attention to it. We wish the team continued success

L’Osteria impressed me with its fresh, homemade pasta – perfectly al dente and with a wonderfully balanced sauce. The service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant. An all-round successful visit that I would be happy to repeat!
