Unfortunately we discovered that the beloved Luca is no longer the owner. In addition, the prices were raised really well. Personally, I wasn't convinced by the new owner. We were happy to come because we felt comfortable and were able to eat well and cheaply.
Today you can still eat just as well, the chef is the same, but for significantly more money and less Luca.
E.g.: a large tomato soup 14 euros... So for a bowl of tomato soup, you really don't need many ingredients, whether from Italy or Germany. This cannot be explained.
It's a shame we won't come back for the money.
Eating here for the first time today based on a recommendation, there's not much to say, just perfect. The boss came to the table and asked if everything was okay. Keep it up, highly recommended.
Today April 6th, 2025 there again with Vader 94 walker and small dog. No problem at all, very nice reception and again very good and tasty food.
Es war sehr lecker und die Atmosphäre war gut. Wir waren im Januar'24 schonmal da und haben dieses Mal gemerkt, dass es leider nicht an die Zeit ran kommt als Massimo noch da war. Massimo fehlt in diesem Restaurant.
can highly recommend this restaurant! The food is incredibly tasty, freshly prepared and prepared with a lot of love. The staff are super nice, warm and really care about their guests - you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere in the restaurant is simply great: cozy, friendly and inviting. Everything is just right here – we’ll definitely be happy to come back again and again!
The food is really very good, but... The last two times we didn't feel welcome. When we arrived, the owner asked us the unspoken question, "What do you want here?" After a long wait, we had to specifically ask for the desserts, otherwise there would probably have been nothing. You could see that there is another way when dealing with regular guests. Too bad. Our visits were in January and April with reservations.
Four of us were guests on the terrace on a Tuesday evening.
I'll say it right away - it was a 5/5.
The food (pizza, pasta, fish, and meat were all there) was excellent. The prices were reasonable and fair!
But the best part of all was the service. So attentive. We completely lost track of time and suddenly it was 12:30 AM (official opening hours are until 11:00 PM!!). Nevertheless, they simply politely asked if we could settle the bill. They even had the schnapps on the house!
I was almost uncomfortable, but I would like to express my sincere gratitude for this hospitality! I will recommend you wherever I can!
Best regards
We visited Casa Passini as a stopover on our holiday trip and were really pleasantly surprised. Even though I couldn't enjoy the pizza in peace because my little children just wouldn't sit still, the visit was absolutely worth it.
It was my first time having a Sicilian pizza and I chose a variant with spicy salami. It was simply incredibly delicious. The dough had risen wonderfully, the tomato sauce had a lot of flavor and the salami was spicy and perfectly balanced.
My husband had a variant with salami, ham and mushrooms. This pizza also had excellent toppings and each ingredient was very tasty. You can tell that the cooking here is made with love.
A very special plus point was the gentleman behind the counter, who also cooked at the same time. Such a charming and warm person who served with a smile and immediately put a smile on the children's faces. That made the visit even nicer.
A great meal that leaves you wanting more. Next time I'll be happy to do it again and hopefully with a bit more peace and quiet to enjoy.
The €19.90 salad from the asparagus menu was meager and didn't even contain a whole asparagus spear. A slice of white bread cost €2.50. The value for money was completely out of whack.
Really great shop!! Super nice interior and well maintained, great service and delicious food. Simply a great Italian restaurant with classic dishes, where the boss also serves. I've been there several times and my satisfaction has been confirmed again and again.
