The food at Trattoria L'Angolo was truly excellent. The gnocchi were fresh and delicious, and the salad was also high-quality and flavorful. You can tell the quality of the food here is evident. The only downside: the prices are unfortunately quite high, so the value for money isn't quite right. Still, a lovely restaurant for a special evening!

We ate there over the weekend and were more than impressed. The service and owners were very friendly and attentive. Our drinks were taken immediately, and bread and olives were brought to us. The food also arrived very quickly, so we didn't have to wait long. The pizza and tomato soup were delicious! The tiramisu and semifreddo were beyond delicious, and all homemade, too. Poor service. Drinks were empty and nothing new came. The food itself was okay. I can't be criticized because there was a fly in the pizza and no insight. Not recommended. We still had to pay for the pizza in full. Never again!

I'm back at Trattoria L'Angolo - and as always it was a pleasure! Authentic Italian cuisine, super friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. You can just tell how much love goes into cooking here. For me one of the best Italian restaurants in the city!

Unfortunately we discovered that the beloved Luca is no longer the owner. In addition, the prices were raised really well. Personally, I wasn't convinced by the new owner. We were happy to come because we felt comfortable and were able to eat well and cheaply. Today you can still eat just as well, the chef is the same, but for significantly more money and less Luca. E.g.: a large tomato soup 14 euros... So for a bowl of tomato soup, you really don't need many ingredients, whether from Italy or Germany. This cannot be explained. It's a shame we won't come back for the money.

Unfortunately my experience with the restaurant L' Angolo di Leverkusen was not positive, especially in terms of the commercial aspects and business practices. I want to share what happened to warn other suppliers and consumers and highlight the importance of transparency in business transactions. In March 2024, on behalf of a third-party company, I delivered to the restaurant a kit of Grappa Marzadro, a high quality product that included six bottles of 0.70l and one bottle of 1.8l. The latter was offered free of charge with the purchase of the kit. The delivery was properly documented with an invoice from the supplier and the goods were handed over to the restaurant and used. However, I was later informed by the supplier that the invoice had never been paid. When I showed up at the restaurant in person, I was told by a relative of the owner that she had taken over the restaurant. I discovered that the kit was still in the restaurant and that the new and previous owner's father had remained in second management. The new owner explained to me that he knew nothing about the origin of the grappa bottles and that they were a gift from the previous owner, without any certificate of origin. I then happened to meet the former owner of the restaurant, who confirmed that he had given the relative the order to pay the bill. However, when I returned to clarify the matter, everything was contradicted. I noticed that the grappa bottles were still in the place, but almost all had been used up. We pointed out that the product was without documentation of origin and that if the goods were sold without any control, other similar products could also be in circulation without the necessary certificates. To protect myself and avoid further complications, I informed the owners that if the invoice of origin was not provided, I would be forced to contact the relevant authorities. Unfortunately, the response was verbal aggression, demanding never to enter the restaurant again. Personally, I do not feel comfortable consuming in a restaurant where the owner does not have a clear idea of ​​​​the origin of the goods he offers. As a supplier, I strongly advise to carefully review the contractual terms and payment arrangements with the current restaurant management to avoid similar inconveniences. In my case, even though I had no direct commercial obligations, I decided to personally compensate the supplier of the grappa, as I believe I have a moral obligation towards him. Therefore, I would like to point out that the grappa you find in the restaurant was paid for by me, although it was never paid for by the restaurant. In order to pay for this grappa, I will have to work honestly and remunerated for 19 days. LG

It was a fantastic evening with excellent food in a great atmosphere. Service attentive and friendly, it couldn't be better! If I lived in Leverkusen, L'Angelo would definitely be "my" Italian!!! Food, service, atmosphere, everything was wonderful!! If you haven't been to L'Angelo yet, you've definitely missed something!!!

I had the pleasure of dining at this Italian restaurant and all I can say is: a real piece of Italy in the middle of the city! As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel the authentic atmosphere - warm, inviting and with a touch of Italian flair. The furnishings are tasteful and exude the perfect balance of elegance and comfort. The service was also impeccable. The staff is attentive, warm and knows the menu inside out. You can tell that the staff take pride in their craft and want every guest to have a wonderful time. I was particularly impressed by the house's wine recommendation - an Italian red wine that harmonized perfectly with our menu and rounded off the evening perfectly. All in all, a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to everyone. Whether for a romantic dinner for two, a meal with friends or a special occasion - this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I'm looking forward to my next visit and trying more of the menu's delicacies.

Yesterday we went back to our “favorite Italian” after a long time and were happy all week. But what can I say, the service was virtually non-existent, after being stuck on dry land for over an hour, we changed the location. The portions have been reduced and the prices have increased significantly. We also believe that the owners have changed because we didn't know anyone there. It's a shame we're now looking for a new Italian.

We have been here several times and have always enjoyed it! satisfied. Apparently there are new owners (at least that's what I assume since I didn't see any of the old team), the prices have increased enormously and the portions have become significantly smaller. There's no question of service, no one seems to care if you have anything else to drink. That was different too. We've enjoyed being here up to this point, it's probably over. We'll then look around for a new Italian. Very very sad...

Food very good and freshly made. A clear selection, but a lot of traditionally made food that you can't get everywhere. Very nice people to serve and real Italians. Inside a very nice place to eat with Italian music and lots of pictures of the family. Prices are okay, a few things are a bit too expensive for the quantity, but just right for the taste, some dishes are exactly the right price. The only negative comment: outside you sit directly on the main street and inside it is a bit narrow.

Wir waren gestern zum ersten aber ganz sicher nicht zum letzten Mal dort! Kleines und wie bereits so richtig beschrieben Restaurant mit großem Wohlfühlcharakter. Reizender Service (Reservierung dringend angeraten)! Wir hatten Carpaccio/Vitello als Vorspeise und Gnocchi/Spaghetti als Hauptgericht. Beides ganz hervorragend zu absolut fairen Preisen.

Ich habe wieder einmal dort mit Freunden zu Abend gegessen. Es ist das dritte Mal, dass wir nicht sehr freundlich bedient wurden und das Essen nicht gut war. Ich hatte Vitello tonnato. Das Fleisch war nicht durchgebraten, sondern roh. Ich konnte es nicht schneiden, sondern musste es auseinander ziehen. Es hat überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Meine Freunde hatten auch teilweise rohe Zutaten auf dem Essen und auch ihr Essen war nicht gut. Da es jetzt das dritte Mal war, das wir unfreundlich bedient wurden, gehen wir auch nicht mehr dort hin und können es auch nicht weiter empfehlen.

Takeaway pizza only took two minutes (with an announcement!) and was delicious as always (I've been there five times and always great)! There are many pizzerias around the corner, in my opinion they have the best pizza here. And very nice owner. Eating on site is also very worthwhile!

Our regular restaurant for years. It's definitely the best Italian in Leverkusen and the surrounding area. Staff is like family. We feel very comfortable there.

Very unfriendly service. We were hardly noticed and people were talking very loudly, even though there were guests in the room. And that in the small room is very, very disturbing and disrespectful to the guest. NOT RECOMMENDED, THERE ARE BETTER RESTAURANTS WITH DEFINITELY FRIENDLER CONDITIONS AND MORE WARMTH

Es hat sich definitiv rumgesprochen, dass man hier phantastisch essen kann und natürlich sind mit sinkenden Temperaturen die Tische völlig zu Recht heiß begehrt. Meine Empfehlung lautet daher natürlich: rechtzeitig reservieren. Gianluca, seine liebenswerte Familie und Mitarbeiter sind ein eingespieltes Team und verwöhnen ihre Gäste mit absolut hochwertigen, leckeren und authentischen Gerichten wie in bella italia. Tut Euch selbst den Gefallen und teilt Euch bitte nicht zu zweit eine Pizza und schlürft an einer Cola rum - genießt die Vielseitigkeit und probiert stattdessen mal alles aus. Wir hatten Bruschetta und Carpaccio vorweg, anschließend gab es Pulpo mit Kürbispüree von der Tageskarte für mich und Gnocchi mit Birne, Walnüssen und Honig für meine Begleitung - fantastico! Ein Espresso und ein leckerer Kakao rundeten das schöne Essen ab. 😋 Hier kann man wirklich super lecker und frisch essen und hat ein kleines Stückchen Italien mitten in Leverkusen-Schlebusch. 🇮🇹 Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder und bedanken uns für den schönen und lustigsten Abend.

Antipasti misto par excellence. Nicht fertig, frisch, selbstgemacht! Pizza: Lecce! Ein Gedicht, Steinofen, steht in der Hand und saftig. Pasta mit Rinder Bolognese und Burrata.. Gnocchi mit frischer Tomatensoße und Burrata.. ein Gedicht.. wir gehen viel und oft sehr gut essen und wir haben lange nicht so gute Pasta gehabt, danke an Papa! Unterirdische Qualität und Preis/Leistung! Wir hatten to go mehrere Pizzen und auch Salate. Ich habe hier nicht genügend Worte, um unsere Meinung zu beschreiben. Wir hätten besser den Karton gegessen, aber die Pizzen waren nix. Überteuert und lieblos zusammen geprügelt, genau wie die Salate. Nie wieder! Schade um das viele Geld!

Alle Freunde und Bekannte, mit denen wir dort waren, teilen unsere Begeisterung und sind dort auch regelmäßig anzutreffen. Gutes Essen und tolle Bedienung dieses "familienunternehmens"! Beschert uns immer wieder "Glanz auf's Auge"!!!❤ Der sehr persönliche Umgang und die ausführliche Beratung sowie die köstlichen Gerichte tragen dazu bei, dass wir uns jedes Mal auf den Besuch freuen!!
