Il Fornaccio in Leverkusen

I had a very unpleasant experience here today. First, I had to wait to place my order, then I was told they didn't accept card payments, and in the end, the waiter charged me 3 euros more, apparently confused. Very rude and unprofessional. It's a shame, because the food is okay.

The pizza is absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, it's only available for takeout, as it's always packed and they only have high chairs/bar stools, which aren't suitable for me. However, I pick up the pizzas there with a companion (and I drive there in my car). Parking spaces are usually full. But the pizza is worth the effort!

Whether pizza, pasta, or salads, it's simply amazing. The service is outstanding, friendly, and guests are always greeted with a smile. The pizza chef knows his craft; everything is fresh and prepared to perfection. Highly recommended. A perfect slice of Sicily. The ambiance is top-notch.

We were lucky to find a spot even without a reservation on a Thursday(!). The food is delicious, and the chef and staff are very friendly.

Simply soooo delicious! The pizza is nice and thin and crispy, the ingredients are fresh and delicious. The best pizza I've had in a long time, and I'll definitely be back. The chili and garlic oil is also top-notch. The ambiance is a bit small, but you can see the amazing pizza oven.

A very small, lovely restaurant with a bar-like atmosphere and bar stools at high tables. Due to its size, it's best to make a reservation. The brick oven is prominent, and the aroma of freshly baked pizza fills the room. They serve delicious pizza with a thin, crispy crust and all sorts of unusual toppings. Pasta and fish are also available. The service is attentive and friendly. Since many takeaway orders are also available, expect to wait a bit. The value is good. We'll be happy to come back!

Very tasty food with friendly service, although it takes a bit of time due to the rush of customers. The place is very small, but nicely decorated. The high tables take some getting used to and aren't suitable for everyone. But I'll definitely be back 🙃 After eating delicious food there a few times, I can now confirm my rating again and again. The service is exceptionally friendly and attentive – you immediately feel welcome. The pizzas are a real treat: crispy bases, fresh ingredients, and perfectly seasoned. I was particularly impressed by the excellent quality of the meat – juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Everything is just right here!

Welcome! We just wanted to have a quick drink and were greeted very friendly. We treated ourselves to a small dessert (chocolate soufflé with a liquid center and delicious ice cream) - heavenly. Unfortunately you can only pay in cash, but we'll be happy to come back.

The food is really very very tasty. The staff is super friendly. However, you have to wait a long time until you can pay/or you go forward yourself. But you have to expect a queue. (delivery service) The prices are reasonable, but I was a bit surprised by the bill at the end. The prices were a little higher than on the menu. Nevertheless, I would visit this restaurant again because it simply tastes good. 😋👍

Lieber Pizzaiollo, ihr scheint ja wirklich keine neuen alten Kunden zu gebrauchen. Wenn man in ihrer neuen Location reinkommt und länger als fünf Minuten einfach nicht als potentiellen Kunden ernstgenommen werden, bleibt nur eins … Die Einrichtung zu verlassen mit dem Versprechen nie wieder diese zu betreten. Es war ein unschönes Gefühl,aber auch ein einmaliges. Wo ist die fröhliche italienische Gastfreundschaft geblieben

If you like very thin pizza with a crispy edge, this is the place for you. Although the pizza is thin, it is not soggy. However, there are only hard wooden high chairs to sit on. This doesn't invite you to linger and gave us back pain.

One of the best pizzas I've eaten. Super-duper. Staff really nice. We're looking forward to going back next week. Reservation of a table is absolutely recommended. The only drawback, but really only a tiny one: you can't pay by card. Absolutely recommended!

Ate pasta and pizza from Il Fornaccio for the second time on the recommendation of a friend. A huge pizza oven characterizes this restaurant. The few tables are mostly occupied or reserved. It should be noted that there are only high tables and chairs here. The pizza dough is a bit too salty for my standards, but that's just my personal opinion. I can only recommend spaghetti allo scoglio and paccheri with salsiccia and truffles. The service is friendly. A larger selection of wines or better knowledge of the staff would be desirable. My conclusion: I will come back. The price-performance ratio is right.

It's small and a bit cramped but the quality is, as always, outstanding!

Yesterday we spontaneously went out to eat for the first time since the pizzeria moved and even managed to get a free table. The ambience was great and Vitell Tonnato and the pizzas tasted delicious as always. Despite the hustle and bustle, the service lady was consistently friendly, quick and attentive. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. A small side note: it would be good if you could also pay your bill by card.

Unfortunately I have to give the store a bad review.. The food is OK, I would have done better as an ambitious weekend cook. The lady is unfriendly and incompetent in one person. The store has a nice location, but I have to repeat that the staff is underground. I hope and vow to get better but I won't be coming back.

Even better after moving to Müllheimer Straße 60! We particularly liked the lasagna and the calzone, but the pizzas are also really first class. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere in the restaurant is unique. We always enjoy going there.

Really good food and our waitress was really nice! They have a very big variety of pizza and pastas. We orders pizza Vegeratia and pasta with a crust on top. Definitely will come back!! *The only reason why I give them 4 stars is because they only accept cash*

The shop seems to be so popular that it can't offer guests a table or pizza to take away. Doesn't work at all. No matter how great the store may be, if I can't test it out, it's no use to me. First and last time!

Pizzas here are delicious. I haven't tried the pastas yet though. Friendly staff, fast service although it might be tricky to find a parking, depending on when you visit. It is a shame the place is small for large groups but you can always order ahead for pick ups. Also, remember to bring cash because you can't pay with card.

Beste Pizza weit und breit :-) Dünner, knuspriger Boden, aus dem Steinofengrill. Auch besondere Belagkombinationen möglich, immer mit qualitativ hochwertige Zutaten. Immer wieder lecker!

Süße, kleine Pizzeria mit vielen Pizzavariationen. Sehr lecker und alles frisch. Sehr nette Bedienung und faire Preise. Drinnen gibt es nur wenige Sitzplätze, besser reservieren oder einfach direkt zum mitnehmen machen lassen. Selbst bei vollem Haus geht alles sehr schnell.

Ich habe selten so außergewöhnlich leckeres und innovatives italienisches Essen gehabt im freundlichen Ambiente mit angenehmen Service. Grazie!

Beste Pizza in Leverkusen aber die Betreiber und der Service da sind eine absolute Katastrophe! Unfreundlich, nicht entgegenkommend und vollkommen abgehoben. Ambiente ist halt gewöhnungsbedürftig, mit nem Hexenhäuschen vorm Friedhof und 10 Stehplätzen.

Beste Pizzeria in ganz Leverkusen! Leider ein sehr kleines Lokal, aber dies ist kein Minuspunkt, da die Gerichte auch bei der Mitnahme super schmecken! Qualität ist immer gleich bleibend und verschlechtert sich nicht, so wie bei anderen die sich einen guten Namen aufbauen, und dann am Geschmack abbauen. Weiter so 👏🏽

Uriges Ambiente - und die Pizza ist Weltklasse. Trotz später Anfrage noch einen Platz bekommen und lecker gegessen und getrunken - der Chef macht es möglich. Wir kommen wieder!

Es ist wirklich eine kleine, sehr kleine Pizzaria! In normalen Zeiten (vor Covit) sind die Sitzplätze arg beschränkt. Die Pizza kann man sich belegen lassen, wie man möchte. Danach kommt sie in einen mit Holz gefeuerten Ofen. Dass die dann nicht so rauskommt, wie bei den Ketten, müsste bei echter Handarbeit wohl jedem klar sein! Wer schon einmal in Italien in einer kleinen Trattoria war, wird sich hier wieder finden! Für uns die beste Pizza und ein klasse Tomatensalat!

Eigentlich haben wir bisher gute Erfahrungen mit diesem Laden gemacht. Heute wurde, nachdem der Herr am Telefon sehr genervt feststellte, dass diverse Zutaten für die gewünschte Pizza nicht mehr vorrätig sind, mit den Worten „Ich muss Pizza machen, Seniora.“ der Hörer einfach „daneben gelegt“ und nicht mehr weiter gesprochen. Nach einigen Minuten habe ich dann aufgelegt. Ich verstehe, dass es nervig ist, das Telefon zu beantworten, wenn es voll ist oder viel zu tun ist. Aber das geht wirklich gar nicht. Schade, wir sind eigentlich gerne zu euch gekommen.
