Very good service and delicious food

Small, fine Italian restaurant, everything is great, the 4 stars overall are only because I unfortunately couldn't get enough of the pasta, the pizzas are great, also the size, but I was craving fresh pasta Agnolotti Ai Porcini that day, in terms of taste Excellent, unfortunately a bit low for me, despite the starter🫣otherwise a top restaurant👌🏻

Das Da Aldo liegt ein wenig ab vom Schlag, ist aber allemal einen Besuch wert! Geboten wird eine gute und authentische, italienische Küche, die neben der regulären Karte immer eine Tageskarte im Angebot hat. Ein Blick in die eigentlich immer offene Küche zeigt ein stets sauber gepflegtes Arbeitsumfeld - es gibt für ein Restaurant keine bessere Visitenkarte. Leider gibt es doch einige Wermutstropfen. Der Gastraum könnte etwas wärmer und freundlicher gestaltet sein. Wenn der Gastraum ausgelastet ist, wird es schnell zu laut. Die Bedienung wirkt dann schnell etwas überfordert und alles, wirklich alles, dauert einfach zu lang. Häufiger haben wir selbst auf die Rechnung gefühlte Ewigkeiten warten müssen. Für diesen Umstand ziehe ich einen Stern ab. Die Parkplatzsituation ist geradezu luxoriös, denn direkt neben dem Restaurant lieght ein großer Parkplatz.

Very nice restaurant. The shop is very pretty both inside and outside. Unfortunately the lovely evening was overshadowed by the very unfriendly waitress. It's a shame for the restaurant, because otherwise it's quite chic. But not worth visiting again if the service isn't right. P.s.: My companion also found the waitress extremely unfriendly.

People who rate this restaurant with 1.2 stars and bad are not clear in their heads!! People...you are destroying an existence that these people have created with hard work and are always working to keep their guests happy!!! Stop always seeing the NEGATIEVE and immediately making everything bad.

Reservation by telephone worked well. Wheelchair driver and dog with us, none of that was an issue. But when we were all there, we pointed out that we were pressed for time. We were promised the dishes would be ready on time. Unfortunately, both the "beverage department" and the kitchen took far too long and the promised time was not kept. The end of the story was that we had paid and had the food packed for us.

This was the most disgusting food I have ever eaten, you couldn't eat it. He charged 3 pizzas, 2 salads and rolls for €71. I would have been better off wiping my butt with them. Absolutely disgusting. You can save yourself the order!!!!!! I don't want to give a star but the post doesn't work without a star.

Pizza no, pasta yes. I ordered a BBQ Pollo Pizza. Pizza was completely watery and partly inedible. My wife ordered pasta with truffle cream sauce. They were really great. Ambience is quite okay. Service was top.

We were here with friends and unfortunately we weren't all that impressed. For me the pizza was a better “takeaway” pizza at a restaurant. Everyone left the edge behind and otherwise the pizza was rather dry. Sometimes quite hard/airy and baked in the tin, which is rather untypical for a real Italian pizzeria. Unfortunately, not all pizzas use mozzarella. The carbonara was with pancetta, but unfortunately I looked in vain for the creamy emulsion of egg yolk and parmesan and despite the cream sauce as it says on the menu, it was somehow not saucey. Some of the egg was also curdled and perhaps the whole egg was used, not just the yolk, or so it seemed to me. I was actually looking forward to a bruschetta but unfortunately there was only tomato sauce as a starter. The service did its best and was friendly, but there was just too much going on for one person, which meant there were longer waiting times, including when eating. The boss was also really friendly and had his hands full. The ambience is really very nice and inviting.

We always come back and really enjoy it.

I live nearby and eat at Gallo Nero quite often. The combination of really good Italian cuisine with a solid basic menu and changing monthly menu as well as a very personal approach from the family that runs the kitchen and service is exactly my understanding of a regular restaurant that makes you feel good. The interior of the Gallo Nero is very attractively furnished - although a few measures to contain the sound would be helpful. Maybe some acoustic panels on the ceiling or heavy curtain fabric would help. In summer it is pleasant to be able to sit outside in the backyard. However, some design work is still needed to make the area comfortable. All in all, I'm very happy to have such a good Italian restaurant just around the corner!
