Very good service and delicious food

I visit this restaurant with my wife again and again. I already know the owner from my days in Hattingen, where we enjoyed being guests back then. As an addition to the excellent food, there is a singing performance by the owner. The owner himself sings to the atmospheric music. We feel absolutely in a good mood, something like that rarely comes across.

The best Italian cuisine in Bochum, by far!!!!

The seafood pizza was very tasty—delicious dough; we were pleasantly surprised by the dough; the price/performance ratio was excellent. Less pleasant was the Turkish music and an employee who was forming dough balls—while carrying a crate of fresh dough balls over, a crate tipped over, causing two or three dough balls to fall to the floor. They weren't thrown away, but reshaped and put back in the crate 😫...that's just not right ❗️

We happened to be in this restaurant today after viewing an apartment. We can give a clear recommendation. The food was terrific and didn't take long to arrive. The staff very friendly and polite. Every now and then they would ask whether everything is OK and how the food tastes. Seldom experienced such good service. We felt very comfortable all around and will definitely come back again when we are in Bochum.

Now you can order somewhere else 🤢🤮 because you can't APPRECIATE quality and neatness and everything that goes with a perfect restaurant 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!! People who rate this restaurant with 1.2 stars and bad are not clear in their heads!! People...you are destroying an existence that these people have created with hard work and are always working to keep their guests happy!!! Stop always seeing the NEGATIEVE and immediately making everything bad.

We were there with colleagues and had a great evening. A greeting from the kitchen got things started. There was also a vegetarian option. We then had a super tasty anti-pasti platter as a starter. The pizza is great at 32cm. I had the fettuccini con tonno and was very impressed. Large portion and super tasty. The staff were super accommodating and we felt very comfortable. We would go back anytime!

Nice service but the food is getting worse and worse

Centrally located, parking situation is rather medium, large menu, delicious food, friendly and quick service, tastes very tasty, will definitely come back.

An extremely pleasant visit to an old-school Italian restaurant in the center of the Kirchviertel in Wiemelhausen! After the renovation and modernization, the most important thing remained: an extremely courteous host and a menu that was tailored precisely to our needs. Highly recommended, we will come back to try out other dishes!

This was our second time at Gallo Nero and we were not disappointed. Authentic Italian cuisine, pasta al dente, excellent carpaccio, good prices and attentive, friendly service.
