Pleasant atmosphere, but that's about it. Food salty and very fatty. Pizza tastes just a little bit better than when you make it at home. It's ok but I expect a lot more for the price. The waitress obviously didn't want to do her job and seemed very artificial. No laughter, no positivity. Couldn't remember 3 things. Some drinks that were ordered did not arrive. Overall, the restaurant was ok, but definitely not justified for the price. I'm definitely not coming back.

We were there with colleagues and had a great evening. A greeting from the kitchen started things off. There was also a vegetarian version. We then had a delicious anti-pasti platter as a starter. The pizza is great at 32cm. I had the Fettuccinie con Tonno and was very impressed. Large portion and super tasty. The staff was super accommodating and we felt very comfortable. Any time!

This restaurant is only suitable if you want to eat like gods on Mount Olympus.

Went there for the first time yesterday. From the outside the place didn't look very inviting; Curtains drawn, no light; you would have to shake the door to know if the place was open. At least there was still room. Ordered three pizzas and a pasta dish. The first impression of the card: everything is very expensive! Simple pizzas or pasta started at around €15 to over €20. I'm happy to pay more for good quality or a nice ambience. But the spinach-gorgonzola pizza was very dry, almost biscuit-like; You had to look for spinach, Gorgonzola was only available in rudimentary form; Overall, the toppings (including tomato sauce and cheese) were very sparse - the base looked more like a ready-made pizza. Really unimaginative, really bad! and then really expensive! The other pizzas didn't look any better either. The pasta was at least edible, if a bit too soft and too much cream, the portion was manageable and overpriced! The waiting time was also considerable! Guaranteed never again!

The food is excellent. The fresh Italian dishes are of the highest quality in terms of taste and quality. However, you have to bring some time with you because it takes just-in-time preparation. Our absolute tip for cozy evenings and celebrations. But be sure to reserve! Today, our 2nd visit, we were told in a really rude manner that there was no room without a reservation... that could definitely be solved in a more charming way 🙄😅

Spontaneously or reserve a table one hour in advance. We received a very warm welcome, were able to choose between several tables and received the tickets immediately. The menu contains a nice selection of different antispasti and pasta dishes, there is an extra pizza menu and there is also something for vegetarians. There is also an extra wine list, unfortunately we were there by car. All food is freshly prepared in the visible kitchen, so it may take longer if it's full (and it was), but the wait is worth it and the prices are justified. :-) It was very tasty and also plentiful. The service was very friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was disappointing. The main reason for this was clearly the service - especially the behavior of the boss. Her manner towards her own employees was unfriendly and this was also reflected in the treatment of the guests. Welcoming and hospitable is different. The ambience of the restaurant was okay, but the noise level was extremely high. It was so loud that it was almost impossible to have a normal conversation at the table, which significantly detracted from the entire experience. A greeting from the kitchen in the form of bruschetta was served, which is actually a nice touch. However, we originally ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer. The fact that we were not informed of this resulted in us canceling the starter. Unfortunately, the boss reacted very snippy and unprofessionally. The food itself was delicious, I would like to emphasize that. Nevertheless, the surroundings had a negative impact on the overall impression. What was particularly annoying was that we were only informed when we specifically asked that there would be longer waiting times that evening. This information should have been communicated to guests when they entered the restaurant. All in all, there is no reason for me to visit this restaurant again. The food may be good, but service and atmosphere are at least as important - and unfortunately the restaurant was unable to impress on these points.

At Pasta Viva la Mamma there is a wide selection on the menu. The prices are rather high – e.g. B. 16 € for a pizza salami - but the taste of the food was good. Unfortunately a typical German assessment, but after an hour and a half of waiting, a child nagging because of hunger and a “greeting from the kitchen” that didn’t come even when we asked, we decided to go home hungry. Absolut Empfehlenswert Wir hatten ganz spontan einen super schönen Wochenend- Ausklang. Egal ob der Gruß aus der Küche, Pasta, Pizza, Salat, Lachs und Rotwein- alles war nahezu perfekt. Auch das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Unsere beiden kleinen Jungs haben ihre Pizza direkt bekommen. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist super. Die Portionen groß.

Food tastes good, but pasta dishes for 20 euros are a bit cheeky! The prices on the menu on the homepage are incorrect. Unfortunately, we fell for it and had to pay 3 euros more for each dish than we previously thought. Because of the prices we won't be coming back! Other restaurants offer the same quality at much cheaper prices.

Reservation by telephone worked well. Wheelchair driver and dog with us, none of that was an issue. But when we were all there, we pointed out that we were pressed for time. We were promised the dishes would be ready on time. Unfortunately, both the "beverage department" and the kitchen took far too long and the promised time was not kept. The end of the story was that we had paid and had the food packed for us.

Without a reservation, four of us got a great seat after a short wait. Great service as well as delicious food and service.

The salad was excellent, but unfortunately the wild herbs were no longer in stock, so I had to choose an alternative, very good dressing, my partner had a pizza with rocket, unfortunately the chef thought it was a bit too good, you only saw rocket and nothing more of the Pizza. Tasty, authentic and most of all High quality food. If you order a Pizza Tonno you don't get the classic can of tuna but real tuna steak cubes. The roast beef is super tender and always recommended. All waiters are very friendly, flexible and accommodating. Special requests are no problem and are implemented very well! A delicious wine with your meal and you can enjoy the evening and escape from everyday life for a while.

Unfortunately, our first visit to this restaurant was anything but satisfactory. First of all, we had to wait a full 80 minutes for our two pasta dishes, which is unacceptable for a restaurant in this price range. The service also left a lot to be desired. The waitress was inattentive and didn't seem to remember anything. What was particularly annoying was that the spoon was placed directly in the dish on the plate, so that the dirt was only noticed in the mouth. When we asked for a clean spoon we didn't receive a new one. The portions of the pasta were far too small for the price of €21.90 per dish. The food itself was very tasty, and the greeting from the kitchen in advance was also nice and tasty, but that alone is not enough to make us want to visit again. The location is right on the main street and was therefore very loud. In addition, the chairs were uncomfortable and had no cushions. The table and chairs were uneven, so you sat a bit crooked. We wouldn't visit this restaurant again.

Before you couldn't get a table, now almost everything is free. I've seen several people leave because of the prices. The food tastes quite good but nothing more.

If you cut these ingredients into small cubes and then sweat them too much, the quality suffers - the result is then too dry. A little tip: a little Cut more generously and prepare medium/glassy and add a little more. Price-performance ratio was not satisfactory for me. The greeting from the kitchen is a nice plus, unfortunately the bruschetta had too much salt. The service (big compliment) was very nice, courteous and professional. I think we were asked at least 8 times if we wanted something to drink and had to answer no 8 times because the drinks, which cost a fortune, are not affordable when you're paying €25 for a plate of pasta. My boyfriend and I have been regular customers for years. It is and remains simply the best pasta and pizza in the Bochum/Herne area. The coffee is also delicious here. My favorite dish is Linguine Di Mamma! 🤎All ingredients are fresh and super tasty. I'm happy to pay the price for that. The new waitress is also very attentive and does her best with a friendly smile. So if you want to eat something delicious and just feel good, absolutely recommended!!

Fine food and for the most part friendly service. I thought it was a shame that there was no wine service, neither for Prosecco nor for wine. Bottles placed on the table and ready. Wir waren zu dritt und haben das sonnige Wetter genossen und das Essen mit einem ausgezeichneten Aperol Spritz begonnen. Der Gruß aus der Küche, Bruschetta mit rohem Schinken, war als Appetitanreger ein leckerer Auftakt. Dann haben wir Linguine ai Porcini mit Streifen vom Rumpsteak und getrockneten Tomaten in Steinpilzrahm mit einem Hauch von Parmesan, Fettuccine mit Champignons, getrockneten Tomaten, Knoblauch und frischem Thunfisch in einer Mascarpone-Cremesauce und eine Lasagne Tradizionali gegessen. Alles geschmacklich top und sehr gut portioniert. Dazu ein freundlicher Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder👋

Ich kenne das Restaurant als Presselounge während Bochum Total. Heute dann endlich auch mal „privat“ dort gegessen. Was soll ich sagen? Superlecker! Aber hatte ich auch nicht anders erwartet! Aufmerksamer Service, entspanntes Ambiente. Ich hatte Bruschetta und Schinken zuvor, dann eine Lachs-Spinat-Lasagne. Und weil alles Mega lecker war, gönnte ich mir noch ein Tiramisu. Hätte man auch drei essen können, so yummy war es 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Ich war schon mehrfach dort essen und was soll ich sagen: es gibt dort die beste Pasta Bochums! Ich habe mich schon quer durch die Karte probiert und jedes Nudelgericht war erste Klasse! Der Service ist manchmal etwas holprig, da die neuen Kollegen nicht immer den Überblick haben, aber jeder fängt mal klein an.

War gestern das erste mal im "PASTA viva la mamma" - Essen war ausgezeichnet, ich hatte als kleine Vorspeise vegetarisches Bruschetta, als Hauptgang Fettuccine al Gorgonzola con Filetto di Manzo. Beides war sehr lecker. Zum "Nachtisch" gab es leider nur einen Cappuccino, leider weil ich gerne auch ein richtiges Dessert bestellt hätte, was aufgrund des - zumindest an diesem Abend - langsamen und nicht immer aufmerksamen Service leider nicht möglich war sodass ich ohne Dessert im Magen leider gehen musste. Ein weiteres bestelltes Getränk wurde vergessen, daher die Abzüge im Service. Das Ambiente ist eigentlich ganz gemütlich eingerichtet, war alles aber relativ eng gestellt, vermutlich um den Besucherandrang gerecht zu werden - alles verständlich, aber da der Service, wie oben erwähnt, nicht hinterher kam, könnte man das vielleicht noch optimieren, was sich letztendlich in einem angenehmeren Ambiente und damit vielleicht auch noch zufriedeneren Kunden widerspiegeln würde. Ich war bestimmt nicht das letzte mal hier, vielleicht klappt es das nächste mal auch besser mit dem Service, dann wird natürlich die Rezension angepasst.

Wir haben uns spontan für dieses Lokal entschieden, und waren von der Qualität, sowohl der Speisen, als auch den Getränken mehr als angenehm überrascht. Würden wir in der Nähe wohnen, kämen wir sicherlich regelmäßig hierher. Weiter so....viva la mamma!!

Super Pasta, guter Rotwein, alles in allem eine gute Restaurant Wahl.

Wir gehen sehr gerne ins Viva La Mamma… das Personal ist stets freundlich, es ist sauber und das Essen immer lecker. Wenn man danach sucht, dann gibt es natürlich immer etwas auszusetzen, doch in unserem Fall sind es Zustände, für die die Betreiber nichts können. Weshalb ich gerne 5 Sterne gebe und mich weiterhin auf das Essen im Viva La Mamma freuen werde! 👍🏻
