L'Osteria Bochum in Bochum

Unfortunately, L'Osteria disappointed me very much. The pizza was large, but tasted below average and at a fairly high price. The second dish 'pasta with prawns and vegetables' was bland. The ambience wasn't very nice either, but it was louder (Saturday at 5:30 p.m.). We had reserved, but there were waiting guests everywhere. And the service forgot the orders and requests more than once. Sorry, but you won't be seeing me here again any time soon.

Delicious large pizza, but a bit sparsely topped. We were lucky enough to sit by the window in the winter garden, where it wasn't quite as loud. Service absolutely great.

We go to L'Osteria very often, especially in the Ruhrpark. Sometimes as a couple, sometimes with the whole family, with friends and sometimes with a larger group. This time we were there for the annual “Christmas” get-together with friends. We love the ambience, the hustle and bustle and the smell when we arrive. The food, drinks and service were, as usual, perfect.

We were very satisfied with the food. The service was very friendly. However, we had to wait quite a long time for the bill. Personally, I found it very loud and hectic. The music is simply too loud to have a proper conversation. So we didn't feel like lingering and left straight after eating.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our visit to L’Osteria. The food came way too late and the staff seemed extremely disorganized. We had to wait over an hour for two pizzas, which is absolutely unacceptable. Additionally, the salad we received was not what we ordered. Overall the experience was very unsatisfactory. We hope the service improves in the future because this way we probably won't come back.

I recommend Insalata Campagnola. The only thing I order there because it's so good! A dream!

After shopping in the former Ruhrpark, it's always worth eating at L'0steria. There is always a free place.

Great food, great service, unfortunately the organization in the kitchen was a bit chaotic, there is no other explanation for the fact that people who came after us got their food before us.

A beautifully decorated Italian restaurant with a simple but varied menu offering antipasti, pasta, pizza and delicious salads at fair prices. The pizza in particular is excellent, and the highlight: you can have it cut in half with different toppings. Although the store was full, we only had a short wait, and our reserved spot at the edge with a comfortable couch seat was really very pleasant. The service was quick, friendly and very competent.

Super nice service, very tasty food

Were 2 people for lunch. Food was ok. Ordered for 1xpizza and 1xpasta - food arrived after about 60-65 minutes, even though the shop was not overcrowded. When we asked politely about the food after 45 minutes, we were advised that next time we should order the same thing twice, then it would supposedly be a little quicker.😂 PS: I can only recommend the shop if everyone wants to eat the same thing, otherwise wait half a day and have a full stomach.

Unfortunately our visit was a failure. At the beginning we received dirty dishes and had to wait a long time for each individual order. When the other guests around us (there were significantly more people at one table + arrived later) were served sooner, we continued to wait patiently. After 40 minutes we asked how long it would take, to which we received a clumsy answer that it would be because we ordered a pizza and pasta and this combination would take longer. Strangely, this type of order wasn't a problem at the other tables next door. Not recommended, we certainly won't come again.

Absolute disgrace for the Italian kitchen. Low to none quality. Even the kids don’t eat their pizza. The pizza’s are big because on quality they can’t impress you.

Absolute impudence. The cola came without carbonation and not enough syrup. The beer tasted like it had been sitting at the bar for two hours. The waiter said yes, the problem has been known for a long time. Knowingly selling shit to customers without making the customer aware of it. Glasses dirty. The pizza finally arrived after an hour of waiting and was barely baked so the dough was still raw. Dirty glasses are probably normal for this chain. That was definitely the last time. If you order drinks there you should definitely take drinks from the bottle and without a glass.

Hey. I had dinner there yesterday with friends and my husband and unfortunately it was disastrous. The drinks only tasted like water and the glasses were really dirty. The dirty dishes were not put away, so the table was full. The pizza was still raw and after we said so, we got a burnt one back. Won't be coming back!!!!

It's no longer possible, the worst pizza I've ever eaten. Not enough tomato sauce, you have to look for the topping with a magnifying glass. For the price of 16.50, it's unbelievable. We were there last time. Service was very friendly, they can't do anything about it...they just have to put up with it. What comes out of the kitchen.

Nov 2023 Unfortunately there was very little topping on the unnecessarily oversized pizza (it used to be better) uncomfortable due to the seating being too narrow and the noise level being too high! Update December 2024 gave the restaurant another chance, now we will NEVER enter the store AGAIN: pizza again extremely little toppings, base partly black and far dry - JUST HORRIBLE The price for this borders on fraud!

We were there for dinner as a family. The restaurant was very busy, but service was still very quick. Very attentive, friendly waiter who does his job perfectly! The special requests for our son were implemented without any problems. After the meal, coffee and dessert were offered, as it should be. And both were served at the same time, which is not the case everywhere. Since the crayons the children were given were all painted, our waiter even picked out new ones. Every guest is taken seriously here! Pizza and pasta tasted very good, only the tiramisu was a bit too runny, therefore not 5 stars. We'd love to come back!

Nice atmosphere and the food also corresponded to the L'Osteria standard. Unfortunately, the service was once again subpar. It took 20 minutes before a service employee even noticed us and even though we informed a colleague that we would like the bill, we then paid at the exit. Despite the great location, L'Osteria Bochum really isn't recommended.

I have had lunch and dinner in your restaurant very often. Really delicious. And your very good unique selling point so far for me is your unique child-friendliness. You always have good pasta and pizza suggestions for the kids. And it's a pleasure every time. What is perhaps missing is a small indoor play area for children to play in the winter after shopping and a delicious meal. Maybe possible above. And an Italian breakfast option would definitely attract some people, but maybe that already exists and I'm not aware of it. Keep it up and warm greetings from our small family. Very nice place, suitable for a small dinner with friends and family or a more formal evening. Always clean, toilets are tidy. Very nice staff, they are even willing to take a couple of photos for you;) The menu is excellent, I would gladly recommend Nduja Calabrese to lovers of spicy pizza. Just make sure to reserve a table, otherwise you might end up waiting for half an hour.

L'Osteria Bochum is located at Ruhrpark (Westfield since September 2024) directly on the A 40 motorway and is therefore easy to reach. The friendly staff is attentive and accommodating. If you like real Italian pizza, this is the place for you: fresh ingredients, thin dough, large pizza with flavor. The two of us shared the Casa salad with house dressing and fresh slices of bread as a starter. Highly recommended. The prices are fair.

You were ignored, the food was delivered incorrectly, you waited forever for service. We have sometimes waited 30 minutes for the drink we ordered (especially in Langenfeld). Sometimes the food came quicker than the drinks. All of this was STILL with you!!. Service was quick, the waiters were really nice and friendly. Food perfect. The garlic oil we ordered came super quickly... we're glad we gave this chain another chance.

Tipping fraud among seniors!!! My old parents went there for pizza. Food & service were good. My father, 84 years old, paid by card. The display on the card reader was not readable and the waiter only announced the price of the food. Later he brought the receipt, which showed a tip of €4.57!!! Outstanding audacity, he still has it before that Receive a €3 tip in cash. At least now it wasn't a mistake.

The food was totally fine and the service was very nice, but when I told her that there was so little liquid in the espresso that you couldn't even wet your tongue with it, the official answer was: yes, that's always the case. We have no influence on that. It's always like that. Firstly, I thought that was very poorly worded and secondly, somehow not suitable for an Italian shop. In order to avoid empty cups, there will no longer be espresso in the Losteria in the future.

Considering the location in a shopping center/mall, the quality here is surprisingly high. We particularly liked the menu for the children with nice variations on spaghetti and fries. Furthermore, the idea of ​​having a pizza with two different types (half each) is a fantastic way to test several types. Very nicely decorated Italian restaurant, there were 10 people there. Fine, not too large menu with antipasti, pasta, pizza and great salads at reasonable prices. Pizza 🍕 very tasty....which is really great, you have the option to have pizza halves topped, for example half tonno half salami.

Great team here at Losteria. The food tastes great. Reservations definitely need to be made on weekends. Good organization even when the store is 100% full. Unfortunately, the staff in the washrooms are not available on weekends. But unfortunately that also gives a deep insight into how some people (customers) deal with washrooms...

Unfortunately, the condition of the toilets casts a negative light on the general hygienic situation in the Losteria. I'm writing this review with the hope that something will change in terms of hygiene in the toilets. Unfortunately, nothing has changed so far after direct contact.

We were eating here today, or wanted to... the reception was nice and orderly, a short wait until a table was free was fine, in the meantime we were able to look at the menu and knew what we were ordering. Then go to the table and place drinks, starters and 1 pizza and 1 pasta straight away, so it wasn't a big order, it wasn't particularly full either, we had already been there several times, so we knew it was a bit slow here. (e.g. Losteria Hagen, here I receive my order with 4 people within 20 minutes if the store is full (4 pizzas). After 45 minutes of waiting, I just wanted to pay and leave. After I asked for the bill, the food was brought to me 5 minutes later, but I let it go back. How can it be that they talk to me again about what I had and then make me wait another 10 minutes. But what I particularly didn't care about is that new guests come in and then have their food within 15 minutes, that's not possible. And pasta doesn't take 50 minutes... that's why they tell us Maybe point out when ordering that it takes longer today if you order a starter and noodles -> sarcasm out. I will avoid the one in Bochum and can't recommend it.
