L'Osteria Bochum in Bochum

This was our first visit and thanks to reservations we had a table. It was an overall nice stay with delicious food

We were amazed by the service, food and variety. Tipping suggestion for EC card payments on the device starts at 10% and increases. Individual tipping can be better controlled personally.

The food was delicious, but if five of us go to dinner and we don't get our order at the same time (I'm not talking about just a few minutes), it's a no-go in my opinion. So three out of five were able to enjoy the pizza cold. Too bad. The service was very friendly but overall everyone seemed overwhelmed.

We had a lovely evening with the family

Store completely overcrowded. You are asked to wait at the bar until tables are free, but there is no service there, so you have sat at a bar for 40 minutes with a dry mouth and whining children without being noticed. After 40 minutes at the bar we got the table, the drinks and also the food was taken, after 20 minutes the drinks arrived and another 35 minutes later finally the pizza we had been longing for! You absolutely can't complain about the quality of the food! As always, the pizza was delicious, but the service and the waiting time were starting to leave a lot to be desired... It's a shame actually.

Very nice people and great food

If you like being pushed into the last corner when assigning a table, even though there are enough other seats available, then you've come to the right place. Drive to Bochum city center and the branch is a lot more attentive

On the way through we stopped at the Ruhrpark shop and had dinner here. The restaurant was busy, but we didn't have to wait too long for our food. We were all full and were thrilled.

Food was tasty and enough. Only the children's portions were a bit small so that the children had to eat something from their parents.

Ardil was an outstanding waiter! Friendly, attentive and very professional – we felt completely at home. Thank you for the great service, we'll be happy to come back!

the pizza is world class. I think the service staff are generally first class. Always friendly, always in a good mood, always trying to satisfy everyone's needs. Even the big dog always finds a nice place. Silvia, our favorite waitress, serves the dog first. We like that a lot. We always like to come back.

Zero stars, free choice of seats, you sit and wait, no one comes. After I let them know, no one came. Then an annoyed service person, although service can be canceled, said we weren't allowed to sit there even though we were stared at for 10 minutes and no one came. This is outrageous, stupid and anti-social.

Friendly staff, delicious food, fair prices will definitely come back.

Great atmosphere, fair prices and very tasty (spaghetti carbonara)

We were there on Friday evening with around 20 people. It was super crowded and loud but there was a good atmosphere and great - friendly and well-coordinated staff. The waiting time for drinks and food was minimal and the pizzas were great, the Zuddels were probably the only thing that wasn't as convincing as a colleague reported. But all in all it was a great end to our belated Christmas party and we were able to chat from 9 p.m. We'd love to come back.

I have been here many times and have always been very satisfied! Today we had gnocci from the special menu, which were really tasty. The employees are always friendly and attentive, and Nicole in particular is something that I and my friend remember very positively from the last visit. Great recommendation and always happy :)

You couldn't have a conversation, it was too loud. Pizzas are large, but very few toppings. Staff is very friendly. Pizza with tuna was also not as usual. A tuna cream was used. Toilets were very dirty. We won't eat there again.

Pizzas are large and the edges are perfectly thin and crispy. Unfortunately the pizza was already cold. The pasta with shrimp & sauce was good, but could have used a little more seasoning. Ambience good, could use some more coziness. Service quick and friendly

Unfortunately, L'Osteria disappointed me very much. The pizza was large, but tasted below average and at a fairly high price. The second dish 'pasta with prawns and vegetables' was bland. The ambience wasn't very nice either, but it was louder (Saturday at 5:30 p.m.). We had reserved, but there were waiting guests everywhere. And the service forgot the orders and requests more than once. Sorry, but you won't be seeing me here again any time soon.

Delicious large pizza, but a bit sparsely topped. We were lucky enough to sit by the window in the winter garden, where it wasn't quite as loud. Service absolutely great.

We go to L'Osteria very often, especially in the Ruhrpark. Sometimes as a couple, sometimes with the whole family, with friends and sometimes with a larger group. This time we were there for the annual “Christmas” get-together with friends. We love the ambience, the hustle and bustle and the smell when we arrive. The food, drinks and service were, as usual, perfect.

We were very satisfied with the food. The service was very friendly. However, we had to wait quite a long time for the bill. Personally, I found it very loud and hectic. The music is simply too loud to have a proper conversation. So we didn't feel like lingering and left straight after eating.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our visit to L’Osteria. The food came way too late and the staff seemed extremely disorganized. We had to wait over an hour for two pizzas, which is absolutely unacceptable. Additionally, the salad we received was not what we ordered. Overall the experience was very unsatisfactory. We hope the service improves in the future because this way we probably won't come back.

I recommend Insalata Campagnola. The only thing I order there because it's so good! A dream!

After shopping in the former Ruhrpark, it's always worth eating at L'0steria. There is always a free place.

Great food, great service, unfortunately the organization in the kitchen was a bit chaotic, there is no other explanation for the fact that people who came after us got their food before us.

Delicious (Huge) authentic Italian pizza and good cocktail and beer selection. Gladly again!

A beautifully decorated Italian restaurant with a simple but varied menu offering antipasti, pasta, pizza and delicious salads at fair prices. The pizza in particular is excellent, and the highlight: you can have it cut in half with different toppings. Although the store was full, we only had a short wait, and our reserved spot at the edge with a comfortable couch seat was really very pleasant. The service was quick, friendly and very competent.

All in all good. It took a little longer for the drinks and food to arrive, but otherwise everything was fine.

Were 2 people for lunch. Food was ok. Ordered for 1xpizza and 1xpasta - food arrived after about 60-65 minutes, even though the shop was not overcrowded. When we asked politely about the food after 45 minutes, we were advised that next time we should order the same thing twice, then it would supposedly be a little quicker.😂 PS: I can only recommend the shop if everyone wants to eat the same thing, otherwise wait half a day and have a full stomach.

On the Saturday before the 3rd ADVENT it was very crowded, surprisingly short waiting times, because we have never seen so many service staff in a L'Osteria. Compliments, it was perfect! Pizza great as always.

Coffee is great here .Hangout on a winter day to grab a cappuccino or latte here.The place is cozy and can have conversation with your friends.During summer ice cream is available

Unfortunately our visit was a failure. At the beginning we received dirty dishes and had to wait a long time for each individual order. When the other guests around us (there were significantly more people at one table + arrived later) were served sooner, we continued to wait patiently. After 40 minutes we asked how long it would take, to which we received a clumsy answer that it would be because we ordered a pizza and pasta and this combination would take longer. Strangely, this type of order wasn't a problem at the other tables next door. Not recommended, we certainly won't come again.

Absolute disgrace for the Italian kitchen. Low to none quality. Even the kids don’t eat their pizza. The pizza’s are big because on quality they can’t impress you.

Absolute impudence. The cola came without carbonation and not enough syrup. The beer tasted like it had been sitting at the bar for two hours. The waiter said yes, the problem has been known for a long time. Knowingly selling shit to customers without making the customer aware of it. Glasses dirty. The pizza finally arrived after an hour of waiting and was barely baked so the dough was still raw. Dirty glasses are probably normal for this chain. That was definitely the last time. If you order drinks there you should definitely take drinks from the bottle and without a glass.

Hey. I had dinner there yesterday with friends and my husband and unfortunately it was disastrous. The drinks only tasted like water and the glasses were really dirty. The dirty dishes were not put away, so the table was full. The pizza was still raw and after we said so, we got a burnt one back. Won't be coming back!!!!

Nice atmosphere and the food also corresponded to the L'Osteria standard. Unfortunately, the service was once again subpar. It took 20 minutes before a service employee even noticed us and even though we informed a colleague that we would like the bill, we then paid at the exit. Despite the great location, L'Osteria Bochum really isn't recommended.

It's no longer possible, the worst pizza I've ever eaten. Not enough tomato sauce, you have to look for the topping with a magnifying glass. For the price of 16.50, it's unbelievable. We were there last time. Service was very friendly, they can't do anything about it...they just have to put up with it. What comes out of the kitchen.

Nov 2023 Unfortunately there was very little topping on the unnecessarily oversized pizza (it used to be better) uncomfortable due to the seating being too narrow and the noise level being too high! Update December 2024 gave the restaurant another chance, now we will NEVER enter the store AGAIN: pizza again extremely little toppings, base partly black and far dry - JUST HORRIBLE The price for this borders on fraud!

We were there for dinner as a family. The restaurant was very busy, but service was still very quick. Very attentive, friendly waiter who does his job perfectly! The special requests for our son were implemented without any problems. After the meal, coffee and dessert were offered, as it should be. And both were served at the same time, which is not the case everywhere. Since the crayons the children were given were all painted, our waiter even picked out new ones. Every guest is taken seriously here! Pizza and pasta tasted very good, only the tiramisu was a bit too runny, therefore not 5 stars. We'd love to come back!

I have had lunch and dinner in your restaurant very often. Really delicious. And your very good unique selling point so far for me is your unique child-friendliness. You always have good pasta and pizza suggestions for the kids. And it's a pleasure every time. What is perhaps missing is a small indoor play area for children to play in the winter after shopping and a delicious meal. Maybe possible above. And an Italian breakfast option would definitely attract some people, but maybe that already exists and I'm not aware of it. Keep it up and warm greetings from our small family. We definitely come back to your beautiful restaurant. Thanks so much.

The dishes on offer are consistently delicious. The service is mostly good. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is always loud and too crowded.

Very nice place, suitable for a small dinner with friends and family or a more formal evening. Always clean, toilets are tidy. Very nice staff, they are even willing to take a couple of photos for you;) The menu is excellent, I would gladly recommend Nduja Calabrese to lovers of spicy pizza. Just make sure to reserve a table, otherwise you might end up waiting for half an hour.

L'Osteria Bochum is located at Ruhrpark (Westfield since September 2024) directly on the A 40 motorway and is therefore easy to reach. The friendly staff is attentive and accommodating. If you like real Italian pizza, this is the place for you: fresh ingredients, thin dough, large pizza with flavor. The two of us shared the Casa salad with house dressing and fresh slices of bread as a starter. Highly recommended. The prices are fair.

Instead, clear out a few runners or noise-absorbing plants or something similar. We found it to be much too loud. Uncomfortable to stay there longer, except to eat the pizza quickly. In addition, our place was dirty, there were some large, obvious leftovers of food under and next to the table. There were 7 of us there... The restaurant was very full and extremely well attended. Mass processing.... Right next to the shopping center....
