The location is very nice. You can comfortably stop here before or after an extensive shopping tour. The service has improved over time. You are noticed more and asked more often if you would like to order something else. It gets very crowded here from around 5:30 p.m. You have to like it when the tables are a little closer together and you can possibly comment on the conversations at the neighboring table. I find the changing monthly pass very appealing. If you wish, you can have half the toppings on a pizza or you can just order one pizza for two and each person chooses and gets half. Gladly again.

Overall it was a very good visit and even though it was a Saturday evening we still got a table without a reservation. The pizzas were hot and really tasty. The only thing I found a bit confusing was that they weren't cut. Personally, I didn't think it was a bad thing if you had to go and cut it yourself. The service was also super nice and asked again if we wanted something to drink. Nice atmosphere, nice lighting and you really felt comfortable. Keep it up, you're doing a great job!

The restaurant impresses with a welcoming atmosphere and a friendly team. The pizza tasted good, but unfortunately we had to wait 40 minutes for it. The slow service could be due to a lack of staff. Overall, the visit was still pleasant.

Our first visit to the branch in Ruhrpark and unfortunately not as convincing as other locations. Even though the place wasn't fully booked, it took a good 45 minutes for us (4 people) to have our food, with one dish being forgotten and served 10 minutes after the others. No comment on what bothered us the most. You can always overlook or forget something, but then adding the food later even though it was clearly forgotten (the waiter came by, widened his eyes and quickly ran away again) is unprofessional. As in the other branches, the quality of the food was good and the portions were plentiful.

Mega, huge old industrial hall, wonderful seating in the shade, they have a lot of outdoor space, great food and great service, absolutely recommended, definitely go if you are nearby.

Simply great. Portions that are too large can simply be taken away.

Very attentive staff and food in the usual L’osteria quality. I always enjoy coming back. The food: The food was just as you would expect from L’osteria. Tasty (and large) pizza at good value for money. The atmosphere: The staff was really very attentive. I was stung by a wasp during my visit. An employee (I suspect even the manager) came up to me straight away, asked how I was feeling and offered me ice cream to cool down. At a later date, another employee filled up my makeshift ice pack with ice again. I would like to thank you again for this. And beyond that: all the employees were extremely nice and accommodating. Food ordered: - Pizza Caprese / Nduja Calabrese - Breakdown Cotta

We had eaten at L'Osteria several times. But unfortunately the visit turned out to be a failure. The pizza had a hole, we would have gotten a new pizza. But we didn't think it was that bad. My spaghetti aglio e olio was floating in water. Unfortunately I discovered it too late. The salad was very tasty, the dressing was perfect. Otherwise we were always very satisfied. Not this time.

I was very satisfied with the food and service. What is particularly noteworthy in my opinion is the playground right next to the outdoor area. This way, the family can go out for a leisurely meal after a shopping trip and the children can run around if necessary.

I've eaten in many L'Osterias but Bochum is the best in terms of taste. The service is also top, here Bochum is right up there with Wuppertal.

The good first. The staff was exceptionally friendly. There was a lot going on, but the staff seemed very competent and incredibly nice. When the starter (bruscetta) came, we were delighted. Looked great and was delicious too. We ordered pizza. When this came, I was a little dissatisfied. It looked very dark and sparsely stocked. But I figured the main focus is on the taste. What can I say? The ingredients were just slapped on, the pizza was burnt, dry and tasteless. It's a shame that the food can't keep up with the staff.

I was with you on a Saturday with my wife and child and I have to say that I will not be coming back. My wife ordered pasta and I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza. I waited a whole hour for the pizza - an hour, just imagine! A group of women who had ordered before us also felt the same way. That just wasn't normal. Not even the waiter thought to apologize for the long wait. Instead, after about 40 minutes I had to ask myself where the food was. The drinks were no longer cold. The disappointment was also the pizza: extremely thin, even burned through in one place, leaving a hole as if it had been caused by a cigarette. In the end, €40 was gone and we were still hungry. My request not to put so many onions on the pizza was apparently ignored; the onion pieces were larger than the chicken strips. In addition, the staff seemed to be very overwhelmed, as the waiters also had to take orders from a “head waiter”. It was interesting to see how annoyed they were about this. It was also very loud in the restaurant.

I have been there more often in the past, the last three times I and my companion were treated extremely unfriendly by an employee (always the same). When she asked us about the food and we asked for a little more time, she rolled her eyes. She also looked at us strangely when we both ordered our own pizza. When we wanted to have it packed at the end, she said, “Oh, it was too big.” The money is thrown on the table and even a goodbye is ignored. I find something like that to be extremely disrespectful and will be unpleasantly remembered! Conclusion: I used to go there at least twice a month. Not anymore👎

The food is far from fair to the price. The noodles were swimming in oil and everything was “slapped” onto the plate very carelessly. The toilets probably weren't cleaned that day. The staff was very nice and accommodating! However, I wouldn't come back for the time being

I recently ate at this pizza shop and absolutely loved it! The service, especially Önder and Birkan, were very friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was cozy. The pizza was simply delicious – the dough was just the right amount of crispy and the toppings were fresh and rich. I particularly liked the combination of fresh basil and melting mozzarella. I can only recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a really good pizza. Thank you for the great experience!

Typical L'Osteria. The food was delicious and the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. We had the food on the table less than 10 minutes after ordering. Given that the restaurant was almost completely full, I found it impressively quick. Unfortunately, the number of people in combination with the high concrete ceiling contributes to a very high basic noise level. That is the only point of criticism.

Absolutely no recommendation! I can't comment on the food because unfortunately it didn't come to that at all. I wanted to sit outside in the shade near the playground with my little daughter. It wasn't crowded and there were plenty of free tables. According to the first waitress, we should choose something. But we weren't allowed to occupy the spot we had chosen because there were four or five chairs there. It would only be for “larger groups”. The young, friendly lady would have been happy to give us the space, but had to consult with her “boss”. He then came up to us and told us in broken German and in a very rude manner that we were not allowed to sit there and that we could sit in there. The place was free, not reserved and there were enough alternatives for the larger groups mentioned that might come as guests on a Thursday afternoon. I would have liked to leave my money there and we were very hungry, but obviously this place is a bit strange. That was our first and last visit, which wasn't even a visit. A pity!!

As always, when you visit Osteria, everything is great. Another thing worth mentioning here in Bochum is the extremely nice table service. Top!

So far I have been disappointed with the Ruhr Park Losteria. I find the food and service better in Dortmund. Sometimes you have to wait 50 minutes for a pizza, even though there wasn't much going on. A pity. Higher priced food.

We were here today during our shopping tour in the Ruhrpark. The Tonno pizza was super tasty and was enough for two. The service was friendly and quick.

Four of us were there on a Monday lunchtime and decided to sit in the restaurant. It took 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order. It was friendly service. The drinks came promptly, we waited over an hour for the food. First the pasta dishes came, 10 minutes later the pizza and another few minutes later the salad. Everything was fine except for the salad. In the Caesars salad, most of the leaves were the middle stalks, i.e. inferior, and the bread was very hard and couldn't be distorted without a subsequent dentist appointment. I've been here many times, but this time it wasn't recommended. It was very restless in the restaurant, babies and children screaming like in the playground and loud dogs barking ruined the atmosphere. To make matters worse, the music was turned up so loud that it was difficult to hold a conversation. A pity!

Food is typical losteria, you know what you are getting, a young lady was trained and provided great service. The benches were a bit old and dirty/worn (smaller holes, large stains)

We actually like to go to L'osteria often, but after we sat down in yesterday and three mice walked in in a row, we lost our appetite. After we mentioned this to the waitress, she simply said, "Yes, we've had to set up mousetraps before, we'll probably have to do it again." Really just disgusting, hygiene-wise there seems to be something wrong there when three mice run under a table within half an hour. Never again….

This restaurant on the edge of the Ruhr Park impresses with its delicious food and extremely friendly staff. My favorite meal is the Gnocchi Gamberetti with an extra portion of shrimp, but the huge pizzas also taste great and are a great value for money. What's particularly cool is that you can do each half differently. We've been here so many times that I can't count it anymore and we'd love to come back again and again!

In short, the food is good. Apart from a few places in the location, this is not suitable for eating in peace, but given its size it is probably not wanted at all.

I had the bbq chicken pizza. I have to honestly say a little smaller would have been good too. It was still very tasty. The service was very attentive and friendly. We had a lovely evening there.

We eat there regularly, it's a very nice restaurant and the waitresses are very friendly. Our children never get bored and everything always goes very quickly.

No gluten free pasta. Service / receipt of food was quite slow even though we were the only ones there at 11:30. vitello tonnato was mediocre, not at all good. Pizza was good but very greasy. Toolset dish was good but a bit bland. It needed some spicy topping. Environment very nice and open.

Stop L'Osteria. The usual ambience and menu at the chain. There were two of us there for lunch. The food was delicious and the service was friendly, which is not always the case at a location like this right next to a shopping center when customers are virtually guaranteed.

After an extensive shopping tour, we spontaneously stopped by L'Osteria. We received a very friendly welcome, were served quickly and had a hearty laugh with our waitress. The entire restaurant is very large, has an open kitchen and you can watch the pizza makers preparing the pizzas. Our food and the wine were really great.

Overall, I unfortunately have to say that it was the last time in this restaurant in Bochum. The service was simply subpar and you felt like you were on an assembly line. There were several people standing at the entrance because the reception was not occupied. Our waitress only asked the bare minimum and the shift manager slammed the drinks on the table so that the drinks overflowed. He looked at the drinks and said oops instead of apologizing or coming back with a cloth. The waitress didn't even stop at our table after ordering to ask how the food was, we had to get salt and pepper ourselves. The only praise I can give was to the cellar lady from the next area who pointed out to her inattentive colleague that we wanted to pay. She then came to our table with the question: bar or card. In summary: I haven't had to experience such bad "service" in a long time.

Had very unfriendly service today. People came after us, ordered after us and finished before us. Our food was no longer on the table. The waitress was super unfriendly and told us it was Saturday which is why it was taking longer. However, people who arrived were already finished eating and we just had drinks on the table. The staff was very rude and simply walked away in the middle of a conversation several times when we asked where the food was.

I ate there with friends and I really recommend it. We had reserved a table for 5 p.m., so the customer frequency was manageable, but from 6 p.m. onwards it became steadily more crowded. Ambiance, something different, great, service was great and friendly (despite it being full), food very good. Prices reasonable.

It's a great Italian restaurant. We were a group of 20, and we were well looked after. It was very busy for a Tuesday evening but we didn't have to wait too long for food. The pizzas were huge, and the pasta looked great. Everyone enjoyed it and I'd definately go back.

What's particularly noteworthy is the size of the pizzas - they're huge and can easily be shared. The dough is perfectly crispy and the toppings are fresh and generous. Our favorites were the Pizza Diavola and the Pizza Prosciutto e Funghi. The service also deserves praise. The staff is friendly, attentive and ensures that you as a guest feel completely comfortable. The waiting times are pleasantly short, even though the restaurant was busy. Another plus point is the central location of L'Osteria Bochum, which is easily accessible and offers plenty of parking nearby. The prices are fair and the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Overall, L'Osteria Bochum is an excellent place for a cozy meal with friends or family. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
