I went out to eat with my girlfriend. The food was delicious, and our waiter, Ardil, was very attentive, friendly, and professional. 👍🏼👍🏼

The food is delicious and plentiful. We waited quite a while for our order today, but the service did its best to fill the gap. Can deserves special mention for his first-class service. We'd be happy to come back 👍

When I want something tasty, fast, and fresh, combined with friendly service, I always enjoy eating at L'Osteria Bochum. This time I had spaghetti with tuna and shrimp again, incredibly delicious and a large portion, served by the lovely Veronika. As usual, the service was very attentive and friendly, the atmosphere wasn't as busy at lunch as it is in the evening, and when the weather's nice, the outdoor terrace is also open. It doesn't get much better than this for a chic weekday lunch! I'd be happy to go back anytime...

The pizza is top-notch and more than filling, with a lovely interior and a cozy atmosphere. But what made the evening the most enjoyable for me was Can, who was excellent and very polite and courteous. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

I recently visited the restaurant and, unfortunately, my impressions were mixed. While the food generally tasted good, there were a few things that negatively impacted the overall experience. The pizza's toppings were okay, but the crust wasn't cooked properly – it was still too soft and doughy in the middle. The spaghetti was also unfortunately overcooked, almost raw. Especially with classics like pasta, one should expect a bit more care – whether "al dente" or not, it should appear to have been prepared with care. A major problem was the service: The staff seemed clearly overwhelmed by the number of guests. The processes seemed uncoordinated, and the food was more of a rush. The wait was about 1.5 hours – hardly acceptable for families with small children. The ambiance also left much to be desired: The music was very loud and more reminiscent of a bar or pub than a restaurant where you want to enjoy a relaxed meal. All in all, the restaurant has a lot of potential with a few minor adjustments – but the concept urgently needs to be rethought: better organization of service, more precise preparation of the food, and a more harmonious overall ambience.

I went to L'Osteria today and ate a pizza there. It was absolutely delicious: crispy base, fresh ingredients, and a really large portion, as you'd expect from L'Osteria. I also want to particularly highlight the service: our waiter, Can, was super friendly, attentive, and warm. I felt completely at home. I'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, we were completely dissatisfied today. After the waiter made suggestive comments (even though we're married) and we didn't respond, we had to justify the tip. We felt pressured to tip, and since we had to wait a long time, we only gave €1 on a bill of just €20. We were then criticized for saying that he had to give 2.5% to the kitchen and we hadn't done anything for him. He also got loud and it was very unpleasant. After we complained about what kind of behavior this was, we were asked not to write a review, instead of the waiter apologizing. The food is only average, and tips are not something to be taken for granted. If you don't like the working conditions, you have to find a new job. That's not our responsibility. Unfortunately, never again!

Absolutely disappointing visit to L'Osteria in Ruhrpark – on May 28, 2025 I've experienced many unprofessional waiters – but today was truly the worst. The three of us (two adults, one child) arrived at the restaurant around 6:00 p.m. The bill of approximately €40 was paid at 7:22 p.m. – and a lot of things went wrong in between. The waiter took our order but couldn't even bring cutlery in time. Only after I pointed it out did he respond – but no apology. Instead, only mocking, provocative remarks and disrespectful behavior from a distance. When we asked for the bill, he calmly cleared the table and then made us wait again – that was the worst for me and absolutely unacceptable. That's simply not how you treat paying guests. When it came to paying, shift manager Andrea didn't make things any better: She said we could just come up to her next time, and then we'd "get something from them." Honestly, I pay for my own stuff – but I should be able to expect a minimum of respect. When exactly did "the customer is king" disappear? Conclusion: Never again at L'Osteria Ruhrpark. Friendliness and service? None.

Very friendly staff. The pizzas are the hallmark of this restaurant chain. Thin crusts, not greasy, delicious, and larger than the plate. What's special about this branch is the huge playground for children from walking age right outside.

For pizza, in my opinion, it's simply unbeatable. Very tasty and huge! The other dishes I've tried so far have been okay. The background noise is due to the high ceilings. My recommendation: a lava cake with mango sorbet for dessert 😉

I was on a training course in Bochum. The restaurant is close to a very nice shopping center. It's very large and has plenty of seating and a terrace. I was there alone on Sunday evening and had to wait quite a while both to be shown to a table and to order. The music was very loud for my liking. I ordered a pizza - it was delicious, very large and I really enjoyed it. No surprises. The second day I went there with a colleague, we sat on the terrace - it was very pleasant, we had a good conversation, the food came faster this time and I ordered a salad - quinoa salad. In terms of taste, I'd say it was mediocre; the salad had been prepared long ago, so I wouldn't order this salad again.

We last had a wonderful evening here on May 8th. It was my birthday, and my mother asked beforehand (as a surprise) if we could have a little more space, along with a little surprise in the form of a candle on the dessert and birthday music to round things off. The service that day was outstanding, as we've always come to expect here. The food was amazing, the drinks were fantastic, and the atmosphere and the wait staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive. We even got two tables to celebrate the happy occasion, and they were allowed to hand out some fun decorations. And since I didn't know about my lucky dessert, this was an outstanding and truly surprising, warm-hearted moment. The staff, in particular, were so generous with their time and made it possible. My heart sank for a moment, but it was truly a wonderful, beautiful moment! Thank you to Losteria and the entire team for this wonderful evening and for making this surprise possible! Absolutely fantastic! :-)

We were here as part of a larger group at a time when there were quite a lot of people. The service seemed to be on top of everything. One or two drinks that were delayed weren't a problem and were brought promptly upon request. We all received our food at almost the same time. Due to the large number of people and the architecture, it was quite noisy at times.

The location is very nice and offers indoor, outdoor, and conservatory seating, as well as an adjacent playground. The food is okay, but the prices are a bit expensive in comparison. Wait times naturally depend on how busy the place is. The service staff is very friendly and tries to respond quickly.

Fast-food restaurant. It was very, very loud. It was almost impossible to have a conversation at the table. If you like oversized pizzas, this is probably the place for you. At our table (8 people), no one finished their pizza.

I don't know where to start... since we ordered take-out, we came up with the nice idea of ​​having a drink at the bar... there shouldn't be anything difficult about an Ipanema (I thought)... The waitress gave me a bucket of ginger ale with an unpressed lime and crumbs (cane?!?!) of sugar, which was piss warm and dead like my great grandma. I doubt very much whether the ice cubes were out, but they didn't find their way into my Ipanema. The plus point was (I thought) that there was more to drink, which turned out to be a minus point after the first one. Now the expertise about my "food" in my Bolognese you could fry a whole beef in it with as much oil as there was floating in it, it didn't take 2 minutes and it came out unfiltered, we don't need to talk about the pizza which was served ice cold. All in all, I could have thrown up cheaper.

A nice location with normal Losteria food: that means good pizza 🍕 With nice staff. The portions are so good that you can take half of it home with you. It was also packed up quickly without any problems

The only Losteria where I really enjoy eating. Even though the recipes are supposedly the same everywhere, the pizza here is really delicious and so is the Caesar's Salad, as I discovered this time. It's really comfortable to sit there, both inside and outside and our personal icing on the cake is service from our favorite waitress Silvia 😊. We are happy every time she is there. Gladly again…

A restaurant in Bochum's Ruhrpark Westfield. It is large and was well attended on Saturday, although there was a bit of a wait. There is plenty of choice on the menu. The food was delicious and the staff was always friendly and accommodating.

I went to L'Osteria in Ruhrpark for dinner today. I chose a new drink Monaco Organic Bitter Lemon - with purely natural ingredients - was served with ice and lemon - good taste. When I asked, the waiter, Mr. Berhan, explained to me that some of the lemons are even harvested from their own trees - before being used in the drink, the lemons are washed (i.e. freed from pesticides). The Pizza Degli Artisti was a thin crispy base, very well topped with fresh peppers and mushrooms and other ingredients - with extra artichokes. It was a good combination in terms of taste. I was completely satisfied.

Holiday and was quite crowded and loud. Waited 45 minutes for the food. It would be nice if there was someone at reception to take reservations etc. We would have to orientate ourselves and find someone. But the pizzas were very tasty.

I noticed that there was still bread missing from the carpaccio. "It's still taking time, it needs to be baked first." I didn't touch the extra carpaccio, a quarter of an hour later the waiter said that it would take a while and that the bread would only come with the main courses. There was no bread with the main courses either. I didn't care then. When the waiter asked me for dessert, I should have said to bring me the bread with the carpaccio. But then I didn't care. If he had said: "sorry, bread is out" and had given me an obligatory euro off my bill, everything would have been fine. Well, all in all, there's a bad rating for it now.

We ate there on a Saturday afternoon after a shopping trip in the center. When the weather is nice you can sit outside, unfortunately right next to the children's playground. The food was good, the service was friendly.
