Great food, friendly service, we regularly go to our favorite Italian restaurant.

Sehr nettes Restaurant, hochwertige Karte bei angemessenen Preisen, exzellente italienische Küche, sehr netter Service. Spaghetti Carbonara sind meine Lieblingspasta - klingt einfach und trivial, ist aber bei Da Carlo wirklich super! Empfehle, einfach mal was von der Karte auszuprobieren, es lohnt sich.

We spontaneously wanted to eat GLUTEN-FREE pizza. This was possible without prior notice; there are various gluten-free pizza and pasta dishes. SCHÄR flour is also available in the store. Bruscetta was served as a starter, also gluten free. Very nice service in a pleasant atmosphere at reasonable prices. A reservation is recommended. We got there right at 5 p.m. and were able to get in straight away

The two of us went there for dinner yesterday at lunchtime. Very tasty pasta dishes and pizzas at reasonable prices. As a greeting from the kitchen there was bruschetta. There is a larger parking lot behind the restaurant. Definitely worth a visit!

We recently visited Pizzeria Italia da Carlo in Bochum and were very happy with our visit. We enjoyed the food excellently and were particularly impressed by the fact that gluten-free pizza and pasta were offered. What we particularly liked Gluten Free Options: It's fantastic that Pizzeria Italia da Carlo offers gluten free pizza and pasta. This is a big plus for people with gluten intolerance. Pizza quality: Both the regular and gluten-free pizza were very tasty. The dough was crispy and the topping was fresh and tasty. Value for money: The prices for the pizzas are absolutely fine. You get high quality food here at a fair price. What could be improved Vitello Tonnato: As a starter we had Vitello Tonnato. It was good, but we've eaten better at other Italian restaurants. There is still some room for improvement here. Conclusion All in all, our visit to Pizzeria Italia da Carlo was very positive. The food was excellent, especially the gluten free options are a big plus. We would come back at any time and can fully recommend Pizzeria Italia da Carlo. Recommendation: Be sure to try the gluten-free pizza, it's really delicious!

The food is really very good. Fresh and delicious. You will hardly find better pizza outside of Italy. #RealItalian I eat there regularly with my girlfriend. However, on the weekend or when VfL Bochum is playing you should reserve a table as it tends to get very crowded there. If necessary, you can also get a pizza, pasta or salad to take away. Unfortunately there is no delivery service otherwise I would just eat the delicious food there 😅

Best gf pizza, plus a gf greeting from the kitchen with bruschetta pizza rolls and herb butter and instead of schnapps, a Schär chocolate bar on the house. Great staff, warm atmosphere.

The location is basically very good, but for me the atmosphere was rather restless and without a concept. The service was incredibly nice and accommodating. We always had someone available to ask questions. As a free starter there was lovingly served pizza rolls with herb cream and bruschetta. The pizza tasted average and was therefore good value for money.

The salads weren't served well but recently things have changed. Salad is beautifully prepared with love and that's why you get 4 stars.

Mega delicious gluten-free pizza, really crispy and well done. Even extra requests were no problem. And there was even a gluten-free bar for everyone on top. We'll be back.

Great selection of Italian dishes. There were six of us and we were all very happy. One of us has celiac disease and received excellent care. Even the greeting from the kitchen was prepared especially for her, gluten-free. You should definitely make a reservation. It's worth it. Bon appetit

Went there spontaneously the evening before last. As a starter we ordered pizza rolls with herb butter and vitello tonnato. The main course was 2 pizzas. The pizza rolls were cold and small, I thought 4 pieces were not enough given the size. I found the Vitello Tonnato a bit expensive (14.50) for the quality. But we enjoyed it. The pizzas themselves (under 10 euros) were OK. It was the typical pizza joint pizza, nothing special. Personally, the pond was too labyrinthine and somehow a bit raw for me? At least I missed the crunch or the bite. All in all I'd say it's a good 5 out of 10. A standard pizza joint with seating.

Came to this pizzeria because of the gourmet book. Fortunately. We really enjoyed it and it wasn't the last time we were there. We really enjoyed the starter, main course and dessert. Nice and friendly service. Gladly again.

Modern old school restaurant, # Gluten-free # extremely delicious # the guest is king # we'll be back! I had dinner there with my cousin today. The staff was really friendly, there was a "starter" which consisted of four small rolls with herb butter (also gluten-free). My cousin and I ordered two pizzas, including one gluten-free because of my wheat allergy!! +(can be filled as desired) For dessert we got a Duplo and a Schär chocolate bar♡ + our packed things :) Conclusion: it was super tasty for both of us and I didn't have any consequences with my allergy :) i.e. stomach pain or something like that, as I've unfortunately had with other pizzas. We'll be back!!!

Here you can eat gluten-free pizza and pasta 👍🏻 and you can eat it regularly from the menu that says gluten-free. Even the pizza rolls and mini bruscetta were available separately as a gluten-free version. Everything tasted delicious, the service was friendly, quick and attentive. It's been a long time since we were able to eat together at an Italian restaurant; unfortunately, gluten-free is far too rarely offered. We'll be back - thank you :)

Went there for the first time today with my daughter. She has recently been suffering from celiac disease. The restaurant made a very positive impression. You seem very familiar with the topic. A starter was served and my daughter was also thought of. She got everything gluten-free. She chose the spaghetti bolognese, which she finished, so she seemed to really enjoy it and had no complaints. At the end she received a gluten-free chocolate bar from the restaurant. We can only recommend the restaurant. A reunion is definitely planned.

We were there yesterday, three people, one with gluten intolerance. The service was friendly and quick. There was a greeting from the kitchen, mini bruschetta, also gluten-free separately. The delicious antipasti plate was accompanied by normal and gluten-free rolls. The gluten-free pizza tasted good like the other dishes, and the pasta dishes are also gluten-free. To say goodbye there was a gluten-free chocolate bar. Unfortunately we live a little further away...

We have known the restaurant for a long time and have eaten there several times. This time I had eggshells under the pizza. I only realized it towards the end and was really satisfied. Unfortunately, the waitress was completely overwhelmed by the situation and only responded to our request to pass this on to the kitchen with a brief 'Of course'. The owner and the restaurant staff subsequently made no apology or attempt to make amends. We are very disappointed

Short-term reservation possible, great! The food was delicious! Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired, we had to wait almost 1 hour for our starter, then another 30 minutes for our main course! We had to point out the pizza rolls that every other table received twice! In the end it was not possible to pay by card; a notice in the entrance area would be desirable. However, we were offered to pay the bill on another day! There is room for improvement for the restaurant, but unfortunately nothing for us. Pizza to pick up is recommended!

Food was good. Were there with 9 people. Ex gave a greeting from the kitchen and also an extra plate of gluten-free rolls. I found the portion of fish a bit small, but the taste was great.

What used to be our regular pizzeria no longer works after several attempts. It's a real shame. The price-performance ratio is right. The young employees are very friendly and considerate. But unfortunately the older employee is so unfriendly and treats us in a derogatory way as soon as we enter, it's so annoying that we're definitely not going there anymore. There is such a large selection of pizzerias that we can find something different with a friendly smile.

We were hungry and were short on time and because it was very crowded we asked in advance if we could make it in the 1 hour time frame available to us. I thought the warping products were set up at the entrance was great. We ordered gluten-free pizza and spaghetti carbonara and were more than satisfied, even the non-celiac who also ate gluten-free was thrilled. To our surprise, pizza rolls with herb butter and bruscetta were served in advance. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about celiac disease. At the end there was also a Schär bar. The prices are also just great. Despite the 1.5 hour drive we will come back. Thanks for the great food, we felt in good hands, which is rare with celiac disease.

The service staff was really nice, but we had to wait 2 hours for our food. Unfortunately, I have to admit, the food wasn't particularly tasty. Unfortunately I'm also disappointed in terms of value for money.

Unser Lieblingsrestaurant seit wir nach Bochum gezogen sind. Es gibt sehr leckeres und glutenfreies Essen. Wir kommen gerne und häufig :) Toller und sehr freundlicher Service, sehr gemütlich und lecker. Zudem preislich wirklich gut.

Schönes Lokal mit breit gefächerter Speisekarte. Hier schmeckt es richtig gut - und zwar auch allen, die glutenfrei essen müssen. Alles wird auf Wunsch auch ohne Gluten zubereitet. Trotzdem bleibt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis top.

Leckeres Essen, nettes Ambiente, allerdings mussten wir ziemlich lange auf unser Essen warten. Wir hatten den Tisch direkt um 17h reserviert und um 17:25 bestellt. Als wir gegen 18:30 einmal freundlich nachgefragt haben, wie lange wir wohl noch auf unser Essen warten müssten, kam der Chef und wirkte ziemlich verärgert. „Wieso habt ihr auch so spät bestellt?“ „Alle anderen hier haben vor euch bestellt.“ Dann ist er wieder gegangen. Dieses wenig höfliche Gespräch trübte leider etwas den Abend. Das Essen an sich war lecker, Scampis und Steak waren gut, die Pizzen vielleicht etwas zu wässrig. Wir haben früher sehr gerne hier gegessen und hoffen, dass der Chef heute einfach einen schlechten Tag hatte.

Ich kenne Carlo und die Pizzeria seit meiner Kindheit. Wir haben hier schon etliche Male gegessen, gefeiert und verweilt oder eben auch mal die Pizza/Nudeln mit nach Hause genommen. Wir waren immer mit allem rundum zufrieden, super leckeres Essen, tolles Ambiente, freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Wir sind immer wieder gerne hier!

Wir waren für ein paar Tage in der Gegend und sind immer auf der Suche nach einer Möglichkeit auch gut glutenfrei zu Essen. Sind hier zu 100% fündig geworden. Meine Tochter war begeistert das auch für Sie als Zölli ein Gruß aus der Küche kam. Hat seit langem mal wieder Spagetti außer Haus essen können. Wenn uns der Weg wieder nach Bochum verschlägt, sind wir auch wieder an Bord.
