Great dinner - really good pasta, and very fair portions, pleasant atmosphere

We have been to this pizzeria for several years. Pino was still the boss. And we always enjoyed being there. Now there is a new owner. It was 5 p.m. and we were the only guests. Nothing has changed in the ambience. Except that it looked dingy. Also the toilet bowls. You have to use a high-pressure cleaner. But now to the food. We had limoncello spritz, apple spritzer and pizza salami and ham. There was pepperoni on one pizza. We have never eaten or drunk so badly. The limoncello was so thin that it didn't taste like limoncello. The apple spritzer consisted of 1/8 apple juice and 7/8 water. Terrible. The pizza was the highlight. There were literally 4 half slices of salami and 2 half slices of cooked ham on the pizza. Half a pepperoni, chopped into small pieces, was piled in the middle of a pizza. Basil, oregano and cheese were probably just enough. The pizza base was rock hard and had not risen. We just tried them and then had the pizza packed up. At home we spiced them up with delicious ingredients. With the bill we got a limoncello spritz in a schnapps glass. Once we sipped we left standing. It was terrible. We will never enter this restaurant again. It's a shame, Pino, that you're not continuing to run the pizzeria.

Great Italian restaurant in a historic ambience on Frankfurter Allee. Ideal sundowner sun for a wine or spritz. Then we continue with a very classic Vitello Tonato. Tender veal with very tasty tuna sauce. Strong entry. Then pasta: both ravioli and fetucchini with truffles were cooked to perfection and perfectly prepared. An affogato for dessert completes a great meal. The Italian service was always very attentive. Classic Italian, no frills, who knows what he's doing! There is room for improvement when it comes to wine.

The name and operator are new, unfortunately the food at the new L'Isola does not (yet?) have the quality of the old Belmonte

I think it sold and another Israeli restaurant will open. there are already 4 in the street. Gino always good, fast, fresh, affordable.

Very tasty and fresh food, a variety of choices including ice cream and Italian sweets, great service, the food is prepared quickly, the boss is a wonderful man and very friendly, as well as the chef who prepares everything with a lot of love, in general there is a wonderful atmosphere, you feel like you are at home

The restaurant's cozy ambiance offers a good selection of tasty dishes, each one impressing with its quality and preparation! Prices are fair. The chef offers very friendly, attentive service. He personally fillets the fish at your table. A relaxed atmosphere prevails.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food cannot keep up with the prices. The vegetable side dish was also overcooked and mushy.

A typical Italian, small but nice. Price performance perfect for a nice evening.

I’ve had some bad experiences in bars before, but this was an entirely new level of awful. Walking in, it felt like stepping into a dimly lit, poorly maintained dungeon. The sticky floor stuck to my shoes like it was trying to keep me from escaping. The bartender looked like they had just rolled out of bed and didn’t know how to make a basic cocktail. I miss the old days and the nice people that used to work there.

Had a vegetarian pizza and tiramisu. Freshly made with quality ingredients. Nice, warm and cozy environment. Service is a little bit slow but did not bother. The restaurant serves a small bowl of Italian olives as a starter. Tiramisu was very well-made but i did not understand why it was served with a chocolate sauce on top of it. without sauce, would be much better or it’s better to ask guests if they would like the chocolate sauce on it.
